A Purplish Choke
-
3% Apricot (TPA)
-
1% Arctic Winter (Menthol Artic) (FA)
-
3% Cactus (INAWERA)
-
1% Dragonfruit (TPA)
-
1% Meringue (FA)
-
0.5% Raspberry (Malina Koncentrat) (INAWERA)
Let's take a break for a moment to appreciate the name of this recipe which is a full anagram of Philosaphucker, our great cactus prophet. Thank you. Now, with the recipe.
3% INW Cactus + 3% TFA Apricot + 1% TFA Dragonfruit is our main profile: it does represent a liquified cactus fruit. Don't be afraid of using 3% apricot, it will not be recognizable, because cactus will eat it alive. Basically all the ingredients in this recipe are just thrown into a maw of our cactus god. Dragonfruit adds this little jelly jammy note and works great with the accents from second part.
0.5% INW Raspberry (Malina) — again, fear not, it won't overtake the mix, though 0.5% is a lot. Cactus will eat it allright. Mainly it will be present only as a light aftertaste and will take part in making complexity of fthe flavour. And, as I said already, it works great with TFA Dragonfruit in that jammy dimension.
1% FA Menthol + 1% FA Meringue are, like, filters here. Menthol makes the cactus god not to overwhelm you, and meringue keeps the jammy part intact by sweetening it and protecting it from menthol disruption.
Have a nice one.
Oh and elr: http://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/1593951/A%20Purplish%20Choke
I'd stand up to shake your hand, but the front of my pants are tight.
However, I'm out of FA Meringue at the moment; any subs you can think of?
TIA
You had my attention at cactus...so we thought 2 % range was crazy now your going to 3%.....I really like your description of cactus' power as indeed it is kind of like a black hole in that it sucks in anything in its' vicinity. I actually have these flavors (which rarely happens), so i'll give er' a mix tonight.
Looks good but only have FA Apricot. Would you know if strength / flavor is similar to TFA's?
In my practice FAs version is a bit more shy and subtle, and TFA is more rough (which is good for cactus, because we need to break in). So may be you want higher percentage.
Looks real interesting, does arctic winter add any profile or is it just mint?
I don't have that flavor, but I have Koolada.
Well it's not mint, it's menthol. You can use koolada, I am just little tired of it personally
Damnit, bit on the ass again from buying INW Cactus Lime instead of INW Cactus. I believe /u/ConcreteRiver said in a review it's ok to sub Cactus Lime when Cactus is used... if I do that should I still use it at 3%?
This looks like a tasty recipe.
>Pretty much just a mix of INW Cactus and INW Lime. Tastes maybe a bit heavier on the cactus than the lime, if I had to guess this is maybe 75% Cactus, 25% lime although don't quote me on that. With some random S&V testing of a mix of cactus and lime, I'd say the main difference is that this is a bit softer, but a lengthy steep would probably make them fairly indistinguishable.
I just quoted ya on that, /u/ConcreteRiver.
I have no experience with INW Cactus Lime or INW Lime, but that recipe sounds like lime may actually add more than subtract, so unless someone else can specify why it's a bad idea, try it out! No harm in testing a small batch, or just winging it with a bigboi!
This looks delicious! I dont have apricot tho, any sub for that? And can i sub the inw rasp with TPA's?
I feel a need to say "not really", but you definitely could try. INW malina is absurdly strong so you may want to increase the amount of TFA raspberry from 0.5% to some adequate percentage.
I only had regular 10% dilution menthol, so I used 0.3% of that instead of Arctic Winter.
This is pretty straightforwardly a Cactus vape with other fruity undertones. The Apricot is a nice choice as a complement. Menthol in general has fallen out of favor with me because of the flavor it imparts. I find that I am partial to Koolada (once I get my hands on WS23, that may change). It still works here though.
I came back to this off and on over the course of a couple of weeks. All in all, I found it quite enjoyable. The apricot asserts itself more after a steep. Overall, we have a pleasant take on the 'grack-esque' profile.
If I were to mix it again, I would try to balance the heavy-hitters a bit more. This means gasp taking the Cactus down a bit. Instead of the Raspberry, I would try to give that Apricot some help by incorporating a peach flavor--I am thinking INW Peach.
Cheers, man!
Made this for someone looking for a kiwi berry recipe
Somewhat simple and really satisfying.

