I’m still fucking around with a Tripoli clone. I’ve got FW Fig and TFA Toasted Almond on the way, but I’m just trying to get the Tobacco part down and using CAP Toasted Almond as a stand in. Showing some promise right now:

  • TFA RY4 Double- 3.5%

  • FE Captain- 1.5%

  • CAP Toasted Almond- 1.3%

  • FA Vanilla Tahiti- 1.5%

Did a batch with FA Cardamom at .15%, and I’m considering ruling that out. Did a batch with 1% FE Turkish and I’m scrapping that idea as well. Might throw in a bit of FE Cigar, but I’m just not sure. Gimme 6 months or so and I’ll get it.

Just mixed up a test batch of London Haze by u/hashslingingslashur. Made one substitution and one reduction. The original recipe calls for 1.1% FA Bergamot, but I cut that to .5%. I didn’t have the JF Lemon Juicy, so I subbed in LA Lemonade @ 1%. Right away, it smells very good, and very different from my usual nutty or fruity mixes, so we’ll give it a week and see how it tastes then.

London haze-ish

(FA) Bergamot - .5% (LA) Lemonade - 1% (TPA) Marshmallow - .25% (INW) Shisha Vanilla - .75% (FA) Black Tea - 1.75%

Damn, that sounds amazing. I personally prefer fw black tea, because of the bitter sting it brings into the mix.

Definitely have to try!

I’ve never tried FW Black Tea, this is actually the first tea flavor I’ve tried out. The whole mix smells delicious ATM, the bergamot is very prominent right now. My guess is that it will sink into the rest of the mix in a few days. I’ve heard the FA version can get weird at higher percentages, is the FW the same, or is it pretty linear?

FW is definitely on the weaker side. It starts at 3% and I use it between 5-8% depending on the other flavors in the mix. It gets overpowered easily in the tea-note, but the bitterness of some Earl grey will always be there. It gets overwhelming in the 10% region.

I have the FA one too, but think it is already “bergamot”-intense. Too much for my taste :) also, check out fw green tea. Fantastic floral note, combined with a cherry or hibiscus note and sweetness just subtly blooming in your mouth :)

Sounds like a decent tweak of the recipe. The Bergamot is supposed to be prominent without being dry or overpowering, after all: Earl grey is bergamot oil over tea leaves.

Hope you enjoy it! If you ever get a chance try it with either JF or CAP juicy lemon

I definitely plan on picking up the JF Lemon Juicy in the near future, my budget just ran out before my wishlist did! Thank you for sharing this recipe for everyone to enjoy.

I mixed up the first rendition of what i hope will become a good MTL vape for me. So far it consists of:

  • LA Banana Creme 5%

  • FA Banana 2.5%

  • FLV Butterscotch 2%

  • FA Coconut 0.75%

  • FA Cuban Supreme 3.5%

made it 50/50 @ 12mg

How's the Cuban Supreme? Looking for a good tobacco flavor to go with some banana's foster type juices

I'm out of town and hoping to get home this afternoon and have time to mix version 2 of my attempt at "Granny's Carrot Crap."

Kickin' it 1950s housewife style.

I've seen online recipes for this carrot, orange Jell-O, and pineapple stuff called "Orange Carrot Gelatin Salad," "Carrot Pineapple Jello-O Salad," "Fiesta Carrot Pineapple Jell-O Salad," and "Sunshine Salad," but for as long as I can remember, in my family it's been known as "Granny's Carrot Crap."

Version 1:

  • 1.25% FLV Carrot
  • 2.25% CAP Golden Pineapple
  • 3.25% FE Sweet Orange
  • 2.5% CAP Jelly Candy
  • 0.5% TFA Dragonfruit

Was promising as far as the carrot-orange-pineapple mix, but off. That is the wrong orange for the job and that is way too much Jelly Candy.

This will probably be V2:

  • 1.35% FLV Carrot
  • 2% CAP Golden Pineapple
  • 1% INW Shisha Orange
  • 1.25% CAP Jelly Candy
  • 1% TFA Dragonfruit

This sounds very similar to something my dad’s fiancé’s mother makes called Garbage Salad. Her version contains walnuts and some kind of white stuff though.

Granny also makes a red one with canned fruit cocktail, pecans, cool whip, marshmallows, and cherry or strawberry Jell-O (she doesn't seem to care what flavor as long as its loaded with red dye). I don't eat that one.

Started making a juice then realized I just used all of a flavor I needed after I put the forest mix in 😂 had to make something up that I'm not too sure about

Berry tea cake

Cake (Yellow) (FW) %2.00

Earl Grey Tea (TPA) %0.40

Forest Mix (Forest Fruit) (FA) %4.00

Sweet Cream (FW) %1.00

Was going to use 0.70 Earl Grey but my 567 keys are broken on my laptop, 0.40 is probably more than enough.

Don't worry autobot, I'll delete this thread after it's been up for 24 hours. It says "mix of the day," not mix of week or mix of the month or mix of the permanent so I figure it hurts nothing to leave it up for a day.

This could be an interesting thing to have going on here, if it could be automated. Monthly recipe threads get a bit stale with almost no new recipes mid way through the month.

Fucking around with cereal today random mix probably be another swing and a miss can’t seem to nail down a solid all day for cereal

3% TFA fruit circles 1% FW Fruity flakes 2% CSL Fruit circles 2% ooo creamy milk undertones 2% FW meringue 1% TFA Bavarian cream 1% LA cream cheese icing .5% FA sweetener

Suggestion for your cereal, too many of them, be more concise. I would drop tfa fruit circles and bump up the cap fruit circles to 4 or 5% and also think about consolidating your creams, if you are using meringue, you probable don't need la cci and sweetener too.

Yeah done that was going for more lemon pledge not my first rodeo and I like the combo of meringue and cci but thanks for the suggestions

I haven't tried CSL Fruit Circles yet. Might be on my next order since I keep hearing good things.

It’s alright comparable to fw fruit rings wouldn’t really say it’s better to me but they are both my top two for cereal concentrates at the moment

Mixed a batch of my wife's go to:

Whipped Cream (DIYFS ) 1.5% Blackberry (FA) 0.1% Arctic Winter Menthol (FA) 1.0% Blueberry Extra (TFA ) 5.0%

Along with a test batch of:

Forest Fruit (FA) 4% Rainbow Candy (CSL) 3%

And then added Arctic Winter Menthol (FA) 1.0% to half for my wife to test.

Unfortunately, all my tanks are full so I can't taste my tester until tomorrow. 😔
