So, you ordered some supplies on the Black Friday / Cyber Monday weekend - the busiest time of the year for every damn vendor on earth - and wonder why your $50 order isn't at your doorstep yet?
WE
DON'T
CARE
AND
THERE
IS
NO
ONE
IN
THIS
SUB
WHO
CAN
DO
A
DAMN
THING
ABOUT
IT.
Take it up with the vendor, but STOP posting your customer service problems here. They WILL be deleted.
What nerve! I demand to speak to your manager, son.
YOU can speak to THIS!

How did you get yours so quickly? I've been waiting for literally days for my order. Why can't you make it be here now?
nothing about this is friendly, but thanks for reminding me of what a gigantic, bothersome, idiotic turd i am. also thanks for reminding me why every online community i try to be a part of eventually alienates me. the lack of compassion and empathy on here in regards to micro-annoyances is astounding and there is so much ego invested in the way this sub is moderated sometimes that i've started to back away even tho i've only been mixing and contributing here for less than a year.
i get that the internet is not a prayer meeting, it is a jungle, and no one is obligated to be nice to anyone. but it sucks feeling like i've tried to do things the right way and just still manage to not fit in. maybe this is more of a personal problem than anything, and reflects my problem with accepting that i've made others unhappy. i take things too personally sometimes and i know that's on me. anyway. i just wanted friends who mix because i have only 1 in real life- people to talk to who encounter the same issues, be it with recipes, supplies, or vaping in general. idk. maybe i'm in the wrong place and maybe it's my fault.
I've seen your contributions... they're solid. This post had nothing to do with you.
thanks. that means a lot.
i'm genuinely curious about all the upvotes the copypasta question is getting because if someone else has at some point said the same exact thing somewhere i'd be interested to see it/meet someone who is as much of a piss baby as i am. maybe we can learn from each other, idk. the whole "not a prayer meeting, it's a jungle" came from a story my dad told me about hearing a homeless man yelling about a friend of his (another homeless person, i'm assuming) who had just realized someone stole his belongings. this happened well over 15 years ago, when the mcwane center was being built downtown birmingham. maybe this phrase is what's sticking out as familiar.
Hey, i just wanted to say that I'm sorry you are having a tough time. Sometimes it helps to go out and do something for someone else. Go help in a food kitchen or go walk dogs at a shelter. Read stories to kids at the library. Just do something. Get out of your head. If all else fails, mix your favorite recipe! You're ok however you are and however you look.
The sidebar is like the reddit version of an automated phone customer service menu. It probably has the info you need, but sometimes you'd just rather speak to an actual person.
i've always used the side bar. i've so rarely made an actual post here- even with small questions i just post them in the weekly new mixers thread. i comment in the monthly recipe thread. and i posted a limp wristed, half hearted complaint on the black friday thread under the gremlin sale comment about not getting any shipment info. idk man. maybe i'm just having a bad day. i feel bad about even saying anything here already.
at this point i feel like i just look and sound like a crybaby. i'm just sensitive and it's gross. i'm turning 32 in 2 days and i'm having some sort of shallow crisis about my looks and aging and i hate my job and i'm not having any serious problems other than 1st world problems and i feel bad about complaining about them.
Gremlin got 200-300, if not more, orders in for black friday as they had the best discount out of all the vendors. Sucks waiting but that is a hell of a undertaking to fulfill all those orders with just a few people to help.
Don't take the people in this sub so personal.
The sidebar is more like the mom and pop who made their own website. =/
And the mom and pop get angry when you say you looked at the website but couldn't find what you were looking for and just wanted to talk directly to a person.
And when that mom and pop only caters to the regulars while scaring off the new customers, then what happens? The regulars eventually die off and mom and pop are left with nothing. I'm not saying that being a lazy fuck and not trying to find answers for yourself is a good thing - obviously it's not - but the belly-aching and the militant attitude towards the noobs is a little off-putting.
