This isn't a clone request but more of a theory question. I want to understand more about what FA Soho is because I'd love to have other ejuice's in a similar vein to Soho. I was told once by BobbySavage (sp?) that Soho was just a lot of AP+EM, but there's got to be more right? I've mixed EM+AP together and it wasn't Soho :) I think has described it as an RY4.
From this subreddit I've come to understand these flavors are just a mixture of chemicals, nothing to do with tobacco leaves (unlike net or absolute). People describe Soho as nutty, hazelnut, vanilia, or carmel usually. My friend who only vapes Soho thinks it tastes like a 'sweet tobacco' and completely disagrees with using terms like carmel or describe it (he's also been vaping it everyday not stop so not sure if he tastes anything...)
Personally I dont know what to make of Soho. The only things I've mixed which came close for my ADV were TFA RY4D steeped for 6months (accident), TFA RY4D + AP, and Pistachio RY4 (by the diyordie guy).
I bought about 10 other 'aromatic' tobaccos and none hit the spot. I was wondering if I could buy flavors to mix up something akin to Soho but my own blend, using a very small amount of one tobacco flavor and other things like vanilia swirl, brown sugar, AP, etc? Of is this just another recipe and nothing like what makes Soho Soho?
I've heard great things about Holy Grail RY4 and I want to get some next time I make an order. Perhaps the creator of this RY4 is doing what I'd like to do? Would I be better off just buying every RY4 flavor there is to test or will they just taste basically the same?
If you do feel I could mix something up please give me an suggestions and I'll try to pick these flavors up on my next order. Otherwise I currently I have INW Am4A, SC island tobacco, and INW Captain Jack for pipe. (along with Fa soho, tfa ry4d, AP, tfa toasted marshmellow, tfa vanilia swirl, tfa brown sugar, tfa sweetener, tfa pistachio, tfa cheesecake graham crust)
I would say if you truly want to get down to the nitty gritty of creating it, you would have to get hold of the MSDS sheets. There is a dropbox somewhere, can't access discord right now for the link, that has the FA sheets. They list the ingredients with rough %'s of each chem in it. You could then compare those to other concentrates out there in terms of recreating it.
Soho to me is a cleaner RY4 than TFA RY4D. I love RY4D because of that though, it gives me that gritty feel that I enjoy. In terms of Holy Grail, this is one of the best RY4's in my opinion. It's a very clean, caramel heavy RY4. It is weak, 6% minimum in my opinion for mixing it. With holy grail, it is a blend of other concentrates though, so stacking other things on it, especially other vanillas, carmels, and brown sugar, might make it more muddy. That could result in a less than good vape.
Out of the ones you have, I have played with Captain Jack for Pipe, and this is a long way off of a Soho. Its a strong, aromatic pipe tobacco. That one is used very low, for me it's about .25% to .5% to add a nice deep pipe tobacco hint, which includes a little chocolate and nutty notes.
If you wanted to make your own, I would look at a blend of FLV red burly around .25% or .5%, FLV Cured around the same, then start throwing your sweets on it. FA Carmel, possibly TFA Caramel orig, little vanilla swirl, or for a richer vanilla; Holy vanilla. That would be my starting point at least.

I think I may have been testing my tobaccos too high because my Captain Jack for Pipe might be 2-3%. I didn't think it was bad but not an ADV that I crave. I read the flavor notes on FLV red burly and FLV cured, they both sounds really interest and maybe a great place to start for the tobacco like you recommend, I'll pick them up for sure. I think starting with a blend at small percentage and adding the sweets is exactly what I'm looking to do.
It's great to know Holy Grail RY4 is just a mix of other concentrates, that does lead me to believe I can mix up some stuff eventually, after a lot of testing, to vape alongside Soho! Soho is very weak, needing 10%+ I think for a single flavor mix, this is also what Holy Grail recommends. Does that imply anything about how it's made?

For Soho it says contains: etil maltolo CAS 49-40-11-8 conc.: 10%
It just lists ethyl maltol, when looking at FA RY4 it says the same thing but 6%. Are they not listing some ingredients or could it only be 10% ethyl maltol in pg? I'm going to keep looking thru the other flavors and see if there's an MSDS for INW because I've read S'Camel is just like Soho. If my ADV is 10-15% of a 10% EM solution that seems strange, I've always thought it was more complex.
CAS for ethyl maltol describes the taste as "Sweet, burnt cotton sugar candy like, with jammy, strawberry notes" which doesn't seem close to what people think of Soho.
I don't know if the mixing % implies anything about how its made in terms of blending or not, mainly because all the concentrates are blends of chemicals one way or another. Its more just how concentrated they are.
If the EM is all they list, then yes, they are completely leaving things out. That will change soon due to laws, but until then we are left wondering haha.

Tried JF RY4? I've only done one solo mix with it so far but it's a bit more complex with the slightest touch more of that grittiness.
I’m convinced there’s a hint of gingerbread in soho, but am prepared to admit I’m wrong. Also a lot of EM. Am following this with interest as I’d like to make something similar.
I sometimes taste something that reminds me of sweet butter or maybe a bread. I want to try some gingerbread tobacco stuff after trying a friends Halo Tiki juice a couple months ago, which tastes very gingerbready. If I find something testing with gingerbread I'll let you know.
I havent really worked with soho, but I keep hearing "This is what a ry4 should be," sooo.
I've been wanting to try https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/61825#ry55_by_chemicalburnvictim from /u/chemicalburnvictim. Haven't tried it, but I can definitely see tobacco symphony being a good place to start. I've been using it with some creamier/more desert tobacco mixes I'm trying.

Hey thanks for these recipes, they're very useful to look at the percentages used to see how they are mixing the tobaccos and sweet flavors. I was just reading about INW Vanilia for Pipe/French Pipe and put them on my list to pick up, I definitely check out tobacco symphony. The Ry55 recipe seems to have a high % tobacco where the Butteryry4 only uses about .5%, maybe it's the concentrate but I think I will start at .5% and go up from there if need be.
