I decided to mix recipes from the sidebar. I made a 30ml of kiwi cheesecake(overnight steep to 3 days) and a 30ml of TheCatHimself (no steep)
I've only tried the kiwi cheesecake, and while I'm not getting a lot of kiwi from it, its still not bad.
I'm wondering, do you steep any shake n vape mixes you come across?
Also I mix in this order, nic, flavors,vg then pg. Does the nicotine mix with a couple shakes or should I worry about hot spots.
Edit: I'm using 100mg/ml 100%vg nicotine.
Personally all bakeries 3-4 weeks
The kiwi cheesecake isn't bad with with less then 24hr steep. I'm vaping it right now but it could be better and will go back into the drawer for a proper steep.
See I can’t view the sidebar cuz I’m on my phone, but I’ll take a look
Everything steeps with time. I like to make a recipe and then hit it right away, after 24 hours, after a few days, after 1 week, after two weeks, after three weeks and then free game after that. That's why I'll make three or four at a time at least. Preferably with similar ingredients to compare flavors and watch tendencies and differences. I don't have the best pallet to begin with so I like to cover my bases. Some shit just tastes crazy good after a month for some reason. Some stuff fades in two weeks in my opinion.
My pallet is kinda shit as well. But I'm impatient and want to vape my mixes immediately. I know I need to wait to make sure I get the best experience.
I wanted to vape Bee's Knees from The sauce LA yesterday but had to tell myself to wait. It has only steeped for a week and I didn't want to rewick my RTA twice if the orange hadn't settled since citrus gives me TOO much throat hit if not settled.
Mabye you should not do DIY then. As much as people will tell you, there is no such thing as a SNV.
EDIT: downvoted for using science. Cool story bro. Didn't know molecules move that fast in our reality.
I had one guy ask for a recipe, and later that day he commented on it being tasty... and it's something that I personally would let sit overnight at least. Then again, non-bakery non-cream/custard non-tobacco recipes don't usually require much of a steep if any. Unless you use Lemon Sicily, and then you want a good 12-24 hours for the lemon pledge to fade.
I don’t know about TheCatHimself, but the cheesecake probably isn’t a shake and vape. All I can find is a user by the name of TheCatHimself.
Your nicotine should be shaken the hell out of, and then shaken even more before you use it. If you don’t, those hotspots are already present in your mix and the concentration will probably be off. Mixing order is irrelevant.
These are questions better suited to the New Mixer Thread.
Kiwi Cheesecake
3%(TPA)Cheesecake (graham Crust)

2.75% (TPA)Pineapple
2.5% (TPA)Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
Wait, during the mixing process when should we shake the bottles? I typically just wait until everything is in the same container and shake for a minute; then I just store It somewhere dark and cool.
Every component should be shaken prior to using it. Especially the nicotine. And then your mix should be shaken in the bottle.
Anything with only fruit is usually a pretty good shake and vape. The classic Nana cream clone for example. I found this recipe called tiki punch I think a while ago that is amazing. Probs my new favorite over the Nana cream.

I must be an Idiot. I can't find these recipes anywhere.
I like to shake it pretty good then let it sit.
I steep everything I mix for one month. If it tastes fine as a shake and vape but gets muted in one month that's a problem. If it tastes good after a month of steeping it's a keeper. I don't even bother testing every day, there's no point. If something tastes great on day one and just ok on week two it's no good. The goal here is to make juice that lasts, something that can replace the bottles of premium juice in my drawer. I don't want to mix up 500ml of something that only lasts two weeks.