-
4% (TPA)Kiwi (double)
-
1% % (FA)Red Touch (strawberry)
-
0.3% (FLV)Sweetness (optional but this is my preferred sweetener)
nice I was totally thinking bout mixing up some forest fruit n fa kiwi the last cpl of days
It's quite a yummy combo. That TFA kiwi is really good too, I finally tried it after thinking im doing fine with FA. Someone posted a thread about cloning Cayuga and I decided to try kiwi double. Not disappointed:)
I havent mixed or sampled TFA Kiwi even though I have it.
I have however tried the long discontinued Seduce Juice Kiwi which, after smelling the bottle of TFA kiwi; i feel pretty confident in saying i know what tfa kiwi tastes like.
It's really good but can be floral if memory serves correct. I think kiwis can be kinda floral as well though. I havent actually had one in a while.
have you tried FA Mad Fruit (red bull) or Citrus Mix? if so what percentages do you like
Have you tried FW Kiwi? If so, how do you think it compares to both TPA Kiwi and FA Kiwi. I haven't tried the latter. The former I can't ever get to work for me. Maybe this recipe will change my mind on it.
i tried Fw and did not like it as much as i like these other two. Plenty of peeps love FW kiwi but im not one of them. You should give this one a whirl, its quite nice =)

I haven't shared much with Reddit because I've only been doing this for a little less than two years. I decided to really put effort into crafting recipes this year, and I feel like it's paying off. Big thanks to the community.
I'm probably jumping the gun, cuz I only mixed this for the first time an hour ago, but it literally brought a single tear to my eye:
__Strawberry lemonade on ice __
Vendor|Concentrate|% |:--|:--|--: CAP|Sweet strawberry |.5% FA|Red touch |1% INA|Shisha strawberry|.25% LA|Lemonade|5% CAP|Italian lemon Sicily |1% FA|Polar blast|1% CAP|Super sweet|.25%
I really hope somebody mixes this and enjoys it as much as I am. It's a relatively straightforward profile, so I'm certain there are other, similar recipes out there, probably many that are better. But I made this one because I had a flavor in my mind, and somehow I learned enough about these ingredients to get it into a bottle. Sorry for the masturbatory tone of this post, but I felt like sharing this moment!
This is an attempt at a popular commercial juice. Close enough anyway for the requestor. Besides that, I like simple recipes that manage to taste like more than they are.
-
2.5% FA Forest Fruit
-
1.5% TFA Juicy Peach
1 drop/30ml of Cap Super Sweet is recommended.
Good as a shake and vape, but 3 days seems to be the sweet spot. As always I mixed at 60vg.
Edit: After comments from /u/N3moHoes and /u/worstadviceROC, and some re-mixing, I realized that I should have mentioned that this is a light flavor. After putting FF @5 and JP @2, it is indeed more enjoyable! Over the last few months I have been dialing back from making strong mixes, and got used to that. So mix this one according to your tastes (as if anyone didn't know this:)
I mix a version of PU on a regular basis but I need to hit FA FFM at 8% to get the full effect from it. Never tried adding Peach to mine but it's something I'll definitely be trying.
Max vg? 8% seems like a lot to me. But my palate is used to low %. I get plenty of flavor from this mix tho, always at 30-40w.
Let me know what you think if you do mix it!
I as well use a higher amount, 10% in tanks, 15-18% for my Juuls or similar small devices. However, a little Blackcurrant goes a long way with FF.
There is a clone recipe floating around, I believe it's 15% Forest Fruit and 5% (yes, 5%) Sweetener. The person I made it for says it's spot on; I was not brave enough to try it!
When I saw this, I went ahead and put 3% Juicy Peach in an existing bottle of 10% FF, and I'm really enjoying it, much more than expected. I've been trying to follow your lead and focus on GREAT 2-4 ingredient recipes, and I'm enjoying DIY much more than before. So for that, I can't thank you enough!
I mixed this up with 5%FF and 2%JP and its delicious. I couldnt imagine going higher, in fact i think i will try it at your original percentages next time. Another simple but tasty recipe from Coop, and it reminded me to mix up another bottle of your bourbon and kiwi as i've not had it for a while.
add 1% FA Fuji and some ws23 maybe some juicy lemon
edit: i just realized this is a clone attempt. those suggestions are not aimed at making this clone more accurate.
I'm trying this S&V with the 5%/2% version (I'm not used at high % with FF) and I must say I really love it ! Keep giving inspiration with your 2-3 ingredients recipes it's awesome !

Made this for a redditor who wanted something based on this:
http://www.tazo.com/herbal-tea/passion
I think I hit the nail right on the head. If you want something fruity, calming and lightly floral then look no further.
(can make without the black tea, its good either way)
Description by /u/theamdman on reddit:
"This juice is something different to try, it's nothing like the testosterone filled bottles that caress TFV12 tanks all over the country, but rather something to taste and enjoy a juice that is just pleasant, and not something savory to leave a bland yet powerful taste, instead a flavor that becomes more and more enjoyable, as if it's a fine wine that gets better as your taste buds acquire the caressing of a gentle, tropical hibiscus used to complement an orange stage with hints of black tea putting vocals in the instrumental. It itches an itch that you never even noticed that you had and gives your self a vape that really makes you taste and smell every bit of this nebulous nebula." Another thing I've noticed is that this juice also seems to be better at a lower power. It's really soft.

