Hey everyone! Ive been hard at work trying to produce my next ADV - lots of mediocre and even some total shit recipes but I came up with two that im stoked on, and wanted to share! They are still in development but are really quite tasty as they are right now. If anyone has any suggestions or input on how i can make them more authentic/more tasty, i am all ears! I like to write down as much as possible when developing recipes, just in case i need to go back and reference anything... so sorry if this post seems a bit long winded. I am also only a few months into doing DIY seriously, so if there is anything that seems off or misguided, please let me know so i can learn!

Flavor Description:

Ok so this is one i havent seen around so far, so i wanted to take a (noobie) shot at recreating it in a vape. Raffaello's are probably one of my all time favorite confection, they are just so damn perfect. The thin wafer shell coated in a sweet milk kind of cream with little flakes of sugary coconut, on the inside of the wafer shell there is a buttery, smooth, light but rich cream that is just unreal. Buried in the creamy center lies a full almond, which just pairs perfectly with the other flavor notes! If you havent tried one in real life yet i highly recommend it, they are just perfect, its like a kinder bueno on steroids and without chocolate! I bought some for a reference while blueprinting this recipe, the main notes i was after was the nice crunchy wafer sphere, the buttery, smooth and delicious cream inside, the coconut outside and the almond inside.

• FA Almond - 1%
• INW Biscuit - 1%
• FA Coconut - 2.5%
• FA Cookie - 1.5%
• FA Cream Fresh - 1%
• FA Meringue - 1.5%
• INW Shisha Vanilla - 1.25%
• Additives - 2 drops CAP Super sweet per 30ml, 1 drop AP per 30ml

Flavor Notes:

• FA ALMOND - Used as the main almond flavoring in the mix. Trying to use it to emulate the almond in the core of the Raffaello
• INW BISCUIT - This is being used in conjuntion with FA cookie to create the night light crunchy wafer sphere, also brings some nice butter notes to the recipe
• FA Coco (coconut) - the coconut note of the recipe, this one is a bit more realistic and more along the lines of what im going for in this mix. This will be trying to emulate the flakes of coconut that are covering the outside of the Rafaello.
• FA Cream Fresh - This one is being used to help back up the creamy notes and prevent the mix from becoming tooo dry. Help contribute to the creamy whipped cream kind of core.
• FA Meringue - Used to sweeten up the recipe, bring some dairy notes, and make the whipped cream center a nice fluffy sweet vanilla cream.
• INW Shisha Vanilla - Using as the main vanilla note, its a bright delicious vanilla which is exactly what im after in this recipe.
• Additives - 2 drops Super Sweet per 30ml

• Tasting notes Dec 6th: Wow, this is actually starting to get really really tasty. Seems like i got lucky with the cream side of things, because it is tasting very similar to a real Raffaello. the bakery/wafer notes seem like they need to be more prominent, or maybe just need some more time to settle in with the creams. I get a nice smooth coconut texture, but i think this recipe could use a bit more coconut. Same goes for the almond, which i am considering adding some marzipan or maybe just subbing all together.
• Tasting Notes Dec 8th: Very similar in flavor to my dec 6th tasting notes, creams are more pronounced and there is a bit more bakeryness to it, but still feel like i can rework it to get a bit more authentic, especially in terms of bringing out the almond and coconut notes more.

V2 Changes:

Wanted more coconut notes and also more almond notes. Decided to try and add some FA marzipan in hopes it will boost both flavorings. Also raised coconut a little bit as well, since its supposed to be a main note in this recipe. Also wanted some more separation in the layers, in hopes i can get a nice creamy feeling (which is how v1 was) but also have a layer of delicious buttery wafer as well. Decided to add a little bit of TFA Graham cracker clear in hopes this will help. If you have any suggestions on how i can take this recipe to another level, please chime in and let me know! Intro:

Went to the vape shop today and bit the bullet, spending $34 on a 60ml of premium juice for #remixmonth. Vaped it for a few hours now on my entheon rda and came up with this concept recipe. Right off of a shake and vape its actually pretty nice, but im interested to see how things fall into place after a steep. I wanted to start out simple with this recipe and work from there. I normally wouldnt release a recipe right after my first mixed batch (and without a steep) but i wanted to leave this one public since its remix month, and will develop it publicly, adding as much dev notes as i can.

