How long does 100ml last you?
submitted about 8 years ago by videogamingtown

Im about a month and half into diy now just started making bigger batches of 100mls , my latest mix is pretty good so i find myself vaping more. When i bought 100ml bottles from the stores it lasted me about 3 weeks. I made my 100ml bottle and it lasted 7 days. I'm not sure if it's just me vaping more because i know i can make more if needed or i'm doing something wrong lol.

Probably about a week. I go through between 12-18mL/day.

Roughly same here 10-15ml/day between 1.5mg nic and 0. Usually most is 0.

I mix all my juice at 6mg, and I'm usually carrying 60mL bottles of 5-6 different flavors. I like to switch it up; it cuts down on vaper's tongue. I very rarely fill my tank with the same flavor back-to-back.

You need some good 15's then or 10's, I usually carry 3, 15ml chubby gorilla black bottles myself. One with nic, 2 that are 0.

I go through 4ml-5ml per day, that's basically vaping all day. So, 20-25 days.

How are ya'll burning so much? I guess I don't "blow clouds" though.

Work from home IT job will do it every time. I'll refill my 5ml tank 2-4 times a day if I just sit there and vape without thinking while I work. If I take it into work with me, it'll last all day because I have to go outside to use it.

If I worked from home every day, I would definitely go through as much as you are, lol. It's too hard not to do it nonstop!

Nic salt will stop you from just chain vaping. At least in my experience

Wait.. like salt as in not freebase? I didnt know there were any other options.. could you elaborate please?

Dual Clapton coils just plow through juice. I couldn't care less about clouds, it's just more fulfilling, better flavor. Also a matter of nic strength, I find the weaker the juice the more I vape, subconsciously, to satisfy the craving.

by Mister_Regealabout 8 years ago

Yeah, even parallel single-core claptons in dual won't drink it down like dual triple or quad-core fused. I've never seen 2ml of juice disappear in 4-5 vapes like that before.

But the flavor is insane, rich, and what I would best describe as "juicy" while using them. Had me sitting there wondering if I needed to adjust my percentages and drop my nicotine for a minute.

The flavor is absolutely better on any sort of clapton wire, and for my condensation-prone bottom airflow tanks the single-core wires work best for heating & cooling down quickly.

Still haven't messed with incorporating ribbon wire into my claptons, so I have that whole can of worms to open up.

Depends a lot on setup- things like wattage/airflow/resistance/nic level/"clouds." I use fairly disparate setups in different situations, with nic levels varying by a factor of 3. Not too surprisingly I go through about 3x times the juice if it has 1/3rd the nic. If I bought commercial juice I would probably just use 18mg in an MTL tank, just because of the money involved... 15 mills a day is about what I'll vape at 6mg, so yeah, about 100mg/week.

I woke up 3 hours ago and im about to fill my 3.5 ml tank for the second time. I vape claptons at 50 watts.

My finished liquid usage is very dependent on my stress level and how much time I have in places where I can vape.

I go through about 20 to 30 ml a day.

Same here. Sometimes even more then 30ml when dripping a lot on a free day

DIY is fucking yummy huh?! It's not unusual for me to vape a 120ml in a week and a half if it's tasty.

by RRjrabout 8 years ago

When I made my first decent mixes I just consumed. 100ml lasted a week tops back then.

These days the same amount can last a month and a half, easily.

It's a really good feeling... when you know you're doing this solely for the pleasure and for no other reason. No addiction, whatsoever. I sometimes go days without touching the vape and I don't even notice anymore.

Guess what I'm trying to say is it's pretty normal for your consumption to skyrocket as you discover just how good proper DIY juice is. But it'll come back down once you've ventured through all the things it has to offer for your taste.

100ml last me about a week.

by MechanicalCheeseabout 8 years ago

I'd focus more on nic consumption than total juice if you're using the same device all the time.

Personally I go through about 80ml per week, with a 40w single coil rhl setup on the go and a 130w triple coil dl at home. This is all at 1.4 mg/ml nicotine (though it feels like there's a bit less nicotine absorbed per volume juice with big clouds on the DL setup). When I was vaping at 6mg/ml I was only consuming half the juice, but that that's still twice the nicotine intake.

i mix a lot of different recipes in 15-30ml and don't really pay much attention to consumption but it depends, for me, a lot on the VG/PG ratio of the juice. i find that 60/40 and 70/30 seem to go much quicker than, say, 80/20. If it's really good, like grack juice, 120ml will last 4-5 days in 70/30.

