So I've recently taken the plunge into tobaccos and I've picked up the following:
FA Soho FA Glory
FLV Kentucky Blend FLV Red Burley FLV Tatanka
INW Am4A INW Gold Ducat INW 555 Gold INW Dark for Pipe INW Black for Pipe INW Black Cherry for Pipe INW Vanilla for Pipe
Inawera comes out on top, but I didn't really like Black Cherry for Pipe and Vanilla for Pipe. Kentucky Blend and Red Burley are good but they are serious coil gunkers. The FA on my list are so-so.
Black for Pipe is amazing and I feel like putting it in everything! Any recommendations for must have flavors that I'm missing?
That’s like asking if anyone is as good as Jesus.
But for real, I’d grab some INW Dirty Neutral Base and try out some of their Tobacco Absolutes. The tobacco absolute Cuban Cigar goes really well with Black for Pipe. A little DNB in there and you’ve got my ADV for the past few months.
How high are you using the FLV? I can’t personally do too much FLV in one mix. I usually have one or two in a mix with some INW or HS tobaccos, and I usually keep them lower than 1.5%.
I'm kinda vaped out on FLV Cured / Burley / Tatanka. I'm not feeling the rustic tones that much anymore. Kinda hard to explain. Just put an order in for some B4P. I'm sold on INWs and StixxMixx Perique/Turkish Oriental for the time being. I bit the bullet and placed an order on Naturally-extracted-tobaccos for some premixed favorites with high reviews.
I haven’t tried any of the Stixx Mixx. I’ve done my own extractions with Perique and Turkish though. I don’t even think I’ve tested my Perique yet. NETs start getting weird for me after about a half day of heavy vaping on them. Probably the coil gunk. I’ve got an Aged Burley that is really good though. Even mixed at like 3% it’s super strong, so I want to try it at 1% and see if the taste to gunk ratio makes it worth it.
Might have to Paypal you some $$$ for that Aged Burley. Perique is solid and currently my favorite NET. I wish SM Aged Burley was stronger. One of my older recipes used Perique, Black for Pipe, and Oak Wood. That's still one of my favorites. I had to lower the NET Perique down to 4% because of coil gunk.
Could I possibly get the actual recipe for what you mentioned? Please and thank you :-)
Sure thing! Brigade 2506
Inawera Gold Ducat, but I fear that they've reformulated it. It was on the list...
He has that one. As do I. (Hopefully I got old stock from before reformulation.)
What, no Hangsen?
And you should get a small bottle of Perique Black. Just in case you ever figure out a way to use it.
Or for if you need green pepper for a salad or pizza juice. ;) That stuff is weird
I think in really really really small quantities it should be useful.
Maybe it's the tobacco version of TFA's Death by Cinnamon? I'll have to prep a 5% solution of it to test @1%.
I've been into my rendition of Space Jam's Eclipse, but finding it somewhat too sweet. Not many people are into the tobacco Vapes... Could you help point me in a mix that's a good 'bacco vape?
INW Cappuccino Tobacco (excellent to go with coffee) & RY4 (Any brand)
A new company called ProFlavor got a lot of tobacco concentrates as well.
Here are some suggestions to work with what you have
- TFA Caramel Candy
- FA Jamaican Rum
- Acetyl Pyrazine for Nuttines
- TFA Double Chocolate Clear
- MTS Vape Wizard
Other Tobaccos I've enjoyed
- FA Virginia
- FA Desert Ship
- TPA RY4 Double
I don't go super deep into tobacco blends myself but I like them occasionally and make and taste them for others that enjoy them.