Is this a copypasta? It feels like a copypasta.
just had to google that term- no. it's not. but yeah, doesn't feel great to know people seem to think this is something i say over and over. i just looked back thru my comment history and don't see anything to that effect. i'm not sure what hurtful way you meant this, but i guess it doesn't matter.
this fucker has copy/pasted what i said to r/copypasta because he/she's a goddamn sociopath with the inability to empathize or care about other people's feelings. A++, good job being a piece of shit.
You gotta realize that the majority of people aren't assholes but the assholes stick out. You've gotten several supportive comments and one asshole, but you're focused on the asshole. I get it. I get deppressed, my dad, brother, mom, and only daughter all died tragic deaths. When I'm in the darkness, it's hard to see any light. Just focus on the good and ignore the assholes on the internet. In real life, you can respond to assholes. Assholes on the internet are cowards who get off on reactions though, don't give them any. Knowing it bothers you will just encourage them. You're being introspective, which is great. When somebody treats you like shit, you don't owe them explanations though. Just quietly look at your actions, and if you didn't instigate it, ignore them and move on. Focus on the good, there's a lot more than you're able to see right now.
Here's a sneak peek of /r/copypasta using the top posts of the year!

I honestly don't get why some people are just assholes. Either way, when someone behaves like that to me, I can honestly think of nothing else but misery at the centre of that person's life. Only unhappy, envious people + sociopaths + psychopaths would rather be malicious enough to want to make someone cry by being hurtful rather than making someone smile by being comforting or helpful.
But it's the Internet and it can do two things: Inspire the best in you or the worst in you. Not everyone is good and equal. Some people are just toxic. That's why places like r/incel existed.
In defense of the people posting this type of content, it tends to work. I've had issues with vendors whom ignored my emails, but were quick to resolve my issue after a public tweet or FB status.
Companies do not want a bad reputation out there and sadly enough the more followers you have on a social media the faster they are to help, and in some cases, give free stuff for a chance to get a good public post afterwards.
This happened to me with Northland Vapor some time ago.
I agree with OP though as this isn't social media and this subreddit is mostly for handchecks and n00b questions. Whoever has a complaint has more chances of getting feedback on ecr's subreddit.
The God Mod makes a good point. I made 3 orders over the weekend. I got my nic from Vapers Tek already, but I'm still waiting on Bull City and Gremlin, as I figured on doing. I'm not sweating it, I know damn well they are busy.
> The God Mod
Can I make this my flair?
It's so much better than /u/id10-t calling me "senior mod".
Is there a list of recommended vendors for 100 mg Nicotine in VG? I cannot find it- if it exists. I don't know where to post- to ask but i assume if people are DIYing their own juice they must have a source for their nicotine.
MY OREDER ARRIVIED! - I think it only took 8 days- manager had it in her office. I think it was the Post Office- yesterday it still said "pre-shipment." This also happened with another one of my order from Black Friday. Concerning Nude- Besides the refund i will be getting- b/c the flavors are no longer carried- THey said one of them but none of them arrived- BUt that is pretty good- only 8 days! ANd i ordered on black friday! ANyway- the VG nic is very good. I read about people storing it in the freezer- I will do that. For 8--9 yr's i never did that. SO all's well- Thanks for everyones responses to my crisis.
Use the New Mixer's Questions thread, stickied at the top of the page. There's also the sidebar and search function. My 2 cents, VG nicotine is pretty hard to work with, and you'll be a lot more likely to end up with hot spots where the nicotine is more concentrated. For the little bit you're going to be adding to a mix, I'd suggest PG nic.
Whatever you do, DO NOT order from Nude Nicotine.
lol-i already ordered- on black friday- but i can't use vg. .I don't mind the thickness of PG. B/c I hate PG. It tastes bitter to me. IDK why. I have used VG for 9 yr's. 100 mg. BUt another guy on here said Nude was OK- just took a long time. That is who i have used the past 2 yr's. I did have a good vendor but IDK what happened to him.- SO i switched to Nude. SInce i only order once in a blue moon- I forgot about the delay with Nude. But Thank you for responding!
