Bull City Flavors if it’s important to stay on the east coast. Nicotine River and E-cig express pretty much have anything else Bull City doesn’t. Not to mention, Nicotine River is half the price of MFS for nicotine, and most everything else.

Personally, I really like Chef's. Usually shipping in canada is about twenty bucks, so even with tracking they aren't more expensive on that... and they have the best selection of flavors I use. If I need just base and TFA flavors (and dome of the other limited selection of flavors they have) I go with bestglycol out of Quebec. Options for PEG400 or PDO are more limited, so next time I need some I'll be ordering from fusion flavors. I'm not terribly loyal to a single supplier at the expense of finding what I want.

It's all made by TFA (at least, the TFA flavor you awked about) and bought by distributors in large bulk orders, which they then bottle in whatever they like. So there's no difference unless TFA messed up.

These are going to be your friend when it comes to organizing your flavors. You may only need 1 for a while, but if you pursue this further you will thank me later. As for storage solutions for larger stuff (VG/PG, bottles, etc), this is what I use personally. It's cheap and is great for basic organization of your larger containers.

Probably. Although there are recipes that should be just as flavorful. Maybe your own mixes are a little too high in EM...

I know one juice maker who I swear one juice is 3-4% INW Grapes, and that's all. Plenty of commercial juice is single flavor plus sweetener...

It looks like a bit more than I’ve had in my bottles, but I also have never let it sit for that long. Some floating mysteries are normal in it though. I was a little worried the first time I ever used it because I could see the little bits floating in the drops, but I just went for it anyway.

I’m hesitant to say to just use it because I don’t want that evil on me if it’s gone bad. I’d use it though. Maybe hit up BCF just to put your mind at ease.

Yeah, that's probably oxidized, nasty, and harsh. Smell it. If it's odorless it might still be ok. If it smells fishy or pissy, it's time to toss it.

Those are far easier to wick/rewick than a normal coil-type RDA.

I actually asked a similar question the other day and got a bunch of good info. Most of the suggestion assume you are vaping from an RDA tank though, where you build, install the coil and wick (add cotton) yourself (you can also buy prebuilt coils, but it's still very hands on). If you enjoy vaping on your current setup then I don't think it's worth exploring unless you're interested in it. It's a rabbit hole.

You could also just taste it on the gear you have now if that's what you plan on vaping on. But do at least use a fresh and properly primed coil, you can prime it with a VG/PG mix to not have to waste your mixed liquid on getting the coil going. If it tastes good with the Kanger then success, right?

No, you couldn't. If you bought that base and Menthol crystals you could dissolve the crystals into the base, and still be at 6mg. But any flavor that is in a PG (or alcohol or VG) base that you add to your 6mg base will dilute the base so it isn't actually 6mg. Or 50-50 (unless you use menthol dissolved in alcohol).

Yes, you could. Nothing wrong with doing that. Your finished juice will be slightly lower in nic, still 5.something. PG/VG ratio also changes slightly. But these changes are so negligible that who cares?

Nicotine River rarely gets any complaints around here, so no worries there. Let the savings begin.

I don't have any simple recipes, just came to say plum is one of tfa's stronger ones. Even at .5% it is noticeable. Try your recipe out with a meager .25%, that's where I was trying it out with FLV Red Burley for a darker tobacco.

Somebody else just asked this question (basically). Look for the answer I gave him. Four different RDAs that are actually easy to use without a learning curve like a typical coil type.

Now, if you insist on using a tank, vape unflavored until the coil isn't affecting flavor. Empty the tank, use your 5ml tester for the lowest concentration to fill your tank. Vape until you've got a good grasp on the flavor. Probably half a tank or so. Then dump the contents, try the next weakest concentration. Again, probably gonna take at least a quarter of a tank for you to be on that mix pure due to what's in the wick of the coil. Repeat until you've tested all the concentrations, or you've found one that's way too strong. Then go back to unflavored, and clear the coil to prep for the next flavor you want to test. Note: this assumes you don't have a really good idea what concentration to test at (ie: it's the flavor /u/concreteriver hasn't reviewed yet.)

Do you taste Peach or Strawberry in the juice you are trying to replicate? Not sure what place those have given your description.