Sadly Blood Orange is the only one i have, but since i was thinking about picking up Honeysuckle (Longing sounds fantastic aswell..) and Passion (after TPAs Passionfruit let me down) i think i'll go all the way and pick em all up to give this one a try.
Thank you!
for sure! let me know if you ever do get the stuff, i'd say the only flavor you can really leave out is TPA hibiscus but it does add something to the mix. Having both hibiscus flavors in there leads to something special. The CAP one is more sweet and tropical and the TPA one is more true to the floral-ity, but at 1% it doesn't overpower the rest of the mix.
Damn. I don't have TFA Hibiscus, but based on your comments I am inclined to try some TFA Cherry Blossom in its stead. Do you have any thoughts on the matter?
Wolf Cola##
Ratio: 30PG/70VG
Steep: S&V
Ingredient|%| :--|:--| DF Ice -- Original|1.5%| FA Cola (USA Pleasure)|4%| FLV Rich Cinnamon|0.125%| INW Marzipan|1%|
This recipe tastes like a liter a' cola you got at the drive through that's been sitting for about 20 mins; right as it's super refreshing, slightly effeversecnt still, and diluted with much needed water (ice). The FA cola obviously carries most of the flavor, gaining a nice cherry body from the marzipan and using the ice to bring the flavor into a refreshing territory. One drop of Rich Cinnamon/30mL gives just an extra touch of spice and effervesence to promote the flavor of the only cola for true refreshment, Wolf Cola: Splash in to the beat.
The official eJuice of Boko Haram!
Looks nice. I may have to "remix" dropping the Rich Cinnamon and subbing in WS-23. Will it make one grow fur?
Vape enough of it and it will! The rich cinnamon is a nice accent, but I wouldn't recommend subbing out the Delosi Ice, it is kind of what makes this work the way it does. That being said, even if you made those changes you'd probably still have a pretty darn tasty drink vape on your hands!
How exactly does it get a cherry body from marzipan? Inawera marzipan is an intense, slightly sweet almond flavour where the natural bitterness of almond is only just counteracted by the sugary element. It's got a kind of dense nutty grain to it, a solidity that compares to actual homemade marzipan rather than the the overly-sweet bright yellow store-bought sort. Not Cherry :/ No worries though, the HIC section was to use FA Cola/ Black Cherry 2:1 mix, (kind of like this weird dr. pepper/mr.pebb/cola mix. Marzipan was added to the "Cherry Cola" to imitate dr. pepper because of the almond-ish taste in dr. pepper.
Cherries and Almonds are in the same family and thus share similar qualities. It's not a prominent Cherry flavor (as in it's more of an almond-cherry instead of straight up cherry), though it's certainly present. I get more cherry from INW Marzipan than I do FA Marzipan, which is why I used it here. I suppose it would have been more accurate to say that I used it for it's almond and cherry notes (since it does lend some good almond flavor), although the reason I grabbed it is for the cherry note that I get from it -- the other stuff is just a bonus.
I'm actually munching on some Marzipan dough and Marzipan candies right now in preparation for the NOTED show and I'm getting much more cherry flavor than I am almond; when I think almond I'm thinking more along the lines of a a raw almond, toasted almond, or almond butter flavor.
Nevertheless, it is an excellent ingredient for a soda type vape with the different qualities it offers and works wonderfully here.
Edit: Looks like the culprit here could be Benzaldehyde which is present in extractions from wild bitter almonds and is also a major contributor to the complex aromas of Apricots, Cherries, Plums, and Peaches

A tropical Mango/Grapefruit/Passionfruit blend, this is my first recipe from scratch. Figured a simple fruit mix would be the easiest profile to start with. My friend vapes fruits almost exclusively and I wanted to try and remix one of his favorites.
Used ID10-T's 4:1 ratio for FLV/CAP Mango to get that full ripe mango flavor. FLV Pink Guava masquerades as the Grapefruit with the FW Blood Orange adding some more citrus and sweetness. Kept the FA Passionfruit low as the throat hit was a bit distracting higher up. Pretty happy with how it came out as my friend said he enjoyed it more than the original.
this looks good. Gotta mix it when I have time =), been neglecting my pink guava
Thanks for giving it a chance! Didn't actually expect anyone to mix it up :D Hope you enjoy, if you do get around to making it would really appreciate hearing what you think.
This is really good. A better version of my mango recipe and a nice touch with the passion fruit (I used TFA Papaya in my blend for that tart taste)