Tasting Notes: S&V Initial concept recipe mixed on Dec 7th

Right now im getting a smooth and somewhat buttery peach with a grainy bakery note in it. Seems kind of close to the recipe im trying to remix in some ways, but there is for sure some stuff i will need to tweak in the near future. Will be honing this recipe over the month and will hopefully end up with something close to the original juice. Where it stands right now, i actually kind of like my recipe right off of a shake and vape more than the actual graham mother, it has a warmer kind of vibe to it. Graham mother is quite nice as well though, but is a more delicate kind of flavor - which im gonna try and work this recipe towards.

 

Flavor Notes:

• TFA Bavarian Cream - Using this one mainly as an emulcifier and to add a bit extra creamy warmness to the recipe. For more authenticity to the recipe im trying to remix, I think i might need to swap this with fresh cream or a different lighter cream in the future
• TFA Cheesecake Graham Crust - Using this one for its sweet creamyness and also to help back up the graham cracker notes in this recipe. Seemed like a good fit with its very faint coconut notes, graham notes, and sweet creamy notes.
• FA Coconut - I feel like this might actually be the coconut flavoring used in graham mother, or maybe im wrong... I felt this would work best out of the concentrates i currently have. Might try and layer this with TFA coconut candy, because i think im tasting some of that in the actual Graham mother juice i have here with me.
• TFA Graham Cracker Clear - Main graham cracker note, just a nice bakery flavoring. Not too sure if this is the actual one that is used in the recipe im trying to emulate, seems a bit too buttery and warm compared to the orignal recipe. Might try swapping it out for FLV graham cracker or layering with FA cookie or FLV Graham Cracker
• FA Pear - Main juicy pear note, its the only one i have currently but it is delicious and tastes very similar to the pear note in Graham Mother.
• Additives - Added 1 drop CAP super sweet and 1 drop of Acetyl Pyrazine to my first mixed batch.

I usually don't post recipes, mainly because my pallet is shot to shit. My best recipes are usually 3-5 ingredients, 12%-16%. And I can TASTE them, not imagine what they taste like.

This recipe is a simple rhubarb/raspberry muffin crisp. I've been chasing this profile for quite a while, with lackluster results. I took inspiration for this version from a thread somewhere online, and now I'm not sure where. Even though the other recipe used only 2 of the ingredients (Meringue and Rich Cinnamon), I still feel I owe credit where it is due.

The trouble with this recipe was finding a decent muffin base that didn't require 3 ingredients on it's own. Enter FLV Lembas Bread. A great, full muffin that is a great neutral start, if a bit dry. Call in TFA Butter. ABSOFUCKINGLUTELY PERFECT playmate for Lembas Bread. Provides richness, and anchors the base of the recipe. Plus dem 'ketones nukka.

The brown sugar works in 2 seperate aspects in this recipe. Adding moistness and sweetness to the base, as well as working with the Meringue and Rich Cinnamon to create the "crisp". I think people underestimate the textural effects Rich Cinnamon. The flavor is obviously great, but it can add a fresh-baked feel to many bakeries at extremely small percentages.

The fruit portion satisfies two requirements for me. #1, figure out a way to use the may-be-stronger-than-betahydroxymethylfentanyl substance known as INW Rhubarb, and utilize a combination that doesn't rely on sweetness for flavor, and will not fade with time. Trying to find a Raspberry to work with INW Rhubarb was tough-INW's offering is much too similar as it is quite tart to me on it's own. TFA's tastes like grass clippings, CAP's was close, but didn't quite punch through or hold up to a steep well enough.

