Had some old PC parts around so I made a juice mixer.

Tore apart an old hard drive and got a crappy little power supply, hooked em up and secured it all down on the desk. works pretty well so far; although I don't know how well it'll actually function at mixing juice. with the horizontal mount I'm feeling like it'll make for some leaks out at the top around the lid.

I suppose we'll see though

That's a nice DIY centrifuge ;)

yep, that's a juice unmixer.

I think to get true centrifuge results, it'd need to rotate closer to one end. As is, horizontal mounting just wouldn't do much. A vertical orientation, tho, would probably work.

Vertical orientation (shaft is horizontal) and low rpm.

Yeah that's what I plan to go for, a better mounting method is in the works.

Need a mini paint can mixer

Seems like it would just concentrate the different layers of liquids in the top and bottom rather than actually mixing it. But, the only way to know is to try it.

Yeah it was more experimental than practical, mostly just wanted to test the concept of tearing apart the hard drive and setting it up like this. Definitely do need to make a better mounting solution though.

You also need a way of mounting the base of that vertically. Then it would work better. As long as the motor can do the job.

This is amazing, take it to some IT subreddits too.

Put strong magnets on that plate instead of the bottle, voila diy mag stirrer

But then it would be pointless to have in a diy ejuice context.

I'm actually working on making an attachment for that, but I would rather have it set up where you can just stick a bottle in it and get it mixed versus mixing in a beaker or flask and then having to transfer it.

Way to Macgyver! I had a thought about strapping a bottle to a back massager. I don't have one but maybe one of you who does can try it ☺️

Just strap to a dildo and let it fly

I agree as pointed at earlier here ..

Centrifugal effect actually will 'separate' e-liquid ingredients back based on their SG .. Not Mixing them up ..
