Vampire Vapes Heisenberg Clone - Revisited 2
submitted over 7 years ago by noilian"I Bet I Could Clone That"

It's been nearly 6 Months since my last post about this topic. Heisenberg by VV is still my White Whale of some sorts. I hope there was enough time between my posts, if not please let me know.

There where many responses to my research and I appreciate your help in this. Since there has been some development and further relentless research from my side I wanted to update you on my findings.

My last recipe was

Flavor | percent ---|--- FW Blueberry | 8% FW Red White And Blue | 4% TPA Grape Juice | 3% FW Black Licorice | 1.5% TPA Bubblegum | 3% WS-3 (30%) | 2% FW Natural Menthol | 2%

This is not as good as I would like it to be.

/u/SinkMix pointed out, that the main flavour would be Sasami's Blue Alien. After some back and forth with the manufacturer regarding a colorless version of it I ordered it to try it out. Could this be possible to fly under my radar the whole time?

It's not. Sadly, it is a completely different profile. I like it, but it has more of a peppermint vibe to it, mixed with TPA Bubblegum and some Blueberry that I tasted before but don't remember when and where.

Also, thanks to /u/ceedee99uk I tried this recipe. Taste is subjective, so please take my opinion with doubt - but the whole profile seems off. The billberry seems too sweet with little to no own distinct taste, the anise (FA) is WAY too strong even at .35% and INW Raspberry just seems out of the target profile. All in all it's just off in my subjective taste.

February was exciting for me - because there still seems to be interest in a long dead topic - as it seems. There was a response in the Kritikalmass Heisenberg Clone I already reviewed in my last post. I believed that guy from 2016 with his statement that this is a FW only recipe as some insider info. I'm at a point in this research where I just don't believe him anymore. I have about 100 FW Flavors (nearly the whole chefsflavours collection) and none of them depict the berry-part of the profile. Then in february there was another post stating it's a chinese concentrate made by Vjuice, especially this product. It's even called Heisenberg. I would love to try this out and I'm definitely going to in the future - but I don't think it's helpful in my search. Maybe some of you guys already tried their concentrates? Maybe it's just a shill for the new company, because I never heard of them before - who knows?

Regarding the FW Red White and Blue flavor - damn, it's tasty. It really is great in taste, but still I'm not sure if it's in Heisenberg or not.

Anyway - if any of you think you can contribute to my search, I would even be willing to send you a small sample of the concentrate if you can't get your hands on it. This thing is killing me...

Not to be that "have you tried" guy, but have you tried out Crystal Blue by Decadent Vapours? I've never had heisenberg, but I've heard it mentioned as a possible base by some much smarter cats who I trust. It's fairly easy to get your hands on via Chef's.

The profile seems to fit pretty well: "A divine deluge of juicy forest fruits, grape and a twist of anise, subtly culminating in a crystal cool finish.", plus blue and all.

Also, in that gcms in the last one it picked up a lot pineapple. I smell a ton of pineapple off that crystal blue.

I'm not sure if I qualify as the trustworthy one, but I'm 99% sure Heisenberg is like 80% DV Crystal Blue with some added anise, jungle juice (which is where I think people get the grape/vague fruit perception), and maybe some other shit

That flavor from DV wasn't around in 2015 when Heisenberg was made, I'm talking of the original Heisenberg from Vampire Vape.

Also Vampire Vape sells Heisenberg as a flavor concentrate https://www.vampirevape.co.uk/heisenberg-flavour-concentrate.html But if you like the challenge try mixing Acai Berry TPA with Pomegranate FA and Rasberry Malina INW for the main body, then add some cooling agent, menthol and anise. Oh and blue food colouring to make it taste like remedy.

Thanks for your contribution! Will check them out, first time I heard about the DV-Flavour.

What Pineapple would you think they chose?

I still think Heisenberg has a nice amount of INW Grape in it. And I also think Cactus.

by noilianover 7 years ago"I Bet I Could Clone That"

Please, set up 2 tanks, one with heisenberg and one with cactus @1%. I'm quite sure this lingering flavour is not in there...

Still on your side with the Grape though. But that Berry-like flavour, I still don't know where it's coming from. Maybe I will have to try all the mixed flavours from fw, inw, tpa and fa.

Now that I think about it, if you would hand me heisenberg without saying it should resemble a blueberry I would not think there is blueberry in it.

You might be right with the Cactus.

I don't get berries from Heisenberg at all. There is supposed to be blueberry in there?

The only blueberries I have tried so far is FA Billberry, which is strange but quite good and probably not in Heisenberg.

Then INW Shisha blueberry that tastes like grape sugar with cough medicine. I don't think it's in Heisenberg either.

It said so on their website, like 2 months ago - I swear! And everyone you ask in a vapeshop is saying the same. But it seems to be just a fruit mix with bubblegum. Just need to figure out what fruit mix it is...

Damn! You are a cool bean - after your comments I ordered quite a few Inawera Flavors. 18 to be exact. I tried your Pink Panther recipe, it is really close. Good job on that one!

Here is my List:

  • Black Fruit - Mint
  • Inawera Exotic
  • Inawera Grapes
  • Jungle Frost
  • Shisha Blueberry
  • Tino D'Milano Fruit Mix
  • "Dry Cocktail"
  • Kaktus
  • Marula
  • Pink Panther
  • Red Fruit Mint
  • Classic Yummy Blue Dwarf
  • BlackBerry / Blueberry
  • Prickly Pear
  • Just Berries
  • Classic Yummy Bubble Gum
  • Pairs of Pears
  • Raspberry (Manila)

After sniffing them all in comparison to the real VV Heisenberg, I am quite sure about the Red Fruit Mint flavor being the main flavor of this thing.

