Hello fellow DIYers,
for some reason i can't stand creamyness in my ejuice.
I like more or less simple fruity e-juices and most of the time i like a good bit of koolada. Maybe we can have a big thread for these kind of e-juices?
Here is three of my ADV recipes:
"smashin' lemonade"
-
Juicy Lemon (CAP) @ 2%
-
Lemon Silicy (FA) @ 3%
-
Sweet Tangerine (CAP) @ 4%
-
Koolada 10% (TPA) @ 1.5%
steeping time: minimum of 4 days
"Orangu-Tang"
-
Grapefruit (CAP) @ 4%
-
Hibiscus (CAP) @ 2.5%
-
Juicy Orange (CAP) @ 4%
steeping time: shake and vape OK
"Green Blast"
-
Apple (Tart Green Apple) (TPA) @ 4.5%
-
Honeydew II (TPA) @ 7%
-
Kiwi Double (TPA) @ 2.5%
and some drops of Menthol
steeping time: give it a week if you can
is the % the amount that should be put into the bottle? So if I have a 100ml bottle I am making up for smashing lemonade, I would have 4ml of juicy lemon, 6ml of sweet tangerine and 1.5ml of Koolada? Sorry if that is a dumb question, just trying to get my head around it.
yes. % are used so that no matter what size you make, the recipe can be duplicated. try plugging this recipe into an online juice calculator and it will show you whatever ml you need for whatever size you're making.
also, buy a scale =)
Okay I have only recently gotten into this so thank you! I just thought I would have a quick google instead of asking too many questions, it seems like I will need to get a couple of beakers if I am going to be using scales. Any advice on some youtube channels I should check out at all, or do you recommend going at it and learning from mistakes as I go?
For green blast how much menthol do you recommend percentage I'll be using koolada
Orange-utang sounds amazing! I'll have to get a grapefruit in my next order.
sounds great. wonder if there's a good way to add green tea to it as well.
never had or made a juice with green tea, but i'm about to order some. some kind of citrus green tea sounds great.
i only recently bought my first bottle of TFA green tea and mixed it up with TFA lemon. 5% TFA lemon 3% green tea a drop of menthol for each 10ml of juice
its not too shabby at all but i thought it is weird that the TFA green tea looks and tastes more like black tea. it has quite a distinct note of honey in it, too.
EDIT: i dont think TFA green tea would go well with the orang-utang recipe because of the hibiscus that is dominant enough and would fight with the green tea ... but i could be totally wrong.
Here's a couple of mine :)
- 4% CAP sweet guava
- 1% INW cactus
- 2% TPA jackfruit
- 3% FLV mango
- 2% CAP golden Pineapple
- 1.5% TPA Kentucky bourbon
- 0.5% TPA Papaya
- 0.75% INW peach
- 0.5% TPA toasted marshmallow
- 0.5% INW cactus
- 2% CAP canteloupe
- 1% JF Honeydew melon
- 1% FA watermelon
- 2.5% LA Watermelon
Optional 0.5% Erythritol
Do you think I could substitute the CAP Sweet Guava for FA Pink Guava in Prickly Victory?
I'm the same way, and this is my ADV. I call it Suckle My Peach.
TFA Strawberry Ripe - 4%
TFA Juicy Peach - 3%
TFA Honeysuckle - 2%
Is the SB Ripe used to manipulate the sharp edges of JP and meld the honeysuckle or is it used to give a strawberry flavor as well? Asking because ripe doesn't really taste like anything to me.
It kinda makes its own flavor with the Peach. The honeysuckle brings the two together really well.
This is my favourite fruit ADV recipe at the moment. I made it by accident, mistaking guava for something else. I absolutely love it and hope you guys do, too.
Wet Nectar
-
10% ethyl maltol (TPA) @ 0.25%
-
Cactus (INW) @ 0.5%
-
Fuji Apple (FA) @ 2%
-
Mango (TPA) @ 1.5%
-
Strawberry Ripe (TPA) @ 3%
-
Sweet Guava (CAP) @ 3.5%
Plus a few drops of Koolada to your own liking. Personally, I only add about 5 drops to a 30ml bottle.
Here are two that I'm working on right now:
Fuzzy Mammoth
Ingredient|% :---|---: Cantaloupe (FA)|1.5 Cotton Candy (10% EM/Ethyl Maltol) (TPA)|0.5 Lime Shisha (INAWERA)|0.25 Melon (INAWERA)|1.5 Peach (Flavorah)|4 Peach (INAWERA)|1 Watermelon (LA)|2.5
Flavor total: 11.25%
and
Melon Fondler
Ingredient|% :---|---: Cactus (INAWERA)|1 Cantaloupe (TPA)|1 Dragonfruit (TPA)|1.5 Fuji Apple (FA)|0.5 Grapefruit (INAWERA)|1.7 Lemon Lime (CAP)|0.5 Mango (INAWERA)|1.5 Phillipine Mango (TPA)|1.5 Watermelon (LA)|0.5
Flavor total: 9.7%
I normally use 70VG:30PG, sometimes opting for PDO instead of the additional PG.
If you've got any questions or notes for me let me know!
Here's a couple of mine I've been working on
NectarHops
-
Nectarine (TPA) @ 3%
-
Peach (INW) @ 1%
-
Yakima Hops (FLV) @ 3%
LemonBiscus
-
Lemonade (LA) @ 5%
-
Lemon Lime (CAP) @ 1.5%
-
Juicy Orange (CAP) @ 2%
-
Hibiscus (CAP) @ 1.25%
-
Cactus (INW) @ .75%
add coolant of your choice