I don't see the "New Mixer's guide." but i will look again. I hope my order from Nude and the other vendor recommended comes soon. If i see no movement on Monday- I will order from Ecig Express which someone else recommended. I just gotta get away from this PG. I think my taste buds are just weird. I only liked 2 brand sof cig's too. Vantage Ultra Light- and then Marlboro VIrginia BLend but before FSC. THat is why i hardly smoke anymore- i wish they would take out FSC. I buy American Spirit but i sure loved to smoke and looked foreward to a cup of coffee and cigarette every day. Before they dumped FSC in them. That totally changed the taste for me.
In my defense for my post, I was overcharged for a specific "free" item in an ECX order, and I made the post mainly because I was afraid others might have been overcharged for the same item as well. Is that type of post ok?
Yours was not the only one; we have had many people complaining about orders in the past few weeks. We were just clarifying that this is not the place to make complaints that should be directed at vendors. We have over 35000 subscribers, and our focus is to help people make better juice. I could have been more subtle in my post, but man after deleting so many similar posts I kind of snapped. Apologies for my rude post, but judging by the votes many of our subscribers are frustrated as well.
Yeah I get what you mean entirely. I became a mod for a relatively small subreddit (/r/PCMasterRace back when it had ~4,000 subs), and I really enjoyed it until we hit around 150,000 and it started to delve into unpaid side job territory. I ended up resigning when the subreddit hit around 270,000 subs.
Looking at the moderator list now it seems like there is only one guy left from my mod days there excluding Pedro.
maybe a bitching megathread would be better than this?
i don't have a vendor complaint to make but this seems unnecessarily harsh. i'm sure even the vendors would like to see what people are saying and possibly respond.
Vendors would like to see what their people are saying through direct contact. The ‘contact us’ option on their sites truly serve a purpose. I promise.
^^ This.
There isn't a single bagel shop in New York that goes to the park to find out who's unhappy with their poppyseed purchase. If you find a nail in your Big Mac, do you really think the library gives a damn?
Outside of the one post about the free Jungle Flavors pack not being free in some orders, all I've seen here is people complaining about orders not shipping when they'd like them to. Which, outside of being petty solipsist bullshit, is better served by emailing the vendor themselves, who has a vested interest in being nice when they tell them to fuck off and wait their turn.
they'd like that also. but any business with a clue knows the value of seeing what people are saying about them on social media.
They sure do, which is why many of them have user accounts which visit here, along with Facebook groups and twitter feeds. Which are probably barren when it's all hands on deck to fulfill orders.
If you're coming onto a place to complain about slow orders at the busiest time of year for them, and putting it someplace the small business has to work to get to while simultaneous fulfilling a massive wall of orders, then at that point you might have an issue with empathy and/or creating a solid plan to get your complaints answered.
And we've dealt with this ever since the internet got on board with Black Friday. Any business with BF sales, but especially the very small ones we're talking about, will have much longer order fulfillment times. They put banners on their site saying as much, and it's not a new thing. There is no valuable info gained by vendors seeing that yes, indeed, BF orders do in fact take longer to process. The USPS is also swamped which means that Priority shipping that might normally only take 3 days now takes the whole 5.
Emails to the vendor will also have a higher turnaround everyone is busy filling orders. A lot of posts were just "I ordered and it's taking longer than normal, where is my order"? That's not feedback, but a question nobody here can answer well enough to satisfy somebody who doesn't anyway understand why getting 10* normal sales will burden any business. The trade-off for good deals is longer wait times.
If the feedback is truly only for the business' benefit, then it would always be better to tell them directly. These aren't reviews, recommendations, or warnings not to shop there, but questions (we can't answer) and complaints(we can't fix). These posts are a mix of ignorance (lack of knowledge) about how BF sales disrupt a business, and impatient assholes who think "shaming" the vendor on Reddit will make their order show up quicker.