I'm gonna update my post on the weekend, but damn. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

Oh thank you kind Sir!

In the meantime I upped Pink Panther by 1% and reduced the Ethyl Maltol to 0.5%. Requires less steeping.

Red Fruit Mint you say? I must definitely order that, don't have it yet. Thanks again.

I’m just trying to nail that sharp sweetness in the juice, it’s not EM. Maybe grape or bilberry.

Did you have any luck with the Red Fruit Mint? I am really interested in your progress on the Heisenberg frontier :)

Actually I wanted to wait for the weekend to mix - but curiosity got a hold of me. I mixed several combinations

One at 7% and grape at 3%, but it lacks the flavor punch you normally get when vaping heisenberg.

I tried some combinations with Blue dwarf and even pink panther and I'm starting to think it's a single flavor with an insanely high flavor percentage - like 15-20% Red Fruit Mint.

The Anise flavor is actually just the mint in there...

Edit: If you are wondering, why I never mention any menthol in it - I only have the new line "Heisenberg No Ice" left for comparison. Maybe this is a good thing, because the menthol is not in the way anymore? IF you need the menthol, I wouldn't go higher than 1.5% at most, because the flavor is already cold. Anyway - Just mixed a batch with 20% Red Fruits and Mint and 2% EM (10%) - tastes nearly identical to me. Will have to wait a few hours for it to mix.

So...I tried the red fruit mint yesterday and indeed...that's is definitely the main ingredient of Heisenberg. 100% sure.

Have not tried to get the rest 10%, because actually I don't even like Heisenberg :)

Thanks for confirming! Thought my mind was starting to play tricks on me again :-D

Could the fw flavor prickly pear be the grape in it?

1 points

by Ernie_is_deadover 7 years agoProud Sidebar Reader!

I have no idea, fw flavors are not available to me.

I might be mistaken anyway. But to me Heisenberg tastes a lot like INW Grape.

by noilianover 7 years ago"I Bet I Could Clone That"

Tried FW prickly pear and INW prickly pear in it - and both are in a different position in the mix. The sweetness of Heisenberg comes in the end, after the freshness mellows down.

Both prickly pears are more an "in your face" sweetness right from the start in my opinion.

Could the FW flavor Prickley Pear be the grape in it?

I am in the same boat as you with the Heisenberg.

u/ID10-T pointed me to this flavor:

https://decadentvapours.com/shop/diy-e-liquid/flavour-concentrates/crystal-blue-e-liquid-concentrate/

u/SturmDesKaos pointed me to this list of clones with one heisenberg clone in there: https://www.reddit.com/r/DIY_eJuice/comments/350kul/solid_list_of_diy_clones/

If you happen to find a clone that comes really close please let me know. It's the closest thing to an ADV that I could find yet.

Edit: I can't use dem keys.

I was told that flavor was in Heisenberg by someone who has tried both. I haven’t tried either. I truly hope it helps you, but TBH Heisenberg sounds disgusting to me because anise/licorice is just not my bag.

It tastes like a deadly poison with menthol and a good shot of toilet cleaner.

Sometimes I like it, must be the masochist in me.

3 points

by noilianover 7 years ago"I Bet I Could Clone That"

That's all correct. Even the toilet cleaner. But you got to do, what you got to do, right?

by n0tveganover 7 years ago

The licorique is just a minimal hint, but I guess if you do not like either it's just not for you.

1 points

by noilianover 7 years ago"I Bet I Could Clone That"

Yo, we made some progress here. Main flavor is Inawera red fruits and mint - no licorice at all. I guess the mint is doing a weird thing in here - still looking for the sweet top note. EM doesn’t seem to cut it, but I will have to check in a few days after steeping.

Any ideas?

Thanks! The DV Crystal Blue was definitly new for me. It's in my next order with chefs. (They are a bit cheaper)

That clone you posted is not quite right. I remember it was one of my first tries when I started my journey. I will send you a PM when I'm getting close ;).

I don't know if you've seen this already but it's supposed to be a Heisenberg clone : https://www.driphacks.com/one-shots-c1/drip-hacks-the-one-who-knocks-p11

I've tried it and it's ok, too much sweetener for my taste.

They had Blueberry in the description a while ago, blueberry and aniseed.

Could it possibly be a mixture of two different color flavors making it blue? Doesn’t red and yellow make blue? I was thinking this prickly pear it’s kind of light purple and another like gold flavor wouldn’t that turn about the shade of blue you might be looking for? Just some food for thought...;)

I don't think you responded to the right comment.

On that note DripHacks use food coloring they sell on their website to make their juices colorful.

by Civinskoover 7 years ago

Oh and red + yellow makes orange.

by wh1skeyk1ngover 7 years agoThanks for reading this flair

What "flavors" are you using that are colored? Because they shouldn't be.

Also, it's cyan + magenta = blue, and taste doesn't translate to color spectrum in any way shape or form.

by imNAchogrlover 7 years ago

Flavorwest... a few have a hue I guess wouldn’t say colored but a few are golden and Ike I said the prickly pear purplish. Sorry about the color mixing comment 😩😂.. sounded good at the time and correct LOOL. Uugh tired, forgive me, one of those days.
