VG Nic
submitted about 8 years ago by sawklor

First time DIY last night, the VG nic was a pain to extract even using a larger gauge syringe. Anyone else experience this?

That's why I like PG nic. Easy to shake easy to pour. Easy.

The only issue with PG nic is trying to stay within a 75/25 VG/PG ratio at higher doses.

Only up to 6mg with 48mg base.

I found that using 50/50 should alleviate this problem

I use 70/30PG 100mg nic. Easy to keep your ratios and waaaaay easier to get out of a fine tip squeezee bottle than 100% VG.

That's why I order all my nicotine base from nude Nicotine. I've been using them for 3 years now with no issue. Always completely clear and flavorless.

It's a pain in the ass. As someone with far too much of the stuff I suggest finding an old 30ml / 100ml squeeze bottle and using a funnel to slowly pour it in there. Wipe the bottle and surfaces with antibacterial wipes. Put the small bottle in the cupboard and the big one in the freezer.

hope you're mixing by weight...

Take some of the nicotine and put it in a dropper bottle. problem solved.

Decant into smaller bottles then just pour in the weight needed

I use oral syringes for my nicotine, pg and vg. I bought some clear condiment bottles and keep the sealing attachment from the oral syringe on top. I also keep a rubber band along the thread of my vg bottle to keep it tight so nothing leaks as I'm turning them upside down. They're just a few dollars from any pharmacy.

For reference.

Good idea as my PG kept leaking through the threads of the condiment bottle. I used Saran wrap to fix mine but I’ll definitely use the rubber band if it fails.

Yean my first bottle of nic was in VG as well because I'm PG sensitive but it was such a bastard to work with that I gave in and got PG nic. Especially when it's kept in the freezer it gets very hard to work with. Best option is a 10ml syringe with no needle.

That's a great idea

When I accidentally bought VG once I cut the tip off a plastic pipette to make it wider. Only 2-3ml at a time but still quicker than a needle free syringe.

Easy as pie with these: should be able to pick up from any pharmacy https://www.vaphilia.com.au/collections/syringes

Some flavours require a longer steep. Some flavours feel harsher on certain coils- try on a variety of tanks/mods to get a rounded judgement. Some flavourings can give a stronger throat hit. Nic might not be the problem- possibly a bad recipe? No need to dilute Nic further. Hope that helps (:
