Inawera Little Red Cape (2017 new flavor, Poland)
submitted about 8 years ago by mrgruszka

Setup: eLeaf iStick Pico 75W, Kangertech Subtank Mini-C, 0,15 ohm Ni organic cotton coil, 210-230 Celsius

**Percentage used:**3%, 3 mg/ml nicotine base with 50/50 PG/VG ratio

Steeping: two days

Flavor: I was excited to try this, as I tried mainly singles from Inawera, and this is something more complex. It says on the packaging that it's exactly what red cap had in her basket. According to Inawera, it was a pack of cranberry-raspberry candies.

It smells like fruit candy, sour but with this specific smell that candy has - not really sugary, but sweet and you know it when you smell it. It really reminds me of hard fruit candy and I could compare it to none-menthol version of fruity Halls.

At the inhale, 220 Celsius there is mild throat hit and something candy-like. I do not taste too much fruit there, more like general sourness. The exhale consists of fruit and candy. There's a lot of raspberry flavor, not exactly real raspberry, but also not artificial like in some perfum or cheap candies, it does taste like good, raspberry flavoured candy. Comparing it to real raspberry: it's much less sour, but still sour. I cannot ommit the taste that sweet-sour raspberry is broken with.

It's the cranberry. I would say it gives the juice this lil, teeenie tiny bit of tart taste, which is quite refreshing for me and makes me say that this will be great to vape in this time of the year. This cranberry taste is similar to juice more than the fruit.

Throat hit is also moderate at the exhale, I like it harder, but it's probably fine for most vapers. :)

Uses and pairings: I will try to make even more complex fruity mixes from this, but for now it tastes good single. For some reason I also think it would be fun to break it with a real taste of whipped cream or something creamy in general.

Personal testing notes: No point of using more than 5%. I should finally remember it when using Inawera concentrates... This will also be my daily vape from now on.

Second opinions: None so far.

Summary: Definetly worth to recommend. I think it will not be boring in long term and if I ever come across raspberry-cranberry hard candy I will try to compare it to this.

Don't you worry, I'll test something other than Inawera soon. :D

I didn't find anything of note. Kind of disappointed now. :(

Yeah, all I'm seeing are legends, myths and studies on Little Red Riding Hood. Image results are showing baskets, art, and cute costumes. All innocuous here.

It must be such a hassel doing flavor testing with a kanger subtank.

what do you mean?

Most flavor testing, in my experience, is done on an RDA. Its easier to change the wicks for different concentration amounts, and less hassel without a bottom filling tank.

Thank you for your work though! I don't mean to detract, just sayin its a pain and thank you.

Well you are right, but currently I dont have the cash to buy an rda. My subtank mini is top filled by the way and I'm quite patient :p but you are absolutely right, rda/rta would be best for the taste and comfort
