Name some flavors that mix well together that make no sense.
Grapefruit and vanilla.
Papaya and cinnamon.
Strawberry and ginger.
Pear and rosemary.
Just a couple weird ones I thought of.
Pear and rosemary has caught me by surprise in a mixed drink before, I'm definitely going to have to try throwing this together.
Try blueberry ginger and sour.
I make a blueberry shrub (a kind of pickled fruit drink) ever year when they are in season (like 2-3 whole flats of blueberries worth). It's amazing, and if you can keep from drinking it, it gives the most awesome flavor blast of summer in gray February
Mango and Violet
Banana and Clove
Pineapple and Hops
Watermelon and Cream
Orange and Rosemary
Tobacco and Rhubarb
Clove is actually the type of aroma that is in a lot of banana flavoring to make it more authentic. It's called eugenol. You can thank Id10-t for that little tidbit.
Yoghurt and tobacco.
Sounds very interesting. Wich tobacco and wich yoghurt do you use for this combination?
Custard and red bull. Seriously.
Do they make a green Red Bull flavor?
I'm really not sure what green red bull would be.... :)
Eucalyptus & Mint goes very well with orange/mandarin/grapefruit.
Also Mint + Vanilla, not sure how odd that one is though.
Anise and orange is one of my favorite oddball combos.
Yum yum.... Pluid? It was my ADV waaaay back. I've yet to find anything else like it.
Melon and cucumber. Yeah, it works. I grew tired of it a bit quickly though. The one I tried is Vape Wild Starburst.
Melon Balls takes advantage of this awesome flavor combo.
RY4 and vanilla is a decent mix, strawberry, graham crackers, and Bavarian cream has been a mix that I liked. Still trying to get a good TFA Fruit circles mix down.
I dunno if fruit circles is the same as fruit hoops by tfa but ever since someone said it tastes like lemon pledge I can’t vape it. I wish I knew a good cut wood birdbrains clone.
I vaped a few hundred mls of this. I mix 100ml for a friend every 3 weeks, like clockwork.
jasmine and cardamom
What the heck does cardamom taste like? Haha diy has really broadened my horizons on learning about how different spices taste. A year ago I would have though anise was someone's name or their sister's daughter :P
ooh I'll have to try this, I've really been enjoying FA cardamom recently. any recipe or recommendations?
Try my apricot/cardamom recipe: cotsel
I picked up the concentrates I needed for your recipe and mixed it up about a week ago. it's quite good!! very creamy and peachy with a touch of cardamom throughout. I'm normally not a big fan of fruity flavours, but I am now in love with FA Apricot and will be playing around with the apricot/cardamom pairing :)
I like lightly flavored liquid where I just get a whiff of the components (so keep that in mind).
I've been doing:
Cardamom @ .8% + Jasmine @ 2%
I have also added Clove @ .5% and FA 7 Leaves @ .3% and that works too
corn and strawberry
There was an original mix from Mount Baker Vapors waaaaaaay back in the day (like, months after they opened) that was like a lemongrass menthol something. Ingredients sounded like something you'd eat when stoned because that's all you had around.
Was pretty damn good. Kind of had a Ricola cough drop kinda vibe to it.
Pecan and lime can go together thanks to meringue. I made Key Lime Candied Pecans for /r/mixersclub and it got some positive reviews.
Lavender and Peanut Butter ;) Got the idea, and mixed it into my ice cream. Check it out here.
Lavender and dark berries like blueberry.
Hibiscus/rose/citrus