FA Berryl (Raspberry) ended up the only one besides MF that had the flavor I wanted, and the necessity of a 20 fortnight steep took the MF off the table. From there, it was just trial and error to figure out relative strengths of the 2 fruits after a week steep, knowing the INW Rhubarb HAD to stay @0.3% or lower. I tested the Raspberry @ 1%, 1.5%, 2%, and 2.5% with 2% being the magic number. Any higher and it takes over the muffin base, any lower and the Rhubarb buries it like it was gonna testify.

The FLV Cream helps round the whole thing off with more moisture and mouthfeel and blah blah blah blah. That shit is just excellent, put it in errthang, ya dig? Hopefully if you mix it, you'll like it, and leave some feedback. Quite decent SnV, but like anything, a few days to round out makes it all that much better

With that said I just realized it's the first of the month. Fuck. I could care less about the upvote shit, and I was trying to put this in at the end of the month, because I hate how this thread gets 100 replies in the first 4 days, then maybe 1 or 2 Mother Milk clones the rest of the time. Well, here's to using my knuckles to remember what months have 31 days! Enjoy!

/u/chewymidget and me traded out a few FLV flavors recently, and I have finally discovered the joy of Milk Chocolate. For those who are skeptical of chocolate, FLV has some nice ones that you have to try to believe.

This one is a couple more flavors more than I usually use, but each one is necessary, especially the sweetener. It is pretty much the milk at the bottom of a bowl of chocolate cereal. 2 week steep is best.

This is the Tripoli tribute I came up with for the October clone challenge. I posted it in that thread, but I figured I’d put it here too just cuz. Last night I finally tried Tripoli, and my recipe is very much not it. It’s got more of a sweet dessert tobacco vibe, whereas mine is more of a spiced tobacco thing. So don’t go mixing this up hoping for a Tripoli clone, because you will be mighty disappointed. If I had to try to make the real Tripoli, I’d probably start off with something like 1.5% FE Turkish or FE Cigar with 2% TFA RY4 Double, and then build off of that. I tried a little something last night, and what I mostly got out of that was that FLV Fig at .5% is a tad too sweet and prominent. So probably don’t try it with FLV Fig.

But anyway, there’s my tribute to it. Again, not close to a clone! Just a similar profile.

Hey guys, me again.

I'm not sure what's actually going on in this recipe, but each ingredient works in cohesion with every other. I'll try to explain my concentrate choices.

TFA Vanilla Bean Gelato — while actually reminding gelato it is a nice smooth vanilla without peppery note. It is sweet and milky which helps to balance out the lemongrass while keeping things vanilla and creamy at the same time.

FA Meringue — used here as a powdered sugar, helps with sweetness, mouthfeel and that "sugar lips" effect that makes you crave for one more hit.

INW Strawberry Shisha — sweet jammy strawberry. Even though many of you thinks that 1.66% is a lot for this aroma fear not, it will be supressed by lemongrass, so 1.66% is just enough. Blends nicely with gelato as a filling.

FLV Lemon Grass — the star and the god of this recipe. Yes, 0.25% is plenty. It reminds fruit circles, lemon zest and lemon candy alltogether while keeping it's own identity. Helps strawberry with it's tart note. Works extremely well with VBG.

CAP Super Sweet — while being optional it seems to make taste better overall. Candies are sweet, you know. Besides that it really helps strawberries.

Recipe is good as shake and vape, but keeps changing through steep into more milky and strawberry version of itself.

Try it. It is delicious and uncommon, and I think those of you who have sweet teeth would like it. And those who haven't may find it interesting as well.

This is a donut with the pink frosting (Homer Simpson's favorite). It's a pretty simple recipe and uses all common flavors except for RF Frosted Animal Cookie SC.

 

CAP Glazed Donut, CAP Vanilla Cupcake, FA Cookie: The donut base. I luckily don't get the "play-doh" taste from CAP Glazed Donut, so it's quickly become my preferred donut flavoring. But it's not used at a super-high concentration, so it still might work for you even if you are one of the people that get this off flavor from it. Small amounts of CAP Vanilla Cupcake and FA Cookie are just there to support the CAP Glazed Donut.

