Most recipes will be in percent of the total, so when you see a recipe, it should look something like

PG 47% VG 50% DIYFS Holy Vanilla 3%

So if you're making 100 ml of juice, you'll add 47 ml of PG, 50ml of VG, and 3ml of Vanilla.

You need the specific gravity of the concentrates your using. If I recall correctly e liquid express shows this on product pages but you can also look up the TDS for each concentrate. Personally I just default to 1 ml equals 1 gram.

TFA Fruit Circles will taste like that to some people. It does settle down over time, but it's not really a shake n vape flavor.

That being said, I typically use it 4-6% paired with TFA Crunchy Berry Cereal at 2%, throw in a little bit of whatever cream, and it doesn't really bother me after a day or two steep.

I have tried several vendors PG/VG, Liquid Barn, NN, Wiz Labs, BCF... Not much difference in quality. I buy from EssDepot still. Palm Derived.

All of those seem like really high percentages. Maybe try a lot less of a percentage, around 5% and then work your way up or down. Less is more.

Cotton Candy is going to taste like sweet air regardless, that's what it tastes like. But as for the others, depending on your device, you might be using way too much flavor. It's possible to use too much flavoring and blow it out so it overwhelms your senses and you can barely even taste it. Often, less is more. Try using half as much flavoring.

What device are you using? Where did you get the flavors, any chance they are old or watered down? Have you had good luck with other flavors that aren't by TFA?

TPA Koolada 10 pg is just referring to the concentrate. It is 10% concentration of Koolada in PG solution. TFA Koolada is the same thing.

The best I've tried is Carolina for sure. It's relatively pricey, but it's been worth it for me. Just to sound like a commercial here, they ship quick and their packaging is on point.

Here's my 2 cents. Just say no to both TFA. Chalky coil gunking,clinging demon spawn. Only heard good things about the next 2. FLV MC I can vouch for. It's new to me, but I feel like it will be the only choc that I need. Not Hershey bar, but rather Hershey syrup. I havent needed to go over 1%. so it will last.

FLV Chocolate Deutch tastes good, but it's also inseparable from a large amount of coconut. It's a german chocolate cake flavor, so the coconut is fitting, but you don't want that if you don't want coconut in there.

Just say no to TFA Chocolates.

Fruits and berries don't need much steep, while creams, desserts, tobacco etc often do. So the first and obvious option is to mix fruits and berries.

The next best thing is to mix way more than you can vape. Either tons of small samples, which allows you to discover new recipes, but requires a wide range of concentrates. Or one really big batch, but this requires that you know you'll love the outcome, or you'll waste a lot of supplies for nothing.

If it's a recipe I'm familiar with and i can't be patient I'll mix two bottles, one to steep and one to vape while the other is steeping.

I will tell you that adding more flavors will not help. Tips would include being more patient and/or finding a recipe or two that you like as shake and vape while you wait.

What flavors do you like? Might be easier to suggest a SNV by profile. I will say that what ever you mix, if it taste horrible as SNV, keep it 2, 3, or 4 weeks, as it may surprise you later. There are several SNV recipes out there. Sometimes just a 1 day steep helps the mix blend together nicely.

Increasing flavour will just mute and ruin the mix. There is no "quick fix" for juices that require steeping. Just suck it up and learn how to be patient. You could also mix up a fruits only recipe at the same time as most fruit flavours are good straight away. You could smash through that while waiting for your other bottle to steep

yeah it wont work too well trying that. Just gotta find some recipes that are more geared towards shake and vapes. Fresh03 and TVC have a show called "fresh from the kitchen" on youtube where they put out recipes geared towards snv (usually). If you search Freshepies on ELR you will find him, hes been mixing for along time and has some good recipes. I highly recommend watching the show though, so you will hear why he chose certain flavorings ext.

Get into ultrasonic mixing. Not the same as steeped, but huge difference compared to shake and vape. Also stay away from flavors that contain alcohol, they usually need to wait a week or two to remove harshness, they also need some breathing.

