I've been thinking about making a base to help make my ejuice faster and I was just curious if mixing together my Vg ,Pg, and Nic into a base would worse off.
I dont see a problem doing that, as long as your recipes use similar flavor % to keep your ratios even.
Edit: may want to do the VG and PG and add nic when you do flavors. Putting the nic in early gives it more chance to oxidize and ruin it.
This doesn't allow for any variation. If you have like 10% flavoring, 70/30 VG/PG every single time then this is fine. But once you change any of that, you wouldn't be able to use your base anymore. Or it would require some tricky math to know what VG/PG/nic to add.
If making for yourself, sure, if selling to other people, IME people like their stuff made to order. Being able to truthfully say "I made this last night" actually sounds a lot better than "I mixed up 5 gallons of this about 6 months ago"
just mix by volume. i oredred syringes but forgot blunt tip needles. it's so much quicker, if you're trying to save time by mixing bases.
luckily, i happened to have a 0.00 scale laying around and its loads easier and requires no cleanup after.
happy mixing!
I've made a master base concentrate for year. Just mix all the concentrates for the recipe into a 120ml bottle. All I have to do when I mix is nic, pg, vg, then the flavor base. When I was selling in a local shop I would even make a full 0mg mix of 500-750ml then just add nic in the bottle and then the already mixed flavor, pg, and vg. Saves a ton of time.