RF Frosted Animal Cookie SC, TPA Whipped Cream, FA Meringue, TPA Strawberry Ripe: These make up the pink frosting, and RF Frosted Animal Cookie pretty much spot-on nails this flavor. I don't get much of a cookie flavor from this, to me it's all frosting. It's strong, so you might want to drop this one down to 1.25–1.5% if you don't want the donut drenched in frosting like I do.

The other flavors just round things out a bit. The TPA Whipped Cream and TPA Strawberry Ripe adds a bit of extra sweetness, without getting cloying or even having any noticeable strawberry flavor due to the low percentage. And FA Meringue just coats everything in that sugary glaze it mimics so well.

This recipe started out extremely simple – just 4.25% CAP Glazed Donut and 1.5% RF Frosted Animal Cookie SC. And just those two flavors gets it over 90% there. In fact, if I'm in a rush and need to whip up a batch of juice as quickly as possible, that is what I often find myself making. The simple version works as a shake and vape, unlike the full recipe which needs several days before becoming its best.

The other flavors were added in one by one, and are really just accents and enhancers.

There's nothing particularly new going on here since this recipe is kind of a remix of Vurve's Birthday ice cream Cake (https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/16823) which I completly adore. I'm still learning the ropes but thought this was worth sharing.

Cake Base: The usual suspects, JF Yellow Cake and CAP Vanilla Cupcake.

Ice cream layer : ID10-T's magic formula, HS French Vanilla ice cream (0.5%) and LB vanilla ice cream (4.5%). This has been slightly thickened up and emulsified with Favorah Cream.

Accents: I'm not a huge fan of banana but I love a hint of it in juices. LA Banana cream provides a hint of candy/ taffy banana, as if the ice cream has ripples of banana syrup through it. However, FLV Milk and Honey does some magic here and combines with the banana to give the ice cream cake a lovely warm, slight boozy sweetness. TFA Toasted Marshmallow was added for mouthfeel but also to provide some brown sugar sweetness. And that's it! I'm sure more experienced mixers could do much more with far less ingredients than I have used here but the recipe tastes quite good as it stands.

While others were scrambling with just a week to put together a #TheChristmasMix recipe for a charity event, I just added some BS to my description of a recipe that I'd been working on for months to feebly attempt to tie it in to the holiday season somehow. There was no prize for best recipe or anything like that, but considering it would be still measured against others that had only days for development, I cheated. I am a bad person.

But on the upside, it's a good recipe, if this sort of thing appeals to you, not some thrown together stuff.

This one brought me back to something I haven't done in a several months, batching out several different versions at once and testing them side by side to determine which ones would move forward for further revision and which ones were mistakes. Before this, I'd taken a break from batching, and all of my recipe development was linear - mix, taste, revise, repeat - on at a time. Rather than mix five different versions and pick the best two, mix five different versions of those two, and so forth.

TLDR; Lots of work went into this, and I should be flogged for cheating instead of actually coming up with a last-minute #TheChristmasMix.

Are notes required? Everything is pretty Duh and well known and stolen from other great recipes (the coconut combo from Leche De Coco) etc etc. Feel free to add more Super Sweet if that's your thing.

If you like white chocolate and coconut you should try it. Creamy and tasty.

Tfa vanilla bean ice cream 3% Flv boysenberry 3% Tfa strawberry ripe 0.75%

Boysenberry ripple ice-cream.

Steep for 5 days. It's a super simple recipe. I added the strawberry just to brighten the berry flavour - it hides in the background and makes the boysenberry stand out from the ice cream.

Blackberry Milk Tea

OOO Milk Tea 2%

OOO Cream (Milky Undertone) 1%

FLV Vanilla Pudding 3%

If you like berries, grab OSDIY's Blackberry. Fairly authentic with a really mild candy undertone. It is VG-based so I'd allow the whole thing at least a week steep.

With the annual decadence and indulgence feasts only round the corner, I have made a recipe that is both refreshing and light.

I made this recipe because I find it difficult to puff on sickly dessert flavours after a blowout meal and a crate of wine.

Personally, I have never really let a recipe steep for more than a couple of days and never had a problem.

