Why is tobacco so hard to figure out?

I've spent so much money on tobacco flavoring and almost all of them have been fails. The only flavor that I enjoy is TFA western, it is such a simple flavor that is straight to the point. Are there any other flavors that are similar? I don't want any nutty, fruity, floral tobaccos. I want a nice tobacco leaf. The one thing I learned through all of this is that I hate FA tobacco flavors, they smell as horrible as they taste. Also I do not sub ohm vape, I prefer pod vapes, so this may be why I'm having a hard time.

FLV red Burley 4%
FA oak wood 1%
INW dirty neutral base 0.5%

nope. I don't buy very many eliquids these days. this recipe is my all day vape right now.

I use sweet stuff in my RTA's / squonks; and tobacco in my pod vapes. hitting this at 25mg nic salts, 50/50 ratio

The Inawera Tobacco Absolutes might interest you. If you really like the Western, SC Cohiba and SC Western might appeal to you. FLV Kentucky Blend and INW Black for Pipe work great together.

Trying them all to figure out you only like 3 or 4 as a straight tobacco is probably my biggest issue. There are definitely some strange "tobacco" flavors, problem being they are made from non-tobacco ingredients. Sometimes getting creative with pairings can shed new light on a once boring/undesirable tobacco flavoring though. It becomes a vicious cycle trying to make a flavor more palatable just to use up the container, but then liking its progression in a recipe enough to order a bigger bottle next time. I actually love my tobacco flavors...

As to why, it's hard to capture the essence of smoke. It's like comparing the smell of a piece of wood and a campfire. My favorite brand of tobacco is no fun without combustion, but adding things to make it ashy and smoky helps.

I really enjoy Nude Nicotine Tobacco. It's a non-aromatic NET, very clean and low in gunk. Mellow, no sharp tones, possibly made from a blend of burley and virginia tobaccos.

You need to have patience for this one: 3-4 weeks for delivery from the abominably slow vendor, then 3-4 weeks of steeping. I like robust tobaccos but only use 2.25% for a standalone flavor.

Should also blend well with Western but haven't tried that combo, yet.

Funny you say that because I have NN tobacco and I mix it with Western. The only problem I have is that it makes my pods burn out a little quicker, I think. That was the first flavor I ever mixed, its really good stuff.

There are tons of different outfits who make NETS and some seem to be far more satisfying than others but to die hard tobacco lovers they are the only way to go .

Tobacco flavored juices just don't cut it for these people they want the real deal.

Have you tried the Flavorah tobaccos? They're godamn top notch. Go on alltheflavors and look up "Southerner" by Kopel. Its very strong, and very tobacco. I keep it on hand in many concentrations. Also there is StixxMix NET concentrates, I haven't used them but I've heard a lot of Good things about them!

As it relates to Tobacco flavors you have to check out Flavorah: Cured, Native, Red Burley, Virginia, Turkish, Tatanka, Connecticut Shade and Kentucky Blend. They will all be a good step in the right direction when it comes to mixing

Tobacco flavors are tricky because they really take time to develop. Steeping a tobacco the right ammount of time can really turn it from a bad vape to a really good vape. I've heard that some tobacco based flavors need to steep upwards of 1 to 2 months in a cool dark cabinet to mature to a point of being good.

The reason for me mixing is that I've been trying to make a Juul tobacco clone. It's hands down my favorite vape. Nothing beats the hit of tobacco pod.

I remember seeing a clone recipe, it was “OOO Flue Cured 3-4%, OOO 555 1%, INW DNB 0.3%: 3 weeks steeping, only for Juul (i.e., not for rta/rda)”

The author (WorstAdviceROC) also noted that this recipe could be improved with FLV flavours.

Since you like Western, try SC Blended Tobacco. Straight to the point tobaccos include FLV Red Burley, FLV Kentucky Blend, StixxMixx Aged Burley, INW Black for Pipe, FLV Connecticut Shade.

6 months is a decent amount of time. Things change and this post is definitely going to help. There's even someone who gave me a recipe he uses in his pod vape. It's not like I'm spamming, I just wanted new recommendations. Also I've opened all of those links multiple times.

idk why you are buying fa tobaccos instead of nets if youve seen those links.

someone's always tryna hype their own recipe; so i also dont know how that's a gauge of how informative a post is - or a surprise.
