Just wanted to share with you all my first recipe i can adv and am quite happy with. I took inspiration from Diy or Die's sugar cookie custard mix and tweaked/added to it to try and create a snickerdoodle with icing flavor. I had read that sugar cookie by cap had a noticiable cinnamon note and decided to stick with that as my base. All of the minor additions came from leftovers of popular diy mixes that i found to not be for me. No notes as i have no authority or experience to do so. would love your feedback on it.
The mix: CAP Sugar Cookie v1- 6% CAP Vanilla Custard v1- 5% INW Biscuit- 1.5% LA Cream Cheese Icing- 1% CAP Butter Cream- 0.5% FA Joy- 0.75%
Even without the experience or "authority," I would still highly recommend adding what notes you are picking up on when posting to this sub. Without notes, this is better fit for the New Mixer's Thread.
However, with that being said, I think you should take the time to see why this recipe is good, and how you can improve upon it. Just looking at this mix, I can tell you're getting some really thick mouthfeel from this recipe. No better time to try and figure out what your concentrates are doing in a mix than to just jump in and do it.
For future versions of this mix, I'd recommend trying to boost that cinnamon note if you're trying for a snickerdoodle. There are some really interesting new flavour concentrates on the horizon, one in particular being FLV Pastry Zest. To me, that is a one-shot for a snickerdoodle. Another option would be CAP Cinnamon Danish Swirl to boost that cinnamon for a true snickerdoodle cookie.
Cheers on what looks like a pretty solid first mix.
Have you tried Silver Cloud Estates Snickerdoodle?
Nah. Never even heard of it tbh.
