Turkish Delight

description

A sweet, floral vape similar to the traditional middle eastern delicacy.

The recipe

  • CAP Italian lemon Sicily 1%
  • TFA musk candy 1.5%
  • TFA marshmallow 3%
  • TFA whipped cream 1.5%
  • CAP super sweet 0.5%

Steep time

At least 1 week to give the musk candy chance to settle into the mix. Be warned if you can't wait that long this is gonna be like vaping on your grannies perfume!

the breakdown

  • lemon Sicily
Lemons are used in the traditional edible recipe and as a result I felt it needed to be incorporated here. I went for the Sicily as it isn't too juicy, more if a peel kinda flavour.

  • musk candy
I bought this flavour on a whim and as soon as I got a whiff of it Turkish delight came to mind. So this was the essential addition and main flavour note in this recipe.

  • marshmallow
This was added to give it that fluffy mouthfeel vibe. Don't really know how to describe it but figured it would fit the profile I was going for.

  • whipped cream
Added to help bring the density and round out a very unique flavour.

  • sweetener
First off I want to add here that I don't condone using sweetener in any liquid but seeing as Turkish delight is generally smothered in icing sugar, a little needed to be added to bring a bit of authenticity

That's it, make it if you feel adventurous and let me know the outcome!

Awesome! Was asked by a friend on a Turkish delight a few months back, do you reckon flavor art lemon Sicily will do the trick?

Never tried the FA version. I've heard they're quite potent so maybe start at half the original recommended percentage

Steep time is 1 week minimum. Use the correct flavour total

So, does that musk candy require a steep normally, or just in this mix? Wondered mainly because I just had some arrive today (Chef's was clearing it out, I believe)... and didn't know whether to try a SnV SFT or not...

I'll be honest....this is the only thing I've used it in. The steep is for the creaminess to come through.
