One good thing is, I've read on ELR that there are a number of other very good NF's concentrates. Have you tried any other flavors from this company that you've enjoyed?
So, compared to Health Cabin's version, that's a no, right? Chemical smell does not sound tasty
/u/ID10-T - For me, this concentrate is a definite "no go". To compare this to HC's Sweet Corn is unfair. HC's Sweet Corn would be...like a HeavyWeight fighting a Flyweight...a Flyweight that drank alcohol before the fight. 😶
I was suspect of it at first because of this over powering Alcohol and Astringent/Chemical note I noticed straight from the bottle (I talked briefly about it during the 1st show I was on with Fresh03). I thought it would steep out, because of the Corn-like aroma I smelled underneath it all, but it did not.
Then I thought I mixed it too high and called customer service from Nature's Flavors. Although they don't advocate for their concentrates to be used for E-liquid, she told me that they are used; and recommended to test the Corn at a lower % if I didn't want that "chemical or alcohol taste". I did as I was told, and it still is very astringent at 2%.
when reading this I had no idea what you meant by caustic and alkaline but after just trying this sft at 1% I totally get it. And it does taste "dirty". Hopefully after a few weeks steep or much lower % this will turn into something usable but right now its downright nasty. Thanks for the review girl!
You're welcome /u/mlNikon . Thanks for taking time to read my notes on this. For the SFT, I went from 5% → 2%, and at 2% it had the same harsh and "dirty" chemical / alcohol aroma and flavor properties.
However, I couldn't muster the courage to vape it past a 1 week steep at 2% considering my experience's with it at 5% ☠️.
Keep me updated on whether the various caustic notes steep out at 1%, or at a lower percentage. Hopefully it does...but I'm giving this corn concentrate the side eye (→_→) 🌽
