I think we still have the actual mixer of the year coming up, I got the contributor type award. BUT... that's still pretty rad. Just being on a list with Jenn and Fear is huge.
A huge thank you to everyone on the sub, and the community for giving me a space to rant about flavors. As cheesy as it sounds, I started to doing this to learn how to really mix by understanding the tools available, and I feel like I'm still very much on that journey. I'm really thankful for the support and feedback I get here. Y'all made me feel confident enough to start this weird deep dive on flavors and continue contributing.
It was a really fun 2017 in mixing, here's to an even better 2018.
You deserve the award. Your palette and ability to describe flavors has really helped me get my feet in the door mixing. Im now pretty confident in my abilities, but the road would have been much rockier without your reviews.