What works for me is to have a couple of shake and vape recipes, like Mustard Milk or some fruit with menthol on hand, and mix a small batch about every week, so I always have something I enjoy ready while the mixes with longer steep time (2+ weeks) get ready. Otherwise... I'd end up vaping something that tastes watery (Picture pouring a little drink on lots of ice, let the ice melt, and take a swig... that's the flavor strength I'm talking about). Instead of a creamy, sweet, and intense dessert flavor. Or a smooth, nice tobacco would taste like wet green wood, if I couldn't have the patience. That's what letting the bottle rest in a dark corner for a couple weeks gets you.

Malic Acid (10% bw) 1%, plus Citric acid (10% bw) 1% will give anything a pretty solid sour. it's a long steep though. if you have good baking suppy or homebrew supply store nearby, you should be able to buy pure crystals for pretty cheap. mix either one with PG at around a 1:10 solution. you may need to heat up the PG a little bit to get it to dissolve thoroughly.

Check out 510 Central on Amazon for your bottles. Average cost for a bottle of juice really depends on the recipe's ingredient amounts, so there is no real easy answer. All I can say is that it is significantly cheaper than retail juice.

I use Recipe Calculator software and input the prices of all my supplies and it calculates the cost of every bottle of juice I make, not including the bottle. On average a 120 mL batch costs a little over $4. Bottles are maybe 65 or 75 cents so it's usually around $5 total.

Are you talking about their starter kit? It's actually a pretty good deal.

If you mix 70% VG or higher I'd suggest doubling up on the VG and buying a separate, smaller bottle of PG. Because the flavors are PG based they make up a decent portion of the 30% PG in your mix and you're likely to go through both 500ml bottles of VG included in the kit before you finish even 240ml of PG.

I like FA Up at like 0.5% for a small coffee taste. But for your purposes maybe look into Fa booster(tiramisu)

I 2nd the tiramisu suggestion. If you like creamy sweet coffee like me, tiramisu is the way to go. Other coffees are less forgiving and extremely difficult to work with. You will still need to add other things to it though. I am working on a recipe now using it. FA Cream Fresh will definitely be going in there for the milky flavor you mentioned. My go to at Starbucks is a caramel macchiato with whipped so I will also include caramel and whipped cream of some variety. The recipe is basically a rough draft in my head right now or I would be more specific. I am just brainstorming "out loud" to give you an idea on how to use it if you are after a sweet, creamy dessert coffee.

I’d probably do Nicotine River for a 1 stop purchase. I’m not sure I’ve seen a better price on VG anywhere without getting bulk while it’s on sale. But to start out you probably don’t need 4 gallons. They’ve got a decent flavor selection and I haven’t really seen anything negative about Nic Select Nicotine. And if you spend $50, you get free shipping.

FLV Peanut butter is a nice PB flavor.

It has a little bitterness when used single, but I recently supported it with tfa whipped cream and it's wonderful. Try 4% pb and %2 whipped cream. It may also work with other creams but i only tried whipped cream.

The difference is pretty negligible IME. They are both pretty much the same.

I don't think it will have the desired outcome you're hoping for though. Both acids mutes mixes after a few days and gunks coils.

The best combination of price and quality I've found is VapersTek ($3.74 for shipping)

Tfa cheesecake graham crust, tfa bavarian cream, tfa vanilla swirl, vanilla bean ice cream, capella vanilla custard or tfa vanilla custard are some of the flavors that are easy to work with. They are very forgiving and you can make nice cream layers with those. Fa cream fresh is another more different, light, non sweet cream and nice to have fun with your cream experiments. I also really like Greek yogurt in my base layers but that's not a popular choice I think. Add to those a sweetener and you will have enough creams to easily experiment with them mixing different fruits, chocolates, coffee etc. Also be sure to stock up tfa strawberry ripe and capella sweet strawberry.

I'd order more VG and buy 250-500 ml of PG. you'll end up using a lot more VG than you'd expect. you'll be able to play around with VG/PG ratios a bit easier as well. make sure you buy a scale that measures to .01 . Also, a higher MG nic will mean it will last longer.

please don't do that. look around the sub for more but the short answer is you likely don't have the right equipment to extract a flavoring from coffee and will end up hurting yourself. try FA Up or other coffee flavorings.

