As always, the purpose of this thread is to gather the community to explore a flavor and its many uses. And it's also to have FUN!
Post recipes containing this week's Flavor of the Week, as the star or in a supporting role, with or without development notes. Talk about other people's recipes that use it. Compare and contrast different manufacturers' versions of the FOTW. Ask for help using that flavor in general or to achieve something specific, offer advice, brainstorm ideas, consider substitutions, suggest pairings... really anything at all as long as it's on topic.

I’m a fan of TPA pie crust. I know many don’t like it but I love it. It’s a fairly accurate toasted, dry, flaky crust to me. Almost as if you left the pie in a tad too long, it’s got a hint of slight over cooked toast to it.
I use to love it but can't stand it now. I made a strawberry poptart recipe from vurve back in the day with it and loved it. Now the few times I've used it that's all I can taste. It's really off putting to me now, which sucks as their isn't really anything like it.
Would love to suss out what the dinner lady use for there tart/pie base... I’m assuming it would have to be something that is uk tpd friendly! So that would mean a lot of the Graham crackers out of the hidden recipe!
I was playing about with a pie/tart crust the other day. Seems good at the mo...
Fa cookie 1% Tfa cheesecake graham crust 2.5% Fa caramel 0.5% to give the crust that golden sweetness Cap butter 0.25 to add the richness.
Personally, the Graham Crackers are only useful as an accent. Don't like them as a main flavour.
CAP Graham Cracker V2 at 0.5% or below is good for that "diet" cinnamon/nutmegy flavour if you can't stand strong cinnamon. I find it unbearable and too overpowering over 0.5% though.
Can only ever use FW Graham Cracker at 0.5% or below, otherwise it takes over a recipe. It can add a nice nutty coconut accent to a biscuit base at this percentage. Love the way it's used in Golden Oreo Pudding by Mills(Check alltheflavours.com)
Only ever get background notes- on the exhale- off TFA Graham Cracker Clear. Nice with custards but can destroy a recipe if taken too high.
Never got the hype around these flavours.
What flavors do you use or prefer then for crusts ?
I like using FA Apple pie, FA Cookie and INW Biscuit.
Have you ever tried Botboy's Awesome Apple Pie? It's amazing, so well balanced between pie crust and apple. It's a masterclass in layering too. https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/3800
Switched from TPA Graham Cracker Clear to RF SC Graham Cracker. Actually it’s one of the only 3 RF SC’s that I use. Can’t believe that he released yet another line of flavours.
Still find TPA Cheesecake Graham Crust and FA Aple Pie useful.
Want to try out One on One Pie Crust though!
My go to graham cracker is fw graham, it is the most authentic of the bunch, flv graham is close in flavor to it without the body. To me a touch of graham cracker can really put a custard or fruit and cream over the top.
The Graham Cracker flavors are like my children. I love them all equally, just in different ways.