Its like if Steve1989 wrote SCP
Wrote SCP?
Sorry, I thought the way you wrote it was intentionally kind of a like an SCP as that is exactly what it read like to me when I read it.
The SCP Foundation is an old website that has a ton of stuff in a similar fashion to your post.
>Operating clandestine and worldwide, the Foundation operates beyond jurisdiction, empowered and entrusted by every major national government with the task of containing anomalous objects, entities, and phenomena. These anomalies pose a significant threat to global security by threatening either physical or psychological harm.
>The Foundation maintains an extensive database of information regarding anomalies requiring Special Containment Procedures, commonly referred to as "SCPs". The primary Foundation database contains summaries of such anomalies and emergency procedures for maintaining or re-establishing safe containment in the case of a containment breach or other event.
There are a lot of really cool ones, just don't read anything past the first Series since the stories kind of turned to shit after it got really popular.
http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-series
The reason I mention Steve1989 is because he loves old smokes and packaged foods and would definitely consider it a good day if he found both. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vz5Y2Zg5w84
EDIT: Here is a better Steve video where its actually edible https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsVC0nnL2ns
This mix gots me intrigued and I have everything but the Marzipan...
Feel free to use a nutty type that you have. Can pm me if you have any questions
Mfg | Flavor | % ---|---|---- CAP | Golden Pineapple | 1% TFA | Jackfruit | 2% FLV | Mango | 3% PUR | Watermelon | 4%
/u/hashslingingslashur suggested adding "a fruit like strawberry, pineapple, or maybe some lime" to his delicious Jango recipe, which is worth a mix on its own but seems especially well-suited for use as an exotic tropical base to build on. I've been playing around with some combinations of Jango and other fruits off and on and this is the first one worth sharing. Sweet, ripe mango with bright, juicy watermelon. Yum!
awwww shieeet. I just commented on ATF . .. I am ordering PUR watermelon as I type this. Looks excellent! I've been meaning to play around with the jackfruit mango pairing and it looks like you've done a wonderful job here. Thanks for sharing !
I've tried that little mix of yours with lots of other fruits but PUR Watermelon was the first one to really make it sing.
> PUR watermelon
I will add PUR watermelon on my next order. MF Watermelon is expensive but very good and realistic. I've read a lot of positives on the PUR and ID10-T's opinion locks it in. I did mix this up with MFW and enjoyed it very much. Usually, I'm not a fan of straight fruit mixes without some sort of cream but this was nice. Great job and thanks for the share.
Think Medicine Flower Watermelon would work? PUR is probably the only watermelon I don't have. This looks good
I'm sorry, but I don't know, because I've never tried MF Watermelon. Your best bet is probably to try the original Jango recipe first and then decide if MF Watermelon is something that you think would be good in there.
PAPAYA-CHEE
Company | Flavor | % ---|---|---- CAP | Lychee | 2.5 TFA | Papaya | 2 TFA | Dragonfruit | 2 INW | Cactus | 1.5
Summer's closing and this has been my summer ADV.
Been mixing with nothing but TFA Papaya so this has been giving my my papaya fix. It's light in flavor, but it's impossible for me to put down. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do!
looks good. missing that CAP lychee but I might try this with FE lychee,, that shit is bomb.
This looks up my alley although I haven't ventured into Lychee land yet. I'm surprised you say it's light in flavor as I find TPA Papaya to almost approach TFA Honeydew in it's strength. Like I can literally taste one drop in a 10 ml mix of anything. I like it though so I don't mind its strength. I might have to get up to date on my Lychee.
Fantastic S&V, mixed at 2mg 70v/30p
Cactus is hidden nicely in the back with wet tropical fruit driving the bitch. Nicely done
TIL: Papaya and Lychee create a salivagasm
Just coming back in here to say I really enjoyed this. When I first tried it I wasn't convinced straight away. Then after a few minutes of vaping it the unusual aspect disappeared and it was really tasty. Just finished my second bottle and I can see it going into regular rotation.
Bit late to the party but just wanted to give you a pat on the back for this one. Very tasty.
Thanks man! I'm glad you liked it. Love hearing any feedback on recipes good or bad.
OR3O / Got Cookie? by Nicoticket
After much prevaricating on ECF forum, Kent Brooks (/u/nicoticket) saw fit to release to us unworthy masses the recipe for his OR3O ("Got Cookie?") juice on Instagram.
From what I can tell, it should be mixed at 50/50 VG/PG.
- 6% Double Chocolate (CAP)
- 4% Vanilla Custard (CAP) V1 or V2 "to preference"
- .25% Peppermint (CAP)
For the complete 2014 feeling, mix it whilst wearing drop-crotch pants after enduring an ice bucket challenge.
I'm sure OR3O was a huge seller but how about releasing one of the recipes people really want like Wakonda or the Virus or Custards Last Stand?
I know, right? I'm hanging out for someone to clone the Virus, but from what I've seen in various places on the web, no-one has really had a solid attempt at it. There are these recipes with ridiculously high percentages of unlikely concentrates circulating out there.
I'm of the totally unfounded opinion that it'll be a simple recipe with a small number of flavours - never mind the talk about custom naturally extracted tobaccos and whatnot.
May have something to do with their proprietary vanilla flavoring. I would love a recipe for Wakonda though.
I don't buy that. Wakonda is said to also have a proprietary coffee flavor. they could still release the recipe even if most of us won't have the vanilla or the coffee flavor. at least then some of the better mixers could figure out what subs would work best. I think what's going on is they might reopen and if they do they don't want recipes for the popular juices available to the public.
I'd like to see what the recipe for Grandma's Cinnamon Danish looks like, do you know if he will be releasing any more?
Don't know if he'll be releasing more - your guess is as good as mine.
GCD really didn't impress me that much. If I ever get a hankering for this flavor profile, I'd just mix up some Sugar Cookie - I'd wager that GCD contains a high percentage of CAP Cinnamon Danish Swirl.
TFA 5% Acetyl Pyrazine- .5%
FA Black Fire- .75%
FA Oakwood- 1.5%
TFA Red Oak- 1%
INW Tobacco Absolute Garuda- 1.5%
INW Dirty Neutral Base- 1.5%
INW Tobacco Symphony- 2%
Steep for 2 weeks at least.
This one is pretty intense, especially if you try it fresh. The oaks here work really nice together, and the Black Fire makes them taste charred. The tobaccos are a little nutty with the Tobacco Symphony- which is backed up with the AP, and leafy with the Garuda. An earlier version used INW 555 Gold instead of Symphony, and didn't have the Black Fire. Still a pretty decent earthy vape, but I prefer it a little more intense.
do you like AP in general with tobaccos or is it certain ones that really call for it?
Damn, my app made me noob it up and reply to you're comment with a new parent comment. How embarrassing. Here was my reply:
Usually I use it when I'm working with some nutty/earthy tobaccos or in a sort of sweet/dessert style recipes. If it's a straight tobacco I'm shooting for I usually don't use it.
Need to get me some Garuda. Recommend any sub in the meantime? I got all of FA and TFA/FW baccos and INW 555 / Gold, Symphony, Black Jack, AM4A, Gold Ducat, Sphynx, Burley, Drop Shisha, Vanilla for Pipe.
TIA
The shop I was using doesn't have Tobacco symphony in stock. Would you still recommend this with 555 Gold instead and at what percentage? I have a small amount left of my Tobacco symphony still, but I doubt it's 2%
Can I sub tobacco symphony ? I have almost all FA tobaccos, FLV native, Kentucky and cured tobacco and INW black for pipe...
I'd go with FLV Native. They are actually kind of similar in my opinion.
Hashemite Hookah
HS Arabic Tobacco - 2%
INW Latakia - 3.5%
FLV Arabian Tobacco - 1 drop/10ML (2 drops if youre brave)
MTS Vape Wizard - 1 drop/10ML
INW DNB - 1%
*optional FA Black Fire at 1 drop/10ML
Finally found a use for FLV Arabian Tobacco. Mind you, it dominates the recipe at first. You need to let this steep. After 3 days, it starts to die down. The Latakia is playing the background, so I might up it a percentage or two.
This is a floral Arabic cigarette mix, similar to what I smelt coming from the coffee shops in the Middle East. I like it in the morning with a higher nicotine level.
I've gone down to .1% on the FLV Arabian and it's still all I taste in a mix. I've got a 10% dilution of it made, so I'm going to start that off with 1 drop/10 ml and work up from there. There's something about it that I'd like to get in to a mix, but it's just so overpowering to me.
Edit: Oh yeah, we've talked about the Arabian before. I will have to get the HS Arabic and give this a shot.
The one lesson I learned from you as a mixer is to always shoot for a low percentage, especially with Inawera and Flavorah. All those flavors I hated in the past (Gold Ducat, AM4A, etc) are bearable now and add a new dynamic to my mixes. Definitely get HS Arabic. I just wish it were stronger. Top 5 for me.
Here is an example of "low percentage / tasty as hell" (well at least to me):
INW Gold Ducat - 2%
INW Captain Jack for Pipe - 2%
INW Am4A - .75%
INW Gold for Pipe - 1%
Gold Ducat goes great with Am4A as long as the latter is sub-1% (to me). The slightly sweet plum aroma in Am4A goes well with GD. The reason I was turned off by AM4A in that Wayne guy's Marlboro mix was because it was over 3-4%. It gets all chemically when mixed that high. Captain Jack for Pipe's citrus overtones at 2% allow it to be in the mix but not over power it. It brightens things up. Gold for Pipe above 1% overpowers any mix it touches. For this recipe, the slight ashy/smokey pipe aromas in G4P solidify this as a tobacco vape and not a sweet-somewhat-tobacco vape.
I've played with the Captain Jack a bit as a base flavor, and it always got old really fast. Like half a tank would be great, then it was just too much. I started using it .5-.75% and have had much better luck with it as more of an additive than a base flavor. Am4a is in the same boat as INW Latakia. I need to retry them both. Am4a tasted like cough medicine to me, so I want to test it at 1% and see what happens. Latakia I have a feeling they were trying to recreate FA Latakia, which doesn't really taste like real Latakia to me. But I've been buying and testing so many new flavors the last few months that retrying ones that I didn't like first time ends up getting pushed back.
With a lot of experimenting and tons of great help from /u/ID10-T, I've finally come up with a strawberry blend that I truly enjoy on my RDAs and isn't bland in my Crown 3.
Since I'm really enjoying this one I figured I'd share it. I'm somewhat of a strawberry non-taster. Sometimes I can taste it and sometimes I cannot. I get a lot of strawberry in this mix.
Cool Red Dragon (working title)
Ingredient|% :---|---: Dragonfruit (TPA)|3 Polar Blast (FA)|1 Strawberry (Ripe) (TPA)|2 Strawberry Shisha (INW)|4 Sweet Strawberry (CAP)|3 Sweetener (Sucralose) (TPA)|0.66
For the strawberry, I've been having mild success with the combination of Shisha and CAP Sweet, but FA Red Touch gives my juices a dryness that I wasn't sure how to work around, so I ditched it entirely in favor using Ripe in the same percentage.
Even so it was still a bit mild in the strawberry, so I said screw it and tripled the amount of Dragonfruit that I've been using. For me, it turns out this was the key all along. I just needed a lot more Dragonfruit in there.
Obviously the flavor of the dragonfruit is coming through at 3%, but the flavor from the strawberry is super strong now! It's a very complimentary duo.
Polar Blast I just wasn't feeling it at all at 0.5% or 0.75%. I'm getting a mild coolness that I was aiming for when used at 1%.
The sweetener is totally unnecessary, but I just wanted to make it a touch sweeter than it was without it at all. I didn't notice it much at all at 0.5%, and it was almost cloying at 1%. It's just right for me at 0.66%.
Is the polar blast a menthol type flavor? What does it do to round out the mix? Thanks!
/u/ID10-T suggested it but it's a cooling agent similar to Koolada. Activates the cold receptors without the minty taste. It's different for everyone though.
I can barely feel it at all until 0.75%, and it fouls up a mix at 3% and above. It's overpowering coldness for some people at just 1% though.
I've heard WS-23 is better.
Í have been working on a strawberry profile too. I originally had CAP Strawberry Sweet in it, but then dropped it out. It always muted everything (EM probably).
My final result was 3% INW Shisha Strawberry, 4% TFA Ripe and 1% FA.