I did, because it's cold, put the finished article in the airing cupboard for half hour then take it out for a run with me, so it had time to thin and then get a vigorous shake.

Would love it if someone else could make this recipe and give some feedback.

Here is my second version of my Graham Mother Remix. Imo im starting to get pretty close to the original juice but would love some second opinions on percentages and stuff like that. Feels like im still missing something, just cant seem to put a finger on what it is... Might be TFA Coconut Candy, that concentrate seems to be crossing my mind quite a bit. Anyways, heres my current rendition of my remix:

Flavor notes:

• TFA Cheesecake Graham crust - Using this one to add some extra creamy elements to the recipe. Also has some graham notes so that will help back up the graham cracker flavor in this mix. This concentrate is said to have some slight coconut notes so that might help out the coconut notes in the recipe(i havent noticed coconut notes from this concentrate personally, but i dont think my pallet is as distinguished as others, regardless, it seemed like a good fit for this recipe)

• FA Coconut - This one is the main coconut. It seemed to be struggling to push through on my first batch so i raised its percentage a bit in this changed batch. Might end up adding some TFA coconut candy if its not strong enough after this juice steeps.

• FA Cream Fresh - Using this to help add some mouth feel and creamyness without affecting the other flavors in the recipe or weighing the recipe down too much. The authentic graham mother is a creamy juice, but it is also kind of delicate and fresh at the same time.

• TFA Graham Cracker Clear - In my first mix i was using this one as the main graham note, although it tasted pretty good, i dont think it was the right one for this particular job. I still wanted to have it around to back up the graham notes, so i let it take a back seat and lowered it to 1.5%. It brings some nice grainy notes to the table, which i think helps out the overall graham flavor of the recipe.

• FLV Graham Cracker - Trying to use this one as the main graham note in this new batch. Not very experienced with this concentrate but from what little experience i do have, it seemed like it could work nicely for this application. It seems like a bit less heavy and less in your face compared to TFA's graham cracker clear.

• FA Kiwi - Here is where things start getting crafty (imo). So just by chance, i was vaping a different recipe where i used FA Kiwi as a main note in a simple mix. After vaping it and then going and vaping my authentic graham mother juice, i noticed it has some similar qualities. My first batch felt close in regard to the pear notes, but seemed like it was missing something. Kiwi might be the ticket.

• FLV Pastry Zest - Kinda felt a bit experimental and decided to add a little bit of this for some extra complexity. I was thinking the citrus zest might help bring some brightness to the pear notes. This also has a bit of spice notes to it, which can help out the FLV graham cracker. I also get a bit off a doughy/pastry note from this, and thought that might make things a bit interesting. Seems to have worked decently, but i might make a batch and exclude this flavoring to see if its even necessary.

• Fa Pear - Pretty obvious why i use this concentrate, its the main pear note of the recipe and its a damn good pear concentrate. I also believe this might be the concentrate used in the authentic graham mother recipe... but we will never know for sure.

My first attempt at a recipe.

(Poorly done) notes:

• Apricot: This is meant to be the top note, but on its own the apricot flavour doesn't really shine...

• Peach (juicy): ...and this is where the peach comes in to round off the apricot profile.

• Fuji: Adds a bit more bite and flavour to the combination of apricot and peach.

• Cream fresh: One of the few creams I like (not that I've tried very many), this adds some weight and sweetness to the recipe without imparting too much of its own tangential flavour. I tried VBIC initially, but man that stuff is strong. Even at a really low percentage it's basically all I can taste.

• Marshmallow: Mostly for added sweetness, to help bolster the cream, and also because I like the taste.

• Cardamom: The real star! I love cardamom, but this is pretty much the highest I could go without making it "The Cardamom Show, with maybe some other stuff somewhere. Maybe." I think the combination of apricot and cardamom works really well. Also, cardamom, because I feel like I haven't typed cardamom enough.

Would absolutely love some feedback and suggestions on how to improve this. Maybe let it steep for a day or two.