Strawberry Ripe doesn’t really do much on its own. It’s pretty much useless unless paired with supporting strawberries.

My other suggestion to you is to wait for your Fuji Apple to come in. There really is no replacing that, especially not with CAP Green Apple.

Also, don’t breathe your mixes. It’s not necessary and does more harm than good.

Compared to other tobaccos, no. FLV has some great offerings.

They have one or two tobacco flavors that are supposed to be useful, but if you want tobacco you're looking at INW, Hangsen, Flavorah, and the SC flavors from China. Also, TFA has a bunch of flavors I use regularly... Champagne, Kentucky Bourbon, Blackberry, Raspberry sweet, Blueberry Extra, Toasted Marshmallow, Death by Cinnamon ~~Spice~~ (dilute the hell out of the smallest bottle you can find. A 15ml bottle is literally a lifetime supply of the stuff unless you mix for other people a fair bit and use cinnamon in everything.) There's possibly more that I use... currently testing a few, Mexican Liquor and Eggnog... dunno if they'll make it into the rotation or not.

Western is a great clone of DuMaurier

Black Honey is resilient as you can use in other mixes as a 'note' (like Apricot in my recent experiment)

Grape Juice is great. I blend lower notes of Apple and Dragonfruit

Recently got Acai and Ruby Chocolate. They work well alone or together.

Vanilla Bean Ice cream has allowed me to remix some favorites as milkshake varieties

FE Guava or as a second choice, CAP Sweet Guava.

I love FLV Pink Guava but it tastes a lot more like pink grapefruit than guava. TFA Guava tastes like a meth lab.

Get FA Forest Fruit or CAP Harvest Berry and call it a day.

Single flavor test all of those. Look up the blueberry trinity, make sure you have those.

TFA Blackberry is good, but very very potent. Use low.

INW Blackcurrant and MB Sharp Blackcurrant are great, combined 1:2 even better.

I like TFA Raspberry Sweet with INW Raspberry at a 6:1 ratio.

And TFA Blueberry Wild with FA Bilberry at a 3-6:1 ratio.

INW Blueberry tastes more like blackthorn, if you're into that.

INW Grape is a pretty good dark grape.

Can't think of any more. FA Black Cherry maybe, it's pretty good but hard to tame.

Yes, you definitely should do that. And let them steep naturally. Personally, I make 10ml testers so there's enough to try them at various steep times and note any changes.

Just wait for the ones that need steeping. Fruit flavors are mostly SnV. Although a lemon that tastes like lemon Pledge ~~is probably FA Lemon Sicily~~ just needs a day or two to be good, and... well, any fruit that seems 'off' that first day, give it 48 hours and try again.

Try lowering the temp and opening airflow, my guess youve prolly tried that?

Change to a MTL setup, like a Nautilus 2. A little EM in a mix can also reduce harshness of flavors. Using salt nic instead of freebase will work. Using PDO or PEG400 instead of PG would help if you're sensitive to PG. Other than those and the options you already eliminated, there isn't really any way other than doing SFTs on all your flavors, and not using the harsh ones, and finding alternatives you can substitute for them.

It might be decent at a very low percentage with menthol or koolada plus sweetener. Maybe on top of a bunch of creams with a complementary tropical or citrus flavor.

Yep, rainbow sherbet was one of the first juices I wanted to make, and like you I bought TFA. I've been mixing since Oct. 2017. The only way I have figured out to use that TFA Rainbow sherbet is to use it with Liquid barn's rainbow sherbet. I used LB at 8%, tfa at 3%, and added FW Beetle juice 2.5%, and TFA marshmallow 2%. It's a pretty good rainbow sherbet, but I'm still working on it. Hope that helps! If you find something that works out better, let me know! Edit: Credit for trying the beetle juice goes to Capt Cannibal from his use of it in Shurb.

Given how citrus flavors fade, and the fact that you'll be steeping that juice for a month... no problem. There shouldn't be any citrus element to your juice when it's ready to vape... depending on which tobacco flavors you use, of course. There is at leqst one that is supposed to have a citrusesque element.

Do you want a straight menthol, or menthol mixed with something?