TFA, CAP and FW are 5% generally for SF. But they are so scattered its not always 5%. I would do 2 testers one at 3% and another at 6%. Fa I would do 1% and 2.5% testers. Results are gonna vary depending on the flavor but I personally smell the flavor before I make that judgement call. Typically a strong flavor will be potent on the nose at that point dial it back some. Hope that helps!

God Milk has 5 flavour concentrates. No sweetener needed as the flavour concentrates are right on the bang for sweetness.

TFA Smooth is mostly triacetin. I would recommend only using such additives as a last resort.

Less is more, they say. So, to get your feet wet, look at Mustard Milk. Since it uses a lot of TFA Strawberry and that's sweet enough, no sweetener is needed.

Actually, the most common strawberry flavorings like TFA Strawberry Ripe, or CAP Sweet Strawberry are inherently sweet. Adding sweetener to those is overkill, since it would either mute the flavor like EM does, or gunk up your coils (more) with sucralose.

it's triacetin. when i've used it i've mainly stuck to around .25-.5%. it's useful for fluffing stuff up a little bit and blending but it'll mute the hell out of the entire mix. I've never used it to try and fix a mix.

There's a lot going on in this recipe, simplify it a bit until you've nailed the profile. It's quite possible that some things are putting a damper on the flavors you seek, such as the lemon or joy/amber. Figure out what ingredients are essential to the crumble and skip the rest for now. For a potent blueberry, I like 3% TFA BB Wild to 1% FA Bilberry, tune to your liking. When you've found a balance between the crumble and the blueberry, then you can start adding stuff back in.

I've had good luck with selectnic from Liquidbard, VG/PG are pretty universal, where ever you end up ordering you flavors from will have them. Flavors are totally subjective, look up some of your favorite recipes and see what they use.

I've tried a lot of different brands of VG and it was all nearly identical. I wouldn't be able to tell two apart. PG as well.

There is no best brand of flavoring. almost every flavor has it's own place and use.

I mix by weight. it's cheaper, quicker, and more accurate than mixing by volume. to mix by weight you'll need a scale that measures to .01 . that's about it.

Your best bet is to buy two flavourings and combine them. FA Jamaican rum (I think that's what it's called) is a popular Rum flavouring. For the coconut look up in the sidebar for "flavor of the week" and look for the coconut post.

Glass bottles seems to be preferred, plastic degrades and in turn degrading the nicotine.

TFA Koolada is a 10% dilution, so adding 9 grams of PG to your 1 gram would be the equivalent. But you can make it stronger or weaker if you wish.

The only thing I could really find was a note on ELR. Goes well with apple, not so good solo because it gets a plastic taste (no idea if that was at something crazy like 10% though... ELR)

But I did find out that INW Pear is appearently king (lol.) With FA Pear being maybe less realistic, but more versatile and juicy.

It's not very good at being a pear, though.

I would absolutely not get FLV Pear for a Pear flavoring. It is absolutely disgusting. However, if you step away from it pretending to be a flavor it can actually be a great addition to a recipe for texture. It seriously has a grainy texture to it. You just have to be careful about what you put with it because the Butyric notes in it are powerful and can get magnified. I left it out of the main post of my Sorbet recipe that was linked to detriment of the recipe. But I also did not want people buying it thinking it was a Pear flavoring. It is NOT. IMO only useful for texture.

Doesn't look bad at all, what parts do you want to improve? You might want to drop TFA Sweet Cream, but the rest should form a solid foundation. FA Meringue and FA Vienna Cream may need some tweaking depending on what fruits you add, as fruits are inherently sweet and don't always go great with said concentrates.

Double the custard to 6%, should be plenty heavy. I tried 8% once, too rich for me. Leave the rest the same.

I’ve been really enjoying INW Custard with strawberry and I’ve done one with blueberry as well. I don’t really like vanilla, and I don’t really taste it in the INW Custard. It’s just a really thick, eggy custard.

You can DIY for any device. The TFV12 isn't bad at flavor from what I've heard, but changing coils frequently when you're experimenting could become costly. The actual mod doesn't matter though, it's the atomizer you'd want to upgrade.

Lower VG itself doesn't improve flavor. You'll want at least 20% PG in the mix to get full flavor.

