What do you like to mix with tobaccos other than caramel and vanilla?

Other than the obvious menthol... I'd probably start with molasses or brown sugar. Maybe clove. Various woods? Elderflower might work with the right tobacco... Really, why not just... paging /u/chemicalburnvictim

Probably just easier to link to the additive FOTW.

Personally, I really like bourbon and the wood stuff with them. I hardly ever use caramel or vanilla.

Yeah, I was kinda waiting for someone to say their favorite thing to mix with a tobacco is RY4.

I've subbed RF Molasses SC for TFA Brown Sugar in Ckemist's Southern Smoke recipe and it turned out well. Use about 1/2 as much as you would for Brown Sugar.

I'm using it a simple rum and maple recipe today, something like:
FLV Cured Tobacco 2.5%
FLV Red Burley 1%
FA Maple Syrup 3%
MB Captain Rum 1.5%
RF Molasses SC 0.5%

I tend to stay away from tobaccos normally, but that does sound intriguing. MB Captain Rum? Would that be spiced rum flavor, by any chance? I should look for that one...

It's more of an amber rum taste, at least to my palate. I tested several rum flavors looking for one to use for a Cuba Libre recipe and found the MB Captain.

I'll try most any flavor with tobacco. I really like peanut butter and banana, spices, apple, peach, blueberry, and raspberry. Haven't tried all of u/ID10-T's suggestions but just added them to the list. I'm steeping a mix of FA Fuji, CAP Cinnamon danish swirl and INW Black for Pipe right now.

A couple of my favorite things to add are a tiny bit of hazelnut (cap or FW) and/or a very small amount of coffee (FA or hangsen espresso).
