Crazy title was trying to be creative anyways I usually always mix fruit but I have stopped lately because ever recipe that has koolada or polar blast just has no minty or menthol flavor to me. I know that it is suppose to be so I'm wondering if there isn't enough in it or what's going on if there a recipe where it heavy and minty I'd love to mix it (☞゚ヮ゚)☞ Unless I just can't feel minty juice any more

INW Eucalyptus with Mint
Thank you for your reply ! Is that just a really heavy mint flavor from the reviews I'm seeing on bcf in your own opinion is eucalyptus very prominent in that concentrate? q(●‿●)p
It's like vaping Vicks. The Eucalyptus is indeed very prominent. But there's mint in there too.
Personally I prefer WS-23 for coldness due to the lack of flavor but if you want something cold and flavorful, Euc w/mint. If you must want mint without the eucalyptus, but also want cold, maybe mix INW Natural Mint with WS-23.
If you can get straight-up menthol crystals, try making a near-saturated mix. Careful when adding it tho because menthol, when it's too strong, will feel like fire on your trachea.
It's real easy. Take a bottle. Fill it with menthol crystals and add PG. Let it steep. When it's no longer dissolving the crystals decant the liquid into a bottle for storage. I did this when TFA used to sell raw menthol crystals and for a 30ml bottle a single drop or two was enough to ramp up the cold. Though I noticed that as it steeps the menthol gets stronger (I had to toss a full 30ml bottle of liquid because I added a full ml of the stuff.)
But when you work with straight-up menthol crystals, you'll get a much stronger mentholated flavour. It's basically all the minty punch of mint without the flavour of the mint. Perfect if you want an icy-hot liquid (adding cinnamaldehyde for the tingle/burn) that's just the sensations without having to worry about balancing flavours.
That sounds amazing thank you for your reply I'm def going to try that !!!
it's worth noting that pure menthol will taste... off. like, chemically/astringent. i use it a lot in a 10% dilution.
you can use ELR to mix it up.
set menthol crystals to 10%
PG to 100%
mix
in a 30ml bottle it should be 3g of crushed menthol crystals. I think. It's been a while. you'll need to warm the bottle so the menthol can dissolve into it. a hot water bath will do the trick. if it ever crystallizes again just heat and shake again.
Koolada, the most common explanation I've heard for it. It's menthol cold without the menthol. Extreme ice for the menthol, or just menthol crystals.
I have some Koolada, but for whatever reason I get next to no coolness from it at all. I tried anywhere from 1 drop per 10ml to 2%. The ultra faint coolness never increases in potency, but it gets harsher the more I use.
I'm an absolute beginner, so maybe I'm doing something wrong, I don't know. I'm going for a mint candy vape anyway so I might as well move onto menthol.