120ml from a store nearby of a juice i'm trying to recreate ("Bam bam" - a perfect fruity pebbles krispie bar using at least in part FW flavors) will last me around a week to a week and a half.

If anyone has something that tastes like a spot on fruity pebbles that isn't Pebbles by manson I'm all ears. Not that his recipe is off it's just not what i'm looking for.

Have you tried FW Fruity Flakes? Smell (and taste to a point) is dead on accurate. It is one of those that I had high hopes for, just couldn't keep vaping the corn syrup=) FW Fruity Rings is a better Froot Loops than TFA version, it just isn't there for me either.

1 points

by Lulzorrabout 8 years ago

Yeah. I don't think it's very accurate at all. The lemon is was too forward and doesn't steep out well enough. I suppose, though, that lemon meringue can fix that to a point.

5-10 ml a day, so 100 ml of liquid... 10-15 days.

But there is something else I consider, too.

I tend to make 50 ml batches of liquids I enjoy too much (especially if they have a two week steeping time, like creams and most desserts). 30 ml bottles of things I like. 10 or 15 ml bottles to test a mix. 5 ml if I'm testing a single flavor.

Why? because some mixes can lose flavor over time, or "go bad" if not vaped soon enough. Or, apparently for no reason, become harsh or bitter if left alone for too long. So I keep lots of a given mix I go through like mad, and I ensure I don't run out. And less of mixes I vape out of boredom, just to change flavors, but don't use often.

30mLs lasts me about a week so 100mLs usually lasts me around 4 weeks

5-10 days it depends. Im using a tfv 8 with dual 6 wrap 26/32 claptons 2.5 mm at 50-70 watts on a dna200.

Depends on which setup I'm using...

A 120ml bottle usually lasts me 1-2 weeks. It really depends how often I work from home though. Being able to vape at my desk tends to make me vape more just because I can. When I'm in the office, however, I'd be surprised if I ever use more than 5ml throughout the entire day.

I'm consuming 200ml a month, +-30ml. It is the same since i started it in october.

like a week

by RamboUnchainedabout 8 years agoMixologist

About 3-4 days. All of my coils in every atty I have are hungry as hell. I have a .4ohm series build in my Combo RDTA that can evaporate a tank (6ml)in under 40 pulls. I refilled that 3x today. I'm also squonking in a Pulse 22 and I'm on my second bottle (20mL) in 10hrs. I've also done a bit of dripping. I've probably vaped 45mL, but I was off. On the days I work, I usually still vape about 15-20mL.

1 points

by Mister_Regealabout 8 years ago

On average, about 4-5 days. Sometimes I can get a full week, but if it's a unique mix or something out of the ordinary it definitely won't last.

I usually plow through 20-30ml a day at 1.5-1.8mg. When I mix new flavors I definitely go through more. Making more bottles of other flavors & multiples of the ones I enjoy are the only ways a single bottle will last me more than a week.

That said, I'm considering lowering my nic by 0.25-0.5mg on a couple of bottles just to see if my consumption goes up or stays the same.

A lot longer than it used to! I grew tired of those big battery, high wattage, low ohm, juice sucking mods about a year ago and for several reasons. 1) They use up a lot of eJuice. 2) They are not in the slightest bit discreet 3) It looks pretty childish and immature blowing those clouds (opinion) 4) They drain batteries fast 5) They are often big and bulky

I'm now vaping back to vaping a Kayfun like the good old days and it's saving me a ton of juice. I probably only use 5-10ml a day now. I really missed the flavor and draw I got from a setup like this too. Okay so maybe a little too much info there but I felt like gabbing a bit.

Six weeks or so. I was a very light smoker though and don't vape indoors.

1 points

1 points

by ultragaz2about 8 years ago

Yes. TBH, vaping has actually been far more expensive for me. I used to smoke 2 packs a week which was about £14.

I have spent far more per month on mods, tanks, juices since I quit in January. Hey ho, haven't had a cig in 8.5 months so I suppose it's worth it.

I have my first 4 30ml batches of DIY juice steeping while I finish the remainder of my TPD sale juice I bought in May. I am not expecting to be making anymore until December time.
