Inawera Melon (Poland)
submitted about 8 years ago by mrgruszka

Hi, my previous review of one of the Inawera flavors was quite chaotic. Thanks for the feedback, here's another review for you to enjoy.

Inawera Melon

Setup: eLeaf iStick Pico 75W, Kangertech Subtank Mini-C, 0,5 ohm SS organic cotton coil

**Percentage used:**5% (which is apparently too much as for what Inawera says, but good for me), 3 mg/ml nicotine base with 50/50 PG/VG ratio

Steeping: Shake and vape, later: three days to a full week

Flavor: Inawera has a large variety of aromas, concentrates, e-juice, aromas for pipe and so on. What really gets me is that rarely, even with pre-premiere aromas, I feel something artificial in there. This is not an exception. So first points are for authenticity of the flavor in smell. It smells like a freshly cut melon, not much sweetness going on in there, but definetly rich, fruity smell. It gets better with my first inhale at 260 Celsius. At the inhale, it's mildly sweet, smooth and fruity, don't really know how to put it right but with some fruits you get this mild, delicate smoothness when eating and this is exactly that. Another thing is the throat hit. When I vaped it in shake&vape stage, it was quite strong but not in a way that got me to stop vaping. I like to think of it kinda like of analog cigarette throat hit, and I really, really like it. Exhale on the other hand is filled with this smoothness, especially when steeped 3 days or more but throat hit is also there - much stronger than when ihaling. After steeping I still got quite a throat hit but this smoothness is what really gets me here. It stayed on my tounge for a while, I like that. It's pleasant and I don't want to stop vaping it. It is not as sweet as melons are, but definetly one of my favourites and I buy it frequently.

Uses and pairings: I find it to be going well with pineapple flavor, which gives it a nice sweet touch. Other than that I wouldn't pair it with sour flavors as I think it would kill this smoothness that I like so much about it.

Personal testing notes: Do not go apeshit or whatever you American lads would call it with concentration because throat hit will be too much, 5% is maximum. You really don't need much steeping with this aroma either.

Second opinions: All of my friends have tested it and described as simply fantastic, and enjoyed the vape. We all vaped about 200 ml of juice with this flavor.

In summary, this is a great aroma that you can get for cheap (2,5$, around 10 PLN) and use it in concentration 2-5%. When vaping at 2% concentration it's too mild for me, I preffer stronger sensations here.

Does this form of a review suit y'all? Thank you for feedback, again, so much. Appreciate it, and will implement it on www.epallenie.blogspot.com

P.S don't think that I am associated with Inawera, this is the largest company here in Poland so I vaped quite much of their stuff

Thank you for the review. Yes, the format is much improved. Apologies if we all came down too hard on you for your "point system" but this is way easier to read. I'm glad the negative feedback didn't scare you away!

Reviews are all basically subjective, so the more reviewers we have the better in my opinion.

Cheers!

Probably MTL vaping is different, concerning flavors. I vaped INW Melon at 3% and it was already too strong for me.

Also for me it did not have enough sweetness for a melon, it was more like an unripe melon, or melon rind.

Definitely something that can be used in recipes, as it is really authentic and not artificial at all. Your suggestion to mix it with Pineapple sounds good, I think I might try that.

I am also thinking about mixing it with FA Apricot, somehow I think that might turn out well.

definetly agreed with you here, it lacks the sweetness of melon, but for me this isn't a bad thing especially when mixed with something sweet. Apricot may be good with this, you're probably right. Let me know how it turned out :)

What melon flavor was it? Honeydew, cantaloupe, water?

Not 100% sure since I'm Norwegian, and when I google Honeydew there is several different melons.

It's the yellow, smooth skinned melon if that makes sense :p Tastes just like it without the sweetness.

Edit: This kind

Thank you! I haven't tried a yellow skinned honeydew, not sure I've seen any here. But the flesh looks the same so I imagine it's similar. Thank you for the review!

Inawera Melon is a fantastic flavoring. I really love it. Try-

  • INW- Shisha Strawberry 2%

  • INW- Melon 1%

  • INW- Shisha Vanilla 1%
