Eucalyptus mint, mix mint, mint and fresh mint dont mix in with vg at all.
Ive steeped the bottles in hot water for 2 hours and shaking the bottles until my arm hurts.
Sent a message to inawera to get more clarification since the flavors contain oil and the end result is really unconsistent flavor since the flavoring just floats to the top of the mix.
Anyone had similar issues with inawera mint/eucalyptus flavors?
Using 3% in my mixes btw
E: Okay the issue might be that i am using max vg but it saddens me that inawera doesnt clarify it anywhere, this is pretty much unusable in a max VG mix. You only taste VG from a tank and an occasional throat killing hit that tastes atrocious.
Menthol generally does not like dissolving in High VG and it will precipitate out of solution in cold weather. I used to get menthol crystals forming in my tank in the winter with high VG and high menthol juice.
Also INW Eucalyptus mint is 30% menthol (Plus the eucalyptus oil) so that is what is probably causing it.
Yeah i know what you are talking about with the menthol crystals not dissolving in vg, since ive had that happen with TFA menthol.
In this case though its only a clear liquid that floats on the top, nothing like with the menthol crystal solution. So i really dont know what ishould do
E: I also left the bottle in a really hot bowl of water and the flavoring still floats to the top after 5-10 minutes, while inside the bowl
I used 1% Eucalyptus w/ Mint in max VG a while back and had no issues.
Why are you attempting to "steep" in hot water? Not really necessary... Shake them well and set them in your cupboard for a few days and shake again before vaping.
3% might be a little on the high side of usage for those INW mint flavors too.
The flavoring doesnt mix in with the VG, especially Eucalyptus w/ Mint. (Its my favorite flavor of the bunch)
With 3% on a 90ml mix, going through couple days of steeping and my own little "ritual" here, i only get a VG flavor in my tank and the last 0.2mils of juice or so tastes like pure eucalyptus that is way too intense.
You can visually see the flavor on top of the juice even in a hot tank.
Please report back when INW gets back to you. I imagine eucalyptus oil would be harsh to vape.
E-juice is water soluble. Oil is not. You are trying to mix an oil with water. It's not going to work. If you keep vaping oil you're going to kill yourself. It will literally coat the inside of your lungs and you will die. Do not Vape essential oils.
Essential oil is a misnomer and they were named "oil" because of their properties of not being soluble in water just like lipids. Most essential oils are not lipids , some may be but not all. As far as I know essential oils that don't contain lipids can't cause lipoid pneumonia.
You'd be suprised how many flavourings contain essential oils , example every citrus related flavor I read on TFAs website contained 1 or more citrus oil.
I know for a fact that both the 'mint' and 'natural mint' mix with vg just fine. I have been selling tens of thousands of bottles a month that contain both of them.