Try In A Godda Da Vida. A yummy blend of papaya, pomegranate, and orange. You can get a discount when you buy all the flavors for it.
I'm not in front of my recipe book at the moment, but the recipe isn't perfect anyways so BLEH, %s totally off memory (and thus probably not accurate at all)
VapeWhenYouHateVaping 4% Strawberry TFA 2% Strawberry ripe TFA 1% Raspberry Sweet TFA 0.5% Black cherry FA or other tart/deep flavour
- 0.5-1.5% or adequate amounts of menthol ice FA with a splurgeazzle of peppermint FA (for me, usually a 2:1 ratio of menthol/peppermint)
I never let it steep so I couldn't tell you for how long.
I made a bit of a fruit punch a while back that was really amazing, but short lived in my rotation. It originally had FA Cola 0.75% but I didn't really care for the funky part of the cola in the mix, so I present:
FRUIT PUNCH
CAP Harvest Berry 2.5%
CAP Sweet Lychee 2%
CAP Passionfruit 1.5%
TFA Dragonfruit 1.5%
TFA Champagne 1.5%
INW Cactus 0.5%
(Total= 9.5%)
I'm not a fan of TFA Champagne. Too much of a chemical taste. Do you think FW Pink Champagne would be reasonable sub at 3%?
Peach Ice Tea
Ingredient|Percentage %| :--|:--| INW Black Tea|3| CAP Juicy Peach|1.75| FA Apricot|1| TFA Koolada|0.5|
You can crank up the Koolada probably if you want it colder. But it is very well balanced as it is.
For a few weeks now I am almost exclusively vaping this. My friends and family too. Somehow this turned out super good by accident :)
I don't know why, but it is the best juice I ever tried. And that's not just me saying this.
Where are you getting INW black tea? Can't seem to find it in the US.
So I've bought the flavors and mixed this up, shake and vape there's an earthy taste to it, I assume it is from INW Black Tea.
I don't get a lot of Peach taste though, have you tried increasing CAP Juicy Peach and FA Apricot?
Thank you for trying and replying. I am a bit sad that you seem to not like it much.
Yes, I have tried different percentages and I liked the above the most. For me it tastes exactly like peach ice tea that you can buy from the supermarket. I can taste each of the ingredients.
All my friends also like it a lot and request me to mix fresh batches all the time. Sorry it did not work our for you. I am surprised. The only thing I don't like about the recipe is that it has quite some throat hit still.
Actually, I do enjoy the recipe. After a 3 day steep the earthy taste goes away, how long do you usually steep it?
I was expecting more peach flavor to come through. I know that CAP Juicy Peach has a killer throat hit, so increasing it too much can destroy the recipe.
I might make a batch with 0.5% TPA Sweetener to taste.
Three favorites currently
Strawberry Watermelon Ice
I'll sub out one of the strawberries for shisha strawberry (inw) since I can't really taste the others
Strawberry ripe (tfa) 4%
Strawberry (tfa) 4%
Watermelon colorless (fa) 6%
Cactus (inw) 0.5%
Koolada 2%
Menthol 2%
Orange pineapple dream (coconut optional)
Orange (FW) 3.00%
Orange (INW) 4.00%
Pineapple (TPA) 4.00%
Golden Pineapple (CAP) 4.00%
Cactus (INW) 0.25%
Optionally drop the pineapples by 1% each and add 2% coconut extra (tfa)
Pan galactic gargle blaster
This will literally destroy your mouth with lemons, a lemonpocalypse, a lemonparty, lemonception
Italian Lemon Sicily (CAP) 5.00%
Lemonade (LA) 4.00%
Lemon (INW) 2.00%
Cactus (INW) 0.50%
Koolada (TFA) 1.00%
Super Sweet (CAP) 0.25%

And anything using sweet and tart with a fruit is tasty!

I've been told on multiple occasions that my taste in eliquid isn't far from straight floor cleaner, not a fan of overly sweet shit. If you're into that sort of thing, here's my latest noob level, shake and vape concoction:
• TFA Watermelon- 10% • RF Watermelon- 1% • CAP Juicy Lemon- 1.1% • CAP Cucumber- 0.9% • TFA Honey Suckle- 0.5% • TFA Sour Mix - 1.5%
who has got the best pink lemonade recipe?
Vurve's [Best Damn Pink Lemonade] (https://www.reddit.com/r/DIY_eJuice/comments/4biyx4/best_damn_pink_lemonade/) hands down.