Copy/paste from ATF:
I got FA Fuji because someone requested an apple juice, and it seemed pretty popular and mostly well reviewed. I'm not a big fan of fruity vapes, but that juice turned out pretty damn good. It got me to thinking about an apple tobacco, and then it just sort of clicked- add that shit to my clone of The Duke. The Duke has everything that goes well with apple. A bit of cinnamon from the Hongtashan, a bit of caramel, the AP and caramel together mix to almost taste like caramel popcorn (when people smelled the real Duke and also my clone they say that's what it smells like), and a nice, light nutty tobacco from Tobacco Symphony. Threw in a little RF SC Almond to blend the Fuji with everything else. It's a bit of a sweeter, bright Almond that bridges the gap quite nicely between the deeper notes in the Duke base. Fuji sits right on top of it all like it was always meant to be there. It's actually messed with my head a little to where I go back to just The Duke and I swear I taste apple in there. Match made in heaven.
Tasting notes: At the front end of the exhale the Apple and caramel are right there. The Apple stays with the entire exhale, and the cinnamon from the Hongtashan comes at the back end. It has a very nice bite on the tongue.
You think SC Almond could be substituted with toasted almond?
I have not had that one, but I imagine it could work. The almond isn't there so much for taste. It's more to kind of sweeten up the nuttiness from the AP and and Tobacco Symphony to blend better with the Apple. So as long as it's not a toasted almond, I'd give it a shot.

