Looking for a good starter kit out of Canada.
submitted almost 8 years ago by SuprSaiyanTurry

So, I'm looking for a good place to buy a starter kit out of Canada. I looked in the search bar but no one has asked this yet. I was going to buy it from Liquid Barn but they won't ship nicotine to Canada. I have never mixed before if that helps and as for a budget, lets say $150. Hopefully someone here has ordered a kit or knows a good Canadian company to order from.

Thanks in advance.

Oh, my apologies! I thought I read the side bar thoroughly! Thanks for the heads up!

The broke vapor would be good because you can choose what flavors you want. I would suggest finding a few highly rated recipes on elr or atf that look good to you and buy the flavors for those. That way you won't waste your money on flavors that you won't use that much. Atf also has a top 100 flavors list you might want to check out too.

I've definitely found a few recipes I'm interested already. So many out there!

Hey! You're definitely going to want to check out The Broke Vaper. He is the best place to find a starter kit in Canada! 50.00 is the base price which gets you 5 flavors,500ml VG and 500ml OG as well as a 30ml of nic. There are also upgrade options for a max of like 15 flavors. The upgrade takes it from 50 to 90 dollars. Than tack on a few extra that catch your eye. Definitely plan your first flavors around recipes you find and want to mix. E-liquid-recipes is likely the best spot to start for beginner recipes. Or look around here as well. If you have any other questions feel free to PM me!

Awesome I'll be sure to do that. I'll be going to the clone thread later to see if I can find a recipe for a snozzberry juice a buddy of mine has and is absolutely amazing! Also, I will message you if I have further questions, thank you!

So I've noticed this guy doesn't have glass bottles or am I missing something? Also, is the a difference between The Flavour Apprentice and The Perfumer's Apprentice? I noticed when I was on an e-liquid site it just bunched the two together.

Yeah TFA and TPA is the same company. It started out as The Perfumers Apprentice then branched out into flavorings and that arm of the business is The Flavor Apprentice. People use TPA and TFA interchangeably. - - - The Broke Vaper doesn't carry glass bottles. Do you want them for mixing or do you want them to store your nic? DIY-ejuice in BC carries glass bottles and so do a lot of other places. In fact, if you're going to order a scale from Amazon I would recommend you order some glass bottles from there as well if that's what you want.

Okay that's good to know and I want them to store my nicotine. I'll be able to get a scale in town so that's not an issue.

I just checked and you're right, there's no glass bottles on there. If you were set on glass bottles you could check out WTF Labs, also in Canada. He's got a good selection of glass or if you wanted to order from China, DHGate is a great spot for buying bottles and it's pretty cheap. I stick to LDPE bottles, I can get like 200 for 50 bucks. Yeah, Perfumers Apprentice and Flavor Apprentice are the same thing! Some call it one while some call it the other!

If you want no-brainer simple then by all means shop with The Broke Vaper. If you want the best bang for your buck use www.bestglycol.com out of Montreal. They offer VG, PG, nic and flavors for half the price of The Broke Vaper. I buy my nic by the liter and VG and PG by the gallon. 10ml bottles of TPA and FW flavoring are $2 each which is a great way to try the flavors out without committing to larger bottles until you're sure you're going to like them.

Why so much? All the kits I see are under $100.

Just watch how fast that 30ml of nic goes and the small amounts of VG and PG you get. Next thing you know you'll be placing another order. Then another. Then another. You get the idea.

Ooooh! For more VG/PG/NIC! Yeah, that'd probably be a good idea. I wanna drop my nicotine amount to 3mg but I'm sure it'll still go quick.

Because you are going to want to buy 100's of flavorings haha

That makes sense.

You can just reorder when supplies run low, and order flavors you know you are going to use in 30ml bottles from TBV. $500 is like a juice start up haha. My orders vary from $55-85 and usually include a liter of base, 100ml of nic, and 5-7 30ml concentrates. Use code reddit10 for 10% off, or boo15 right now for 25% off (Halloween sale)

I recently ordered my flavors and bases from diy-ejuice. I found they have the biggest flavors selections compare to others. Fast shipping good CS.
