Hi friends! So I've been really digging into the FLV tobacco line for the past month or so and just trying to give them the love they deserve. Overall the learning process has been some of the most rewarding mixing I've ever done. So let me preface this with thanking people like Fear, /u/lonesomerhodestn , and /u/ChemicalBurnVictim for all the wonderful tobacco knowledge they have put out there for free! Anyway, here's the the results of my toiling!
Black Forest Bacco
Mfg | Concentrate | % ---|---|---- Flv | Chocolate Deutsch | 0.5 Tpa | Cherry Extract | 3 Flv | Tatanka | 0.75 Flv | Red Burley | 2 Flv | Cured | 1
Here's some notes!
Tatanka is interesting as hell and quite a polarizing flavor. I couldn't find a tobacco that paired better with cherry or chocolate in the entire flavorah line. It has a very strong similarity to Redman chewing tobacco at higher percentages but lower than 3 or 4 percent helps it blend with other tobaccos. Even at 0.75 it's still quite strong but not too strong to take over the entire vape.
Cured and Red Burley are two flavors that go hand in hand as our tobacco base for Tatanka to sink right into. The very slight nuttiness from Red Burley compliments the chocolate duetsch and cherry extract which was kind of unintended! I was worried it might clash but it really works and also helps mask that coconut some people get from deutsch.
Cherry Extract is surprisingly light at 3 percent and really helps brighten up an otherwise dark and rich vape bringing balance. It can also really help those chewing tobacco notes from Tatanka pop and keep them interesting. That touch of cherry also reminds me of that lovely red fruit note you get from some of the really nice chocolates like valrhona.
Chocolate Deutsch lends an all-encompassing dark rich chocolatey body for everything to settle into, turning this into a lovely vape to have with your morning coffee. It really also helps dry out the vape a bit and keep it in that lovely tobacco realm. I was honestly surprised this concentrate worked as well as it did considering how many utter failures I've concocted trying to use this tempermental flavor.
Here's hoping you guys and gals enjoy it!

No kidding. That one's a real bitch to work with.
The recipe profile sounds good, thanks for sharing.
I just started playing with tobaccos too. Unfortunately Tatanka is one of the few FLV tobaccos I don't have yet. I definitely plan to order it now though. I've only placed 2 tobacco orders so far and it wasn't in any of the recipes I wanted to try. Until now!
I am not big on straight up cherry though. As soon as I get the Tatanka I will definitely mix this up, but I am going to sub either TFA or FLV Cherry Blossom for the Cherry Extract.
Thanks for what promises to be a fun and unique 'bacco recipe!
Wow, this looks really damn good, I can't wait to give it a shot! If for nothing else than the use of dat chocolate deutsch lol. IIRC I wasn't a huge fan of the TFA Cherry Extract but I'd be willing to give that flavoring another go =P
Thanks for the recipe and notes!
I may have to give this a shot. I have cured and red burley in my cart.
I just need a serious break from all the fruity malarkey. I got so sick of all the recipes I used to like regularly, I went out to the shop nearby and bought charley noble pistachio RY4. It’s the first juiced I’ve ever vaped with the word tobacco in the description, and I know it’s mostly nuts and Carmel, but I’m really interested in dabbling in tobacco now.

Hey it's also the first bacco I've put out! We're both newbies in this realm lol. I think you'll like it if you're looking for something really rich!
I’m definitely looking for something rich or maybe earthy or maybe Smokey. I think I’ve vaped enough fruits in the past three years. I don’t even remotely miss cigarettes, but I do miss the consistent feeling I guess. Its hard to explain. Seems most people are content with sugar fruit. I haven’t been content with a juice for very long since I started. I’m still trying to find my Marlboro Blend no. 27
