Just an FYI, the batch of cards stolen from Wizard Labs is still out there. I just got a probe charge for .01 from a company called Little Falls Trophy. Called my bank and shut down this card. If you thought you were safe from the breach that happened at the end of May, think again. In hindsight I should have pro actively cancelled the card. edit: spelling
I'll take this time to plug privacy.com
Create burner credit cards on the fly, or recurring cards for stuff like Netflix. I haven't used my real name, email address, or credit card number in any of my online transactions (including stuff like ordering dominos) in months!
Edit: since people thing it's weird I used my referral code, don't use it. But SERIOUSLY consider some sort of service like this. Protect your wallets!
I've looked at them, but honestly, I've never heard of "Pay With Privacy, Inc" and I'm a little bit tetchy about giving them access to my bank account.
I really wish Discover hadn't cancelled their disposable card feature. =\
This shit happened to me yesterday. Caught it a little too late. Saw a 1cent charge at the same place as OP and then 5 charges of $140 at adidas website.
I feel like whoever used my card to buys shoes or whatever should be found out. I mean they have to put a shipping address in there, right?
They ship to someone else's address and either camp there waiting for the package, or pay someone to camp there for them.
I had the same occur about a month ago. Had no idea WL had this issue and I must have missed the post last time there was a stink about it on this sub. The thief charged like $350 over 3 purchases to macys.com. Thankfully, Fidelity is pretty good about reversing that. Sticking with BC and low limit/burner cards now.
So who knows the answer to this, when you are charged the "probe" charge, is that physically done at the business that shows the charge? Is there someone at this business who has a hold of a bunch of stolen card info who is making these initial charges?
I'm wondering the same thing. My theory is that someone with physical access to the POS system in the store is testing out batches of stolen cards that they've purchased on the dark web.
That, or the store's merchant account system has been breached, and it's being used to do this.
/u/punk_says_fuck_you says his card was stolen as well, and was used at a physical Adidas store in Brooklyn, New York. Not far from New Jersey, where Little Falls Trophy seems to be located.
>My card was also stolen and used at an adidas shop up in Brooklyn New York. I found the chick that took it too.
/u/labwel Said that his card was used for Adidas as well.

I've contacted the fraud department for Chase again and told them about this thread and all of the other test charges that were made at Little Falls Trophy.
I had mine run on July 1. First a $0.01 probe charge from Valerie Atksson Design in Salt Lake City, then $1.00 from iTunes, and finally $49.48 from iTunes which my bank informed me originated from Ireland, which I have to assume was the thief using a VPN.
So, does WizardLabs know about this, and are they fixing it? I haven't found another vendor that will sell me 120ml bottles of TFA for $6...
Have you tried TFA themselves? Just get a bulk license with them. Everything is priced a bit differently(I checked a few and some were less than WizardLabs and some were more) but it should at least be competitive. You can even buy bigger than 4oz bottles if you want.
My card was probed, from Wizard labs site! for less than a dollar, then reversed, and then a charge was made for 240$ at a bloomingdales .com. how stupid to test the card, at the lab, and I hadn't made a purchase since June, 2017. This has to be an inside job, correct me if I am misunderstanding, please. I won't be using Wizard labs again. I don't like what I read, in their reply, taking no responsibility in the response I read.