I should be banned for abuse of slush recipes. The heat is thick here in Cali as summer takes hold so I can't stop this slush train. This isn't anything ground breaking and perhaps not even a spot on slush but it is a refreshing tasty vape.
The combination of Cactus/Marshmallow/Dragon Fruit/Sweetener and WS-23 form a wet (never moist) base that has a syrupy somewhat thick mouth feel. Not your grainy ice crystal slushy...your smooth as silk icee type.
Cactus is great for its' juicy qualities but it is a damn strong flavor-not the most neutral base so instead of fighting it we marry it with a good solid dose of citrus. Lemon Sicily and Florida Key Lime bridge the gap between the cactus and the true star of the show. Flavorah Lime comes to the front and rides this syrupy chilled citrus sludge straight to pop sickle land. You like lime Otter Pops...well...mix it up.
What's the highest you've pushed WS-23? I'm really liking 3% in these slushies. One thing I've noticed, WS-23 seems to vary in it's effect based on the other ingredients. So far with fruits, 3% is COLD. With bakery/ice cream recipes, 1% is plenty cold. Paradoxically, 4%-5% seems to be needed with mint and menthol recipes to get the same level of cold.
I don't know if it's just my palate or an actual chemical process that makes it so different, interested to hear others opinions/thoughts.
Hot damn I thought I was a freak at 1%. At .5% I want more ...at 1% it satisfies....I have FA's Arctic Winter Menthol and FA's Polar Blast and I would say this WS-23 is roughly twice as cold. It is a more prominent sensation I would say...3% man your a nut hahahaha....if I get a drop on my lip at 1% it is cold/numbing. As far as a 'transparent' cooling agent I think it destroys polar blast. I have thought of combining it with Arctic Winter to make a colder menthol on profiles I want menthol...but 3% your a bigger man than I hahahhah! I will admit there times during the day when my brain sort of shuts off to the coldness but a short break and it hits me again. I made a banana ice cream type vape and it hits great at 1%. I will experiment on my fruits ...maybe bump to 1.5% ...3 hmmmmmm...maybe not...: )
I've been pushing it higher and higher with a recipe I'm working on. I found that, for me, in that recipe, the line between pleasure and pain lies somewhere between 1.5% and 1.6%.
Well, that was my initial impression of 1.6 versus 1.5. After a while, I started to get used to the 1.6 and enjoy it. I'm afraid WS-23 might be like a drug where you just keep needing more and more get the same high.
If this theory is correct, /u/WorstAdviceROC might be beyond help, but it's not too late for you and I to go to rehab.
I am super sensitive to FLV Lime, or I got a super concentrated batch from GRM, but I'll be giving this a whirl at a reduced FLV %. Although "my" version will be slightly different, I'll be sure to report back.
TIA
I hear you it is a very potent flavor and pushed too high without support can go "cleaning products" for sure. I had it at .6% originally but ended up bumping it up a little to really drive home that artificial lime flavor. The complexity of the cactus and softness of the marshmallow tames it a bit' but although I shake and vape it no prob it does smooth out noticeably in 24-48 hours. Probably the EM in the marshmallow takes down some of the edge as well.

