Nice, care to share the recipe?

I'd be happy to - it's a pretty simple recipe which is why I was surprised at how much difference the steep made.
CAP Sugar Cookie 7%
CAP Vanilla Custard v1 4%
CAP Cinnamon Danish v1 3%
TFA Marshmallow 1%
The cinnamon really mellowed out and blended with the other flavors, and the sharp sugar cookie taste fell back into the vanilla custard to impart a nice bakery flavor. When I first vaped it as a SNV, it basically tasted like shitty grocery store sugar cookies that someone dumped cinnamon on. Now it's like a sweet cinnamon danish with a cinnamon sugar coating. I'm getting some TFA Sweetener tomorrow so I'm gonna see how it goes at 0.5% with this and the 'I Can't Believe It's Not Mason's Strawberry Shortcake Bar' I've had steeping for a week.

EDIT: For anyone who was too stupid to figure it out, no, I didn't create this recipe. You can go change your underwear now.

Yeah, since I thoroughly enjoy searching out recipes on the internet to link them rather than just looking in my recipe notebook for the percentages. Aww man, I was really hoping everyone would think that I made it up! Looks like I'm busted!

Nobody expects anyone creating a post because they were able to successfully follow a recipe. Of course people thought you had created something. Now stop being a douchebag to everyone.

"I don't expect anyone to create a post because they were able to successfully follow a recipe."

There, I corrected your sentence for you.

The autism is strong with this one.

Steeping your juice is a real thing. It really helps with those dessert flavors. Some flavors can be a shake and vape but most will need to steep a bit. Glad your investment paid off for you.

Congrats for buying new juice and letting the DIY juice steep. I probably would've just vaped the homemade and never got a chance to taste it steeped. That was a smart move, even if you didnt plan it. Lol. Snickerdoodle is such a tasty profile, yummy. I'm also new to Reddit, and am blown away on how awesome the community is. I can relate to what you went through very much. I started off by buying $90 of concentrates and bases when I started vaping, and didn't even know what a recipe was. Never made anything that I was impressed with from that batch, but I only had fruits at the time. I would just throw in whatever sounded nice, which worked sometimes but I never let them steep. Things have changed since I got a bigger variety of concentrates and learned how to use them.

Just like you saw, I also learned that steeping is no joke and the difference from your juice can be night and day. Also, making your own recipes will get easier the more you mix and learn what each flavor contributes. I've heard of some people making recipes they're familiar with but then taking out a flavor, or swapping. Allows them to get an idea of what that flavor tastes like. Also, single flavor tastings are an awesome thing that helps, probably more so than a flavor swap in a recipe.

Swapping out the flavors sounds like a really good idea. Trying all these different recipes from All The Flavors has really helped me get a sense of the differences between them, but swapping or taking out flavors all together actually sounds really helpful in getting a sense of what they do and how they work with other stuff. Thanks for the tip man!

Someone should lock this thread. Everyone is just going to pop in and tell them how wrong they were, and he's going to reply, and make it roll on and on until everyone is blue in the face.

Congrats on having your first good batches come out! Sounds like an incredible feeling. Got my first one finally coming up to full steep on Sunday. Hoping to share that feeling of satisfaction you're basking in now!

Glad ya hung in there!

Nice man, keep at it! Such a good feeling that it finally paid off, lol. Was starting to think that I had bad PG or something! That first good batch is a great feeling, also a nice feeling of relief haha. Was beginning to feel I had wasted $300. I'd be totally lost without this place. If people weren't as generous with their recipes and knowledge as they are, I doubt I could have created something decent on my own.