Wattage might seem like a matter of preference, but the sweet spot is mostly depending on the coils. Lower resistance, multiple coils, complex wire and higher VG requires more power. For simple dual Clapton coil builds around 0.4 Ohms you don't really need more than 50 Watts to get all the flavor you could possibly want.

Those are some solid choices but without knowing what recipes/profiles you're after it's hard to suggest additions. Perhaps looking over the First Order Flavors will give you some ideas and checking the reviews for any flavors you're unsure of.

NR is better if you're using the tried and true method of finding recipes that are highly rated and sound good before buying flavors. LB has some decent flavors of their own but they're not in as many highly rated recipes.

Either one will be a good deal during the sale but I'd suggest the one with a better variety, which in this case is Nic River.

Even if you could be sure that the other 15% was something like distilled water and not other, more harmful impurities, it still would be less than ideal. Definitely buy online or look for something closer to 99%.

The only things I'd be cautious of are drops per ml can vary and the potential to over-squeeze the bottle (maybe it's just my clumsy self) adding too much unmeasured concentrate.

A problem you may run into going by drops is when you change venders or even just bottle size, if you get a different tip the surface tension to create a droplet will change which could make a difference in the amount per drop. Also mixing by weight I think most of us mix everything in the bottle :)

Leaving mixes for a few days will generally yield better results flavor wise.

Pro- if you're completely out of juice you can vape it without throwing up.

Con- everything else lol

The biggest pro is time. You can experiment on the fly and have instant results. Experimenting with a recipe that requires a month of steep sucks.

The biggest con is that your perfect mix may turn into a muddled mess after a few days.

I prefer sticking to concentrates that don't require much steeping, but sometimes it's just a necessary evil and then you just have to be patient. Applying heat or breathing or any other "speed steeping technique" does more harm than good.

BCF has the largest selection across the major brands. Shipping is fairly priced, and ships out next business day (except after a sale, then may be 2 days). Only vendor you'll need 99% of the time.

I would start with a Taffy base, like FW Taffy (salt water taffy base) and build up a nice vanilla to go with it. It may also need a touch of sweetener to get it into the candy realm.

Try the Juice without nicotine and see if the problem remains. Then try a batch of flavourless with nicotine and then one with straight up purely VG and PG.

It's tedious but it's the only way to rule out some of the factors.

I have never had the juice you are talking about, so I'm not sure if this would be suitable as a clone. Blue raspberry is actually a mix of raspberry and peach. I would suggest checking out Blue raspberry Candy by Ediblemalfunction for inspiration. Or just search for blue raspberry juices and see how they do it.

If you cut it 1:1, the nic will be 25% stronger than you want. The weight of 100 mg/ml nic in VG is 1.235 g/ml. For the sake of simplicity, you could just add 259.5 grams of PG to the nic and shake the hell out of it.

That's the best kit that I have seen. A couple of questions/recommendations:

Did you pick the flavors because they sound good? It's better at first if you pick out some highly rated recipes that appeal to you. This sub's archive and alltheflavors.com has plenty that have mixer feedback.

60/40 is my preferred ratio too. I recommend getting 2x 500ml VG and adding on 1 500ml PG. Like this you'll prob still have some PG left when you run out of VG. I go thru like a 3:1 ratio.

I like the PG nic, but why not bump up to 100mg/ml? Lasts 2x as long.

It could be as simple that you prefer candy, beverage and those kind of juices. Philosophucker has some others great recipes you can look up.

I'm guilty of this and find the ones you've listed to be boring.

Sweetener is a matter of preference, most prefer to avoid it whenever possible since juice is inherently pretty sweet.

Grack Juice is a vastly different recipe from the others you mentioned, perhaps you're just more into fruits than creams and desserts.

I’m pretty sure they have been good since. Mostly all you hear about now is the crazy long ship times. At Nicotine River you can get twice the amount of 6 mg 50/50 for a little cheaper than 3 mg 70/30. Then you could get some VG and dilute to 70/30.

exigexpress has 70/30 3 mg as well for a little cheaper, but I’m not too sure about the quality of their nic.

I've ordered a sample of NN's nicotine and it was just fine. But I recently made an actual order from them and immediately regretted not ordering from Nicotine River instead because of the better prices and shipping reputation. I think it's best to stick with the Verified Vendors list in the sidebar.

V2 flavours have no diketones
