I am trying to get my wife off buying her e-liquid and onto one that I'm making. She reckons it's pretty close to what she wants, however there isn't enough throat hit. I don't want to increase the PG and there will be next-to-no cloud, so I'm guessing I need some other/different flavour in there?
Can anyone advice please?
Note that it's only 1 week old and not the required 3 weeks old, which might make a difference?
Flash (FA) can be a useful additive for increasing throat hit.
Also check out Black Fire (FA) which may also work nicely in that tobacco recipe.
Hey thanks! So add a bit of Flash and/or Black Fire to that mix?
PG isn't gonna give you a real throat hit. Only thing that works for this is more nic. Also, low quality nic will give you a throat hit so there's that lol
PG is the god of TH over on /r/electronic_cigarette, but I mixed some 100% PG juice up as a joke to see what it would be like and was disappointed to find how smooth it turned out.
Same. I dripped straight PG onto dual claptons at like 90 watts just for shits. Marginal throat hit, tasted quite meh.
PG sensitivity is super rare and people hyped this myth to hell. MAX VG is fuckin stupid
Personally not a fan of FA tobaccos, so I would swap out that Virginia with INW Black for Pipe or maybe FLV Classic Cigarette. If the Virginia is good, then I'd still suggest picking up one of those two and adding 1% to what you've currently got. FA Black Fire @ .5% would also work nicely.
Somewhat unrelated but have you worked with INW Cherry for Pipe at all? I'm having a hell of a time bolstering the cherry note.
I tend to avoid cherry flavors because I'm afraid of cough medicine taste in vape form. But I read somewhere once (it was in the comments of a thread, and I can't seem to find it) that Black Cherry for Pipe is different and superior to Cherry for Pipe. The review for black cherry sounds like you might be interested in it. Sounds like I might be interested too, but I'm still scared haha.
you could try getting some nic salts from nude nicotine. I think they have a hit version. I have not tried it personally though.
