Adding depth and moisture to bakery flavors?

Hey guys, I'm looking to add some depth and moisture to the following main profile flavors that I have at hand:

CAP Chocolate Fudge Brownie

CAP Lemon Meringue Pie

FW Cinnamon Roll

INW Lemon Cake

TFA Apple Pie

I have EM, marshmallows, creams, cookie and biscuit support flavors, as well as a sweetener, but I've yet to try any of the butters by CAP and TFA. FW Tres Leches also caught my eye.

Do you think TFA Butter or FW Tres Leches would be useful for adding general depth and moisture to bakery recipes?

Edit: Thanks for all the suggestions guys. Just watched the Noted episode about butter and noticed how all of the hosts were gushing over butter. Have yet to try it out myself.

I've been using the following for moisture:

INW Cactus
INW Peach
FA Pear
CAP Cucumber
RF SC Sweet potato

and these for thickness/general mouthfeel:

CAP Vanilla custard v1
FA/CAP Marshmallow
FW Tres leches

Would also love to hear some opinions and additions to these. I hate dry vapes, so usually one or some of these end up in all my recipes in small amounts.

INW peach is an interesting additive for the mouth-feel to me!

I get what can only be described as the opposite sensation when I mix it into recipes. I love the peach flavour (2nd only to FLV peach IMO), but it adds a 'dry' or harsh-ish feeling to my juices when I add it - maybe it just has to do with concentrations that I'm using it in.

That said, can't be more on point with the INW cactus or Cucumber. Have you used any of the Lychee flavours? FLV Lychee and CAP Sweet Lychee come to mind.

Good catch. Seems like I copied some older list from my notes, inw peach probably shouldn't be there. I agree, it's delicious but does add a bit of harshness rather than moisture.

Wrt lychee, I do use FA Lychee as a sweetener but I haven't noticed it noticeably bringing moisture. Haven't tried CAP or FLV, will have to check those out.

I'm only just now getting into the Lychee flavour - I just got CAP's, and I can't try FLV's until I place another order from the larger supplier in Canada. I think it can add depth to a recipe so long as it can be sweet instead of that signature cactus flavour.

Chocolate Fudge Brownie makes a great Oreo Cookie with a bit of Acetyl Pyrazine or FA Cookie.

Lemon Meringue Pie can be backed up by FA Apple Pie (also good for TFA Apple Pie) Or Cap Sugar cookie.

FW Cinnamon Roll loses much of its character when mixed with other bakery stuff, someone else may have a good idea.

As for INW Lemon Cake, I never got it to work in any recipe, it just fell apart even though it has great cake texture on its own. (Tres Leches might do something good with it because it has similar milky soft fluffiness but I don't know how its caramel notes will match with the lemon).

I have this steeping atm:

INW Lemon Cake 4%
INW Lemon 0.75%
FA Custard 1.5%
INW Biscuit 0.75%
FW Yellow Cake 1%
FW Cake Batter Dip 1%
TFA Sweetener 0.3%

INW Lemon Cake works for me just on it's own, but here I've tried to beef up it's 'cake' side. FA Custard fits in nicely due to it's citrus'y character. I thought about adding 0.75% FA Marshmallow but didn't.

I love TFA Butter the smooth bakeries, and a little CAP custard can go a long way to helping out bakeries.

I personally think Marshmallow sucks in most bakeries, I can't ever get it to work. Cookie and biscuits can help with depth, but INW and JF biscuit can both leave a weird dry mouth feel to it if you aren't careful, and cookie can add to much AP can with a heavy hand.

For that cinnmon roll, LA CCI and a touch of CAP custard will help a lot. INW Lemon cake loves having some butter but will always be heavy and dry-ish. CAP LMP is good, but I have some issues with it. A little FLV coconut seems to help give it some richness.

Fa Meringue makes everything better but even a little cap van custard or some sugar cookie help give it a little somethin somethin
