So, I'm new to all this, but in order to sample my flavours I've been mixing up 15ml samples at an even percentage (with nicotine, I know that's not advised, but I usually use 15ml a day so I get a chance to see how the flavour runs over a day), but in order to shake them effectively, I've been dropping hexagonal driver bits from this crappy screwdriver set I bought from the dollar store, washing them first of course, to provide extra agitation and stirring, I've noticed that this has caused the same amount of agitation after 10 seconds of shaking as I struggle to achieve after 10 minutes, maybe more.
Should I keep doing this? Is there a better way to shake liquids?
Well I don't see anything wrong with using a drill bit, you are making this more complicated than it needs to be. I prefer to mix in something twice the size of my batch. So there is plenty of room to shake. Then simply divided into smaller containers. A condiment bottle works great for this purpose as long as your batch is under 300 milliliters. Shake it like a martini I typically don't have to go more than 60 Seconds and my juice is far more homogenized than it ever was when I tried using a hand blender or making a whisk for my drill.
Sometimes I take some extra kanthal, make a whisk, and attach to my drill.
Do you do that when you're making a huge lot at once? I never mix more than 60ml at a time so none of these kinds of shenanigans are necessary for me. It doesn't take any more shaking than the average Pornhub session to get thoroughly mixed.
You gave me an idea: we have 3/32" 316SS welding rod at work which will fit in my Dremel's collet. A little polishing and bending and wah-la, a mixing tool.
Seems fine. I just leave headroom in the bottle so there's enough space for the liquid to swish around, usually just shake for 15 seconds or so
How much nic are you putting in samples? I usually do 1mg
