I'd say be gentle, but naw. If there's more information i can put in, let me know.
Sniff test: it's bacon. Lick test: smoky, maple, meaty. It's Bacon.
At 1-2 percent, it's a nice accent note, little maple, lil smokey. Will blend in well with both. At 3 percent, you get a nice juicy maple flavor, hearty wood smoke, and meat. I mean, really, it's bacon. This is the kind of level where you'll go, hey, what is that? You're twigging to the fact it's bacon, but not quite there if you didn't know. At 5%, it is unquestionably bacon, but after a week of steep, the unthinkable is about to leave my fingers here. TOO MUCH BACON. Yeah, I know, but it's sadly true. I'd say maybe 4% tops.
Pairs well with: smoke, maple, bakeries, cereal. Should also pair well with apple, pineapple...probably the usual suspects you'd find on a pizza or served with ham, to be honest.
Best at around 5 days on steep, lasts about a month or so.
Run on a Dead Rabbit @ 440f dual 24g ss 10 wrap
Pairs well with cereal? I'M IN.
It's interesting that you say it pairs with verral. I am wondering if hot Ham will do the same then. Thanks for the review and now I have some more ideas.
Hm. After RF Fried Chicken I'm a little wary of savory meat flavors... especially one that OoO made considering the quality of their other flavors... But I guess i'll put this on the list.
this one, like pickle, they knocked outta the park.
Brave soul testing OoO flavors of the unknown. See, I did this, and OoO knocked my pickle in the dirt. Ever try their Peach Tobacco? I think I still need a hysterectomy after that one. OoO Oatmeal, that taste that brings you back to when meemaw would boil up some Steel Cut oats with butter, while a serial rapist is shoving Man Jam and Fish Shit™ down your throat...
You know, you're actually making me wanna try this shit, right? Mostly out of it can't be that bad syndrome, but partially out of "I can work with that". Whether it's flavored as advertised or not. Man jam and fish shit would at low percentage add the musk to an idea I have called PacMan Fever. An attempt to recreate the smell of arcades in the 80s. Blue raspberry for the spilled slushy, some smoke, and a hint of musk from all the teenagers...
Maple bacon donut and such sounds so good but so obvious. What about a bacon cinnamon roll? Do you think it would work for chocolate covered bacon? OOooooo.... How bout bacon bacco?
> Do you think it would work for chocolate covered bacon?
That's why I suggested pairing with chocolate.
Although I guess bacon chocolate milkshake also was a possibility...
I've had one of those bacon chocolate milkshakes, it was good. The PB & Bacon milkshake was even better. I have my doubts about either of those in vape form but we'll never know unless someone tries.
Agreed, but it's a needed thing for me. My local donut shop makes em, and they're always out. Needs my fix! As far as cinnamon roll...goddamnit, ID....now i gotta try that when i get more cinnamon.
If i had any chocolate, i'd test that theory. Having said that, and being a fan of the real thing, sure, can't see why it wouldn't. The bacon bacco...weeeell...hang on.
mixing some bacon in with a marlboro-esque flavor. adds a mapley hint to the smoke, and a more woody flavor to the pipe tobacco in there. the meat is buried, but hell takes a bit for that to truly show up. can't see why not!
FA Zeppola and FA Maple Syrup are your friends, maple bacon donut guy. Don’t make the cap/TFA glazed donut/Maple flavors mistake.
Actually leaning Zeppola/flv maple bar, barest hint of Toronne for crunchy flakey sugar, and wf glazed donut for main body, because glazed donut, no play-doh. Mebbe vanilla cupcake for extra body? Hopefully the donut joint has some this morning...for reference.
Should pair well with chocolate. Or apple or pineapple.
Is it more like bacon, or like bacon flavored potato chips?
I'm thinking bacon old fashioned. Bourbon, bacon, maple and a hint of orange. Maybe some brown sugar. Mmmmmm.
oh my god. i HAVE to try this. not to self, bag those soonest.
Seriously, my friggin liver just squeed.