Here's how i got here
The nectarine- Tpa nectarine is probably my favorite peach/nectarine flavor, but it's all top notes, that's where INW peach comes in with its syrupy/fleshy body and dark subtle sweetness works perfectly here.
The cider- We all know what FA liquid amber does and at 1.5% works perfect to take the nectarine and turn it into the cider, but i felt it need a little bit of body, so toasted marshmallow it is. the toasted note also works very well with the liquid amber.

I was going to make this my first published recipe on ATF then realized you have to pay. I'll probably pay to join in on the fun. Here's my notes:
INW Gold Ducat: I was testing this as a single flavor and getting the same flavors as others: rich medium tobacco, a syrupy feel, sweetness, golden raisin, maybe a hint of spice and nuts, the usual INW tobacco complexity...but then I realized a strong component of the flavor. Butter! To me it has a strong golden butter taste that is absolutely delicious. I then thought of the funny meme of people putting butter in their coffee.
FA Dark Bean (Coffee Espresso): Extremely strong and a solid coffee flavor. I find it off-putting in this mix until it settles down and the Gold Ducat starts to really pop. The AP in Dark Bean adds deliciousness and may accentuate nuttiness in the tobacco depending on your taste buds.
FA Vanilla Bourbon: A luxurious, mature vanilla that lingers in the background and gives a comfortable mouthfeel to the recipe.

After hearing about the competition the mix life crew did between Dave and Rick with a FLV only recipe, I got inspired to try to create my own recipe within the same parameters.
It would have been easy to do a simple tropical fruit or a tobacco, so I decided to go with a bakery instead. Have you ever seen those Taste Kake sweet rolls in the stores? Well they have seasonal flavors too, and one of their summer flavors is Blueberry sweet rolls. The are more or less a cinnamon roll, but instead of cinnamon they have some sort of blueberry filling in them. It's not just blueberries baked in and it's not a blueberry jam, it's weird actually, but in a good way.