Straight menthol is easy... order some menthol crystals, VG, and a bit of PG along with some nic base... dissolve menthol crystals in PG, put a bottle on your scale and pour in the amount of nic you need, the PG, and then VG. Cap, shake, vape. (Quantities of each depend on your personal preference. Assuming you buy 100mg PG nic base, and you DTL and want to mix 80-20, for 100ml mix you want 3ml of nic base, 17ml of PG and 80ml of VG. Vaping straight menthol, I'd probably dissolve about 30g of menthol crystals into 100ml of PG (actually, if I was mixing 80-20, I'd use PDO instead of PG, but that's a different topic) The problem is, maybe you want a milder or more intense menthol. It's impossible to tell you "this will work best" just give you a starting point that's reasonable for you to adjust to taste from. Of course, you could always order predissolved menthol in PG from TFA or pretty much any flavor manufacturer.

Uh... so you're using a clamp to hold the bottle a couple feet from your hand and getting leverage to shake it farther and faster? That would take the same effort since you're accelerating a greater mass, I would think. I'd have to do the math to see if there's any appreciable reduction in effort required. It might speed up the shaking process... Or did you affix the end of the clamp to some oscillating device to swing it up and down rapidly?

The only thing those use to crack was acrylic tanks. Most tanks now days are made of glass. I wouldn't worry about it unless your tank isn't glass.

I agree with /u/chewymidget I use this in a Baja Blast recipe, fairly high. Never had a single issue. I have since passed that recipe on to one person who has also had no issue.

Depends. Was it TFA Honey? Your sense of smell should return in time, if it was. If it was Death by Cinnamon, you'll want to rewick after doing a dry burn. And I expect anything you vape for the next month or two will taste of cinnamon, once your ability to taste returns. If it was TFA Butter... unless you dripped the whole bottle, you should be fine. But if you have problems breathing, get checked out. Anything else, you're probably ok.

Unless salt is somehow heavier than freebase, which I very much doubt, 1.235 g/ml is correct.

Good as any place to start with it would be 1:1. Though you might have more luck with JF's version as it seems to be better than Cap's.

Use 2% JF Yellow Cake.

The one recommended in the sidebar is the AWS-LB 501. It’s the victim of price gouging on Amazon, though. It was on sale for $30 yesterday, and from what I understand it’s now back to its regular price.

If you don’t want to spend the money on that one, make sure you get a scale that reads down to 0.01 g, does not have an auto-shut off feature, and can be calibrated. Obviously make sure it’s well-reviewed.

FA forest fruit. Its got a little bits of different fruits and isn't bad on its own. I think it compliments damn near anything I mix with it, but the real benefit for me has been using it for a 3-4 day period which seems to reset my taste buds very well. I can go back to some of my old favorites and get back some flavor. YMMV. But if you can find it, I think it's worth a shot

Depends. Is there a list of flavors you have and want to stick to, or are you open to ordering pretty much everything you need?

I tend to switch up what I vape throughout the day, but if I didn't, my ADV would probably be:
5% LA Lemonade
3% INW Grapes
1% FA Polar Blast
1% WS-23 (30% solution)

What are you paying for them? If it's less than a quarter a piece (it should be, but shipping could raise it above that) then I'd value time over reuse.

I have not tried the Short Bread Cookie. WFSC bakeries that I have tried mostly seemed to taste great but lack texture. If that's the case with this one, try CAP Sugar Cookie 2-3% or INW Biscuit (or better yet JF Biscuit if that's accessible to you) at a low % like 0.5% or less. You might also look into adding some butter flavor like TFA Butter for shortbread accuracy if you're into buttery shortbread, also low, like 0.35%. I wouldn't bother with FA Cookie for this.

Darker concentrates are tougher on coils, is the main reason. There's probably a slight taste difference as well.

I'd just use 1%, but I'd probably do that in addition to the koolada. Cooling agents are almost always a "to taste" depending on how sensitive to them you are.

However, generally WS-23 is prepared as a 30% solution. It's also half the effectiveness of WS-3 for the same amount, and since koolada is a 10% solution of WS-3, the math would say ~.67% WS-23 (30%) is equivalent to koolada. If you somehow got VT's weak-ass shite 10% WS-23, you need to use 2%.

