EDIT: Copied and pasted from FB post.
Not really worth it. Most of them are awful.
I disagree with this. Just like any brand, they have some that are bad. But some that are really good. I find that with most brands. I find 1-3 stars, then maybe 10% of all flavors are good. Then some mediocre followed by some really bad. Seems to be true for all flavor brands I have tried. Do you like all the flavors of some brands? Maybe I am one of those oddballs...lol
Cheapest shipping to Australia is $190 US? 5 x 10ml free samples costs more to ship than the 20kg amp I bought last year. Yeah okay...
RF fruit pebbles:
Pretty decent but weak, it requires at least 3%. somewhere around 7-8% it starts getting a mushroom-like flavor. To me it's pretty similar to the mushy fruity pebbles that collect on the sides of the bowl. zero crunch/AP. It needs something to improve the flavor overall, though. FW Fruity flakes might be useful but I haven't bothered to play with RF's version in combination.
I will say that it's currently the closest single flavor representation of fruity pebbles, though. Where FW's flakes will be significantly lemony, this seems to have very little lemon-like flavor in it at all. I'd say RF's 70% of the way to a great fruity pebbles vape. I could see it being used outside of cereal profiles.
Sounds like it just needs 1% CAP Cereal 27 and it might be a decent fruity pebbles recipe.
Possibly. Its very weak, though so I'm not all that sure it would be enough. I'll give it a shot when i get back to my mixing station.
Maybe rf sc fruit pebbles 2.5%, cap cereal 27 1%, fw fruity flakes 0.5%. But then I'm still not sure if that's enough to hit the profile all the way. Ooo milky undertones would probably be great around 2% and cap sweet cream at 1%. Maybe meringue because it's great for cereals.
We'll see.
well, This is what i came up with. It's ... Well, It's good for sure. But it's definitely not fruity pebbles. Maybe it'll calm down in a day or so. At this point i have around (conservatively) 50 or so recipes dedicated to fruity pebbles so until something seriously good comes around fitting the profile the best way to grind it out will be to hit the fruit profiles individually like NotCharlesManson did. The only problem I have with his recipe is the usage of cap lemon lime. It's just incredibly overpowering even at lesser percentages.
E: Although, letting it settle for around 5 hours it is already pretty delicious. To be totally honest it has the smell of the flakes in fruity flakes but without the fruit. I mean, the fruit is still there of course but next time you get a chance to smell fruity flakes you should notice a... malty corn flake smell to it. probably from milky undertones and cereal 27. the smell does not translate to flavor.
my recipe above has that. in the next run I would reduce or remove cap super sweet. probably use LB Sweetener instead. I would also reduce cereal 27 to 0.75% and FW fruity flakes to 1%. a different cereal flavor like fruit circles or rings. or some tangerine/orange flavor.
The next run will look like this
manu. | flavor | pct ---|--- |--- CAP | cereal 27 | 1 OOO | milky undertones | 2 RF | fruit pebbles SC | 2.5 FW | fruity flakes | 1 FA | meringue | 1 LB|sweetener| 0.5 CAP|sweet cream| 1
Thank you for posting this.
That Strawberry is worth picking up. I don't know about about the others. I'm leery of RF SC because most of the ones I've tried haven't been all that great. They tend to taste... ok... but come across flat and thin with no real body to them. The way they vape feels unsatisfying. And they tend to not mix well with other flavors. These to two recipes convinced me that the Strawberry could be used to make some tasty stuff, though:

Cool got 12 flavors for 11$ including shipping.
It's charging me 9 dollars shipping...
Sadly, I am not going to be doing much RF SC stuff in the future. I started using them quite a bit, was a fan of a lot of their stuff. Problem is, you can only buy a minimum of 4oz from them directly anymore. Which I guess, for flavors I know I love, that is fine; for new flavors, I sure as hell am not going to buy 4oz of something new. They do sell 1oz bottles on Amazon, but it is limited, and not everything is posted there, same as what they offer through BCF/NR/ECX as well. They limit what is available, and I'm not a fan of that.
Is this US only?
I just checked the shipping cost to Norway, and it came out to $169.16 for one free 10ml sample. I think I'll pass on this one.
$230 to Australia. For a handful of 10ml samples... No thanks. On a serious note, there must be something wrong with the calculations done for shipping. I've received things from the US much bigger and heavier for far less.
Any tips on percentages?
Looking forward to sampling your products, thanks!
What he said. I don't work for them, just wanted to share. I grabbed them also. Just like the other vendors, they have some flavors that are really good, and some that are real losers. If you look in the Flavor Wiki I believe there are a few reviews in some of the SC's. There is also a lot of info on elr website.
Anyone else getting$30 shipping in the us? Where the cheap USPS option?
Edit left it for a bit and refreshed the page and the flat rate shipping appeared. 8.95 shipping
Is it the normal RF line or is it the RF SC line?
SC. No one would ever recommend the old line.
Well.... actually, I've noticed that some of their SC flavors that are supposed to be the same flavors are much better when VG-based. If you mix the VG based ones at a whopping high % and wait what seems like forever for them to steep. It's difficult to explain but the VG ones feel different. They come out feeling thicker, fuller, richer. The SC ones are more flat and thin. I would definitely recommend the old line Aged Bourbon Cream vs. the SC.
Also the VG-based Baked Bread but that's a rather niche flavor that not a lot of people want to vape anyway. Mostly because you don't have to make a dilution to use it (VG-based Baked Bread 1% is PLENTY) like you have to do with the SC version, but also for the same reason. I want my bread to be thick and fluffy which the VG version does better after a steep.
