This is my second post in DIY_eJuice; please bear with me.
I recently (within the year) inherited 15 beautiful bottles of Medicine Flower flavoring all different flavors.
I researched months back and thought I'd take a crack at learning how to mix so as not to waste this precious fluid but became overwhelmed, not because I perceive mixing to be difficult but because I view working with this particular brand of concentrate intimidating.
The problem being, it's $300+ worth of concentrate which, once the seal is cracked, begins losing potency. I called a MF rep and she said the concentrates are good for up to a year possibly a year.5 if kept sealed in a cool dark space; I've mastered that part (they've been in a vacuum sealed hard plastic container in my closet for 6+ months)
So having never mixed I'm trying to have my mix plan prepared BEFORE I crack the first bottle and not destroy 15 bottles of flavor like an impatient dumb ass (which I can be when frustrated).
After calling the rep I went to a vape shop and found some really good guys who were interested in MF and wanted to help. So cool to see employees who actually love what they do and co-workers that had become actual friends.
They gave it their best but couldn't seem to fathom that the flavorings were not suspended in a PG/VG and ultimately knew as little as I did which is OK, I get it, 99.5% of mixers apparently use the same brands (FA, CAP, etc).
I'm running long. So in the end, my saving grace is an ecig member who suggested a DIY'er (Abdaba though maybe misspelling it) and his opensource recipes which are wonderfully available online. A HUGE thank you to whomever selflessly made these recipes available. I am thrilled about finding these opensource recipes though uncertain if I can do this correctly without wasting concentrate.
If anyone has advice as to how not to destroy 15 bottles of MF with no mixing experience or thinks I should just give up and sell them/donate them to someone who knows what they're doing please post your thoughts/help. Thank you!
They're in glass bottles, they should last a good amount of time with minimal flavor loss.

Thank you, Tiptup. I've decided to DIY them and already made the dilutions for all 15 flavors. The dilutions were easy enough and still settling in now.

You have a source for this? I have seen people over the years imply this but no one has really found out definitively this is true. People keep saying that they are pure aromas in a bottle but no sources for that info.
What I have read about MF over the years of being here is they are one of the hardest manufacturers to work with to make juice. They don't blend well with other companies and hardly blend well with themselves.
Here is a list from Open Source Vapor that uses MF almost exclusively. This is the website. You have to wait for the redirect for it to load the recipes.
You can also search this sub for for more information using this link. Not a lot of people use them so you won't find very much for recipes here but the recipes from OSV should help you figure something out with them.
No, I don't have a definitive source for that thinking. It's my understanding, which could be incorrect, based on reading I've done here, specifically, posts from abdada, stating frequently that MF is a pure extract that has no PG or VG
I have no other flavor brand to compare it to, but I will say it has a very, very thin (low) viscosity which feels free of any additional carrier (pg/vg)
And, Chewy, thanks so much for the linked helped and Wayback idea. I greatly appreciate that. So, if I may, 'Open Source Vapor' was a small business that sold eJuice as any other small vendor but were different in that they made their recipes public, is that correct? I wonder why they closed/stopped. Thanks again.
Yeah they made all their recipes public for people during their time selling. Using medicine flower as your flavorings is expensive and along with the FDA bullshit I think he said fuck it. It's a really competitive market so it makes it hard for someone using $22/15ml for flavoring to make money.

In my opinion the AutoMod bot needs a little fine tuning, it seems to flag any post with the word "help" in it.
While we're here I can tell you that Medicine Flower flavors are highly concentrated, much more potent than the other flavors commonly used for DIY. So you might want to dilute them in PG before mixing - something like 5ml of MF to 20ml of PG (that ratio is a total guess btw) I only have one MF bottle and I've found that just 6 drops can be very effective in a 30ml recipe.
Thank you, naked. Took your advice and looked up the dilution ratio Open Source Vapor (abdaba) used and looking good so far.
After experimenting both ways (straight concentrate vs. diluted) I can see where you could definitely mix with MF straight from the bottle and some potential advantages in doing so but these dilutions make life much easier -- much more forgiving.