I have used grain or vodka to clean. A run through a dishwasher. If nothing else hot soapy water and flush with lots of water as the last step. Good luck

INW Marzipan around 1% tastes a lot like a wet cherry to me, but it can be a little much. Otherwise, 3% FA Marzipan is a bit softer and a tad creamy almost like a cherry cordial, which I actually prefer over INW. Most actual "cherry" flavors get cough syrupy in a hurry.

Give up now. The path to a good cherry flavor has that sign "Abandon hope, all who enter"...

Depends. Does a cherry now and later taste like Bacardi's White rum mixed with cherry syrup, or like cherry flavored Styrofoam, or maraschino saran wrap? If the answer is none of the above, it'd be pretty difficult to answer your question.

Yes there is a difference! CAP Vanilla Cupcake is superior. :p

In my experience, CAP Vanilla Cupcake it´s more of a frosting than a cupcake. It haves a cake note but it´s very subtle. TPA Vanilla Cupcake it´s the opposite and it´s a very underrated for some reason. The cupcake note it´s present and with a bit help from FW Yellow Cake or JF, it really accentuates it.

The exception to the rule that no two brands of flavor are completely identical is cases such as FlavorArt/Flavor Creative... Flavor Express/Xpress Flavors... TFA/TPA... basically if a bottle is labeled under a different name by the distributor than the actual name of the manufacturer the flavor will be identical to the flavor made by that manufacturer. Now, if you were to ask about subbing one for the other, and what difference would that make to a recipe, that's a different question... and since I have no use for either of the flavors you mentioned, maybe someone else could answer that if you like.

I personally think /u/vurve nails the profile with his Cookies and Cream Ice Cream.

One thing I have changed though is using RF Cookies and Cream SC instead of the VG concentrate @ 2.5%.

Do NOT try to vape shite from your pantry. Probably the closest thing to safe would be imitation vanilla, but you'd want to make sure it wasn't too much water content. Seriously, flavor concentrates cost significantly less than a bottle of juice or a pack of smokes (depending on where you are, and if you honestly believe that I'm including stuff from Flavor Monks) so just buy the stuff that's safe to use.

I have tried a few in the beginning with out much success. Use flavors with PG. NO ALCOHOL OR OIL! It will not mix. Just get flavors for vaping. I tried to go cheap and I got cheap.

Pico is a great mod. I would recommend it in a heartbeat. You could get the Pico 25. To prevent the USB port from breaking, you should get an external charger.

I still use my Tesla 120W Nano in my daily rotation. Great mod.

Did you look up recipes for the flavors you bought? Blaze’s post specifically mentions this, so you should be doing that. Buying flavors at random is no bueno.

TFA’s DX versions are the ones without diacetyl and diketones. Unless you want to be diacetyl free, I wouldn’t order those versions. They don’t tend to be very good.

I’m assuming you mean TFA RY4 Double up there. If so, that’s a good flavor. It’s a vanilla and caramel flavor with the slight earthiness of tobacco.

I hope you ordered the SC version of RF Aged Bourbon Cream. If not, it’s suspended in VG and will take a very long time to steep.

I do not know anything about FW Butter Toffee and Caramel Candy.

I think u/EdibleMalfunction got to just about covered everything pretty well.

Hopefully you can get an exchange for some of your items. Specifically the 6mg nicotine. If your a 6mg vaper it's impossible to dilute that base. You will basically have to mix that at 100% and be wasting the whole bottle to make a couple bottles of ejuice. This is why you get higher strength like 100mg because you only need to add 1.8ml to create a 6mg mix.

As for the Flavorings you should def research for something like alltheflavors. As Edible mentioned and I agree RY4 is an excellent flavor and seems like it might be right up you alley. I feel like that would be a really good starting point.

That really depends on a multitude of factors

Selling finished juice isn't entirely legal in a lot of places, but some vendors carry mixes of just the flavor part of recipes, so called flavor shots, that you then add to PG/VG and nicotine yourself.

If you just want to try out some recipes without ordering all the separate flavor concentrates, it could be a good idea. But you'll still need the base liquids, bottles and a means of measuring.

Shouldn’t need to steep it at all, but it won’t hurt to wait a few days. That may be a little too much Peach though.

Yeah it's alot of work and very overwhelming and I think that s what turns alot of people off from it. If you follow that guide I wrote step by step you should be just fine. Most of us made the same simple mixer mistakes it happens lol.