The tester i made 2 days ago, tastes already really good. The lime will taste strong as a shake and vape but it's already starting to calm down. It's a smooth vape and get a lot of cheesecake yumminess :D Probably will have to whip a bigger batch up to let it steep, it will only get better i reckon
Nice! Gotta give this a try. I only have key lime (TFA) could someone suggest a good percentage to sub for the inw lime? Is that a sub that would work?
I think it would work. I dont have key lime though. But i reckon u will need to use 3% maybe? Let me know how your mix has turned out
Will do! I just did a different juice earlier tonight with the TFA key lime, might need to steep a bit more but I'm not sure I like it much - seems to have a pledge cleaner type thing going on. Gonna have to grab a few others and see how I like them. Thanks for the % suggestion, might get around to doing your recipie with the TFA sub tomorrow
Looks good and I love this profile. I am by no means an expert in bakeries but just based on looking at the recipe I would probably drop the custard and cream percentages way down and perhaps swap out one of the creams with a bakery note like graham cracker clear/tpa pie crust or biscuit (INW) to balance the cream cheese/crust ratio. The lime you might want to investigate that florida key lime by fa-depending on how far you want to chase the profile. Looks tasty and Dapalicious though hahahha...
I'm contributing one of my recipes I've vaped a lot past week.
Recipe has been around for a while, recently really fell into my liking after a few changes.
- 1% Blueberry (extra) (TPA)
- 1% Cactus (INAWERA)
- 1% Lemon Sicily (FA)
- 1% Lime (INAWERA)
- 1% Lime Tahity (Distilled) (FA)
- 1% Raspberry (Malina Koncentrat) (INAWERA)
- 1.25% Strawberry Shisha (INAWERA)
Who is this recipe for?
This recipe suits anyone who likes fruit vapes with a light woof of candy.
Notes:
This recipe serves up lime and cactus as the main profile.
Inhale leaves the taste buds buzzing with a sweet candy like lime, exhaling reveals the stingy cactus.
Adding koolada to your liking does great together with the cactus on exhale.
Only limes I have are TPA Key Lime and FA Lime Tahity (Cold Pressed). Anything I can do here, or should I hold off until I can get the other limes?
I definitely think you should hold off until you can get the other citrus/lime flavors, if you wanna mix the exact profile specifically described in the recipe.
Lime tahity (Distilled) and Inaweras lime is really important for the profile imo.
However, if you decide to sub for other flavors, please share your flavor notes and judgment of the juice you mix! :)

BROWN NOTE: A dry authentic tobacco, been hunting this one out for a while. have lots of INW and FA tobaccos and some of them are great for Tobacco blends like plum, chocolate, etc but I just want a straight non sweet tobacco. This does have a tad wet back ground sweetness but the main note here is a dry taylor made malboro (maybe, don't smoke anymore ya know) style cigarette.

Apple (TFA) 3%
Koolada 1.5%
Juicy Peach (TFA) 6%
Strawberry (TFA) 8%
It's good as a SNV but it really needs about 12-24 hours for the Koolada to mellow out and blend.
You can probably get away with using whatever Apple and Strawberry you want (i.e. Fuji Apple, Strawberry Ripe).
That's the exact same recipe as Glass Apple???

*With the minor difference in the brands used.
How does it compare to Reds? I'm still trying to find a clone of that.
Well.....shit on me. I guess the name of it is Glass Apple then. I don't know in regards to how it compares to Reds. I do know that I used TFA Green Apple in the 60ml batch I just made and it tastes awesome.

Ever since I was a kid I loved the taste of Swedish Fish and I wanted to envision what a Blue Raspberry one would taste like. So here's my take on it... I really would like some feedback on what you think. Right now it's not quite yet there but I'm still loving it. You can probably leave out the Koolada but I like some coolness to my juice.

Hi guys im new at diy but have done extensive research into the subject, i have ordered my nicotine (100mg) mixing equipment, a pre mixed vg70 pg30 base. That looks dangerous, downright painful. Just leave that Blackberry out of rotation for bit, until you get some experience... That's some potent shit!
Was given a massive 16oz bottle of TPA irish cream from a friend that decided to move his small juice company away from any diketone flavorings. Wanted to figure out a way to use it so i decided to try my hand at my second original recipie. This is just the first draft but id love to get some feedback - haha take it easy on me im kind of winging it at this point. Any feedback or suggestions is much appreciated!
So what i was going for was a Pralines and Cream Ice cream flavor, with little bits of half frozen bakery bits throughout the ice cream (dunno what those things are called); and topped off with a splash of baileys liqueur to add a bit of an alcoholic irish cream taste. This recipe is very much a work in progress, i just came up with it last night and just mixed my first tester bottle. So far its a pretty decent Shake and Vape, i feel like there are things i could do to make the individual flavor notes stand apart from each other though. The nuttyness seems like it could be more prominent. Of course this one will probably change after a steep as well, so i will have to wait and see how it turns out. (Tastes better after an overnight steep)

Ok..taste wise sure. Not much like balut, except the egg-ish random tongue visits of the Custard (INW).
Like balut it has some checks in "this is not good" column. The brie and butter sometimes demand synthetic tribute, though retract their butryic claims to the forces of peanuts and popcorn.
