Let's make a cream cheese flavor!
submitted over 7 years ago by mlNikon

Ok, so most of you liked working on the crumble with me (with a few exceptions) so I thought we could talk cream cheese. What ingredients or combos of ingredients do you use when you want a nice cream cheese filling, because we all know there isn't a perfect cream cheese flavor out yet. Just so some mods don't think this is a low effort shit post, I will share something I have been working on, it's not quite complete yet but getting close.

HS Italian cream - 0.5%

FA Meringue - 0.5%

MB Panna Cotta - 1.5%

FA Vienna Cream - 1.5%

So far it is pretty good but it doesn't have that savoriness that cream cheese has. it is sweet and tangy but is missing some richness.

What do you think about the usual Cream Cheese Icing from LA?

I like it used really low like .5% and steeped about a week or two. I am thinking of trying it in this base I have.

I've got a quart of Amoretti Cream Cheese flavor if that may be a short cut? Scared to test it though lol.

Do you want a Cream Cheese, like straight up Philadelphia Cream Cheese, or a cream cheese filling, where you've added things like sugar and vanilla to it and stuffed it into some kind of baked good?

I'd probably start with:

  • 2% CAP Sweet Cream
  • 1% TFA Sweet Cream
  • 1% HS Italian Cream
  • 1% CAP NY Cheesecake

For cream cheese. To turn that into more of a cream cheese filling? Probably add 1 to 2% OoO Vanilla Custard Cheesecake to it.

That looks good for a straight Philadelphia cream cheese and can be probably changed to a cream cheese filling pretty easily, thanks!

ooo TFA Sweet Cream & FA Yogurt could probably be brought together to do some cool things.

FA Yogurt (new) tastes like a cup full of slightly aged Heavy Whipping Cream.

RF Cream cheese (sc).

It's salty, tangy, creamy and cheesy and powerful as all hell.

Holy cow. No offense to you as we all like different flavors but the thought of vaping this made me dry heave.

lol no offense taken, its meant to be added to other mixes as the cream cheese base, it isn't very fun on its own.

Based on what I've read, HS Italian Cream and either FA Cream Fresh or a Sweet Cream is probably all that's needed. More on the Italian cream, less of the other. And maybe a bit of sweetener of some sort. Maybe a touch of MTS Wizard too. And maybe something lIke .01% TFA taro. The slight coconut from it shold boost the realism apparrntly.