Steep a week at least

Tastes the way some Turkish blending tobacco smells. It actually tastes pretty damn close to the NET I made with said Turkish Tobacco. It’s slightly sweet and spiced tobacco leaf. I tried to keep the percentage pretty low since the original idea was for it to be something like a stone, so it can easily be built on top of. I actually enjoy it a whole lot just by itself, so I haven’t even played around with adding stuff to it.

Winter is here! A time that is cherished by many.

Quintessential flavors to the season are peppermint and nutmeg, but you don't often see them paired together. In my venture exploring this combination, it is pleasant, satisfying, and a little odd!

The star of the show here is LB White Chocolate Peppermint -- this flavor is just wonderful and so easy to work with. It's a delicious smooth and creamy white chocolate with a very subtle and sweet peppermint. While the peppermint is nice it wasn't quite as forward as I wanted it to be, hence the addition of FLV Peppermint. It's a very strong, forward, thin peppermint, and is quite cool.

When you think nutmeg, you think eggnog (well, at least I do!). FLV Eggnog captures the essence of nutmeg very well while giving it a nice creamy base so it's not too dry. This is almost good enough by itself, but the addition of FLV Peppermint cuts through a lot of the creamy body you'd get from FLV Eggnog, so a little extra eggy boost from CAP Vanilla Custard for unctuous warmth does wonders here.

TFA Graham Cracker Clear is here for a little bit of dark sweetness and to play off some of the vanilla notes already in there, as well as giving the recipe some texture to keep your palate entertained.

I've been working an a 1:1 clone of "Milk of the Poppy" by Blue Dot Vapors for months and still haven't nailed it down. This doesn't have any ingredients in common with that. Instead, it's a complete reimagining of the same profile as an all-Inawera recipe instead of what I very strongly suspect is an all-Capella concoction. It's a sweet vanilla custard topped with sweet strawberry, dragonfruit flavor that comes in second to the strawberry but isn't just a subtle amount, and a lil hint of sweet citrus. So all of these ingredients speak for themselves except the Cherimoya, which is used to tie the fruits and custard together.

The trouble with trying to clone Milk of the Poppy is that each version needs to steep for a month before testing. This remix, however, only needs to rest overnight. Also unlike actual Blue Dot Milk of the Poppy and my way- to slightly-off clone attempts, I think I might be addicted to it.

If you don't have INW Shisha Orange, don't buy it just for this. Instead, try an equal amount of FA, FW, or FLV Blood Orange, CAP Sweet Tangerine, TFA Orange Cream, FE Sweet Orange (my favorite), or any other tangerine or orange flavor you happen to have on hand. Anything to give it just slightest hint of orange.

1.5% INW AM4A
1% FW Caramel Candy
I really like this recipe a lot. Leather, tobacco, hints of vanilla, and candy slightly creamy caramel.
3.5% Western allows it to be on at the forefront but not entirely takeover the recipe. I keep AM4A at 1.5% (up from 1%) because it is strong and starts to get pungent higher than that. I've been leaning on FW CC more than FA Caramel lately as I like the candy-like qualities and overall strength and body more. I hope you guys like it.

A small disclaimer: I have a somewhat botched sense of smell (psychosomatic, tested and proved) so take my flavour notes with a grain of salt. I smell most of the edible smells but there still can be something I've missed.

Overall it's a moderately sweet citrusy vape with heavier woody & alcoholic tone from the Red Oak, and Peppermint gives it fresh and somewhat spicy notes. A colleague said it also had conifer notes, which I didn't notice before that but would like to expand on.

Last month I got a few chocolates, mixed a few version. Chocolate fudge brownie, not my thing. I have the new version of inw chocolate, haven't used it yet, same with flavorah chocolate, glad I read coops recipe, I would have over shot it. Remindes me to mix coops kiwi contraption. I bought all the ingredients for it last month. I ordered to many flavors, I started spazing on what to mix but I do have a lot mixed up, steeping. Question to coop and all, do you change your %s depending on a dripper or rta? I don't drip, I know the flavors better but I'm too lazy. I use kayfun 5 minis. Just wonder if you raise %s for tanks.
