I've been experimenting lately with nic-salts ranging from concentrations as low as 1.5mg for sub-ohm use to 20mg for stealth vapes. I'm trying to break out of my usual mixing habits to bolster the flavor on devices such as the minnow (low wattage/stealth). Would this be an actual case to increase the flavor base % up a few? Any tips? Thanks!

Usually, you need a higher % of mainly "stand out" concentrates. Usually 50_100% more than your subohm recipe of the same flavor. I've been mixing for my JUUL since they came out, and with nic salts for about 18mos. I wasted many batches trying to bring nuance into the fold. Bakeries do not translate well, and temperature plays a big role.
The best tip I can give you is add WS-23 to everything besides savory custards and the like, as even .5% can "open up" the other flavors and makes a much more enjoyable experience. Also, make sure your VG/PG ratios are correct for that specific device. In a JUUL, 50/50 blows, and messes with the temp control which in turn effects flavor. 70/30 is the best in that specific device. Additives such as distilled water and saline seem to bolster flavor as well (saline only in certain recipes).
I've also found using more concentrated flavors helps as well, as it seems any recipe I make with over 15% causes the drag to change enough to notice. Concerning the JUUL, many people look for that "crackle" the original device has, and lower %'s help in achieving that.
Anything close to cool mint yet? Will pay many dollHairs.
Well, I use my ol lady who doesn't vape as a test mule (o lawd) and my last mix, she can't tell which is which side-by-side. My problem is my taste buds. I smoked 4+ packs per day, and have abused my sinuses with nasal spray for 12 years now.
One minute, it tastes exactly like Cool Mint. The next, I'm wondering what the hell I'm thinking. I'm going to send ConcreteRiver and ID10-t some cash, a Juul, some OG Cool Mint, and my 3 best clones, and if they have time, hopefully get their opinions.
