I'm wanting to get into mixing for the freedom and money, mainly money. There is three of us who would use it, all like fruit/sweet mainly and the odd bakery flavours.

Basically I'm wanting to know exactly what I need, what's the difference between the brands (FA, cap etc) Is the price difference for quality?

Also can I mix with pure vg if I use pg nic and pg flavours? (Aiming for high vg)

And what flavour concentrates are a must have for most recipes, and best place to buy them? (UK if you couldn't work out by the flavour spelling ;) )

TL;DR what flavour concentrates should I buy, what brand and where from including nic (uk), do I need pg, and generally how 'big' should my first order be?

I'm not finding any real flavor reviews for FLV Vanilla Pudding. Would anyone like to share some anecdotes with me?

Help my TFA Malted Milk looks funny.

I got 30mls Malted Milk from Wizard Labs and after I used it yesterday there looks like a bunch of little floaties in it. Do you think it's still good? I know my equipment was all clean and I'm letting it sit on the counter and warm up. I store all my stuff in the fridge. Any ideas?

After 2.5 years of diy, I just now mixed up my first all fruit mix. I think my tongue needs a break from all the tobaccos because I think I'm starting to not be able to pick out all the subtleties in them. The question:

Will this always taste like soap, or is it just for now?

I'm clueless with fruits, and these were the only 3 I have, so I just gave it a whirl. My buddy vapes fruits and they all taste just like this to me, so I think it's just my tongue. Unless anyone sees anything there that shouts soap to them. I'll take your advice and tuck it away deep in my memory for the next time I decide I should try some fruits.

Hey guys not exactly a new mixer , in fact I've gotten to the point where I have about a hundred different concentrates. But that's my problem, whenever I'm trying to mix or thinktank a recipe I have a terrible time sorting through all my flavors to find what I need. Do you guys own a display or something similar so you can see all your bottles clearly ?

Right now I'm using a big lockbox so I can keep my Nic, scale, PG, VG etc all in one nice place. Is there a cost effective solution for keeping everything tidy and in order while being able to see all my flavors ?

I'm buying my first bottle of nicotine base from nude nicotine, and want to buy some flavorings where I could just pour the base into a 60ml unicorn, drop a few drops into the bottle, shake, and vape, all within 5 minutes. I don't care about high quality taste, as long as it tastes like fruit or bakery, I'm fine. Should I buy them at NudeNicotine or do these require extensive steep times? I'm trying to avoid having my room look like a science laboratory.

Shop I went to only had 2,4% juice and i have never used juices with precentages.

Also do you know anything about iFresh juices. I have never tried them, but right now i can't get anything else.

Hi new mixer here and I have a question about contamination and cleaning. I rinse out thoroughly the syringes/pipets/bottles that I use but I'm worried about Long term contamination, how do u guys clean your bits/bottles so they don't hold the smells anymore? Do you bin after a certain amount of time? Does it ingrain over time that it's past cleaning it out?

I've got Bronuts concentrate and I really don't seem to gel with it at all. I find the taste far too chocolate and rich. It makes me feel a bit sick after vaping it for a while. Is there anything I can add to "lighten" it? I do t want to waste the concentrate

I tried it with 100 ml a bit ago and it seemed to help some. A Cake batter was ready to vape within an hour (used mixer to froth it up -4 times forgot to heath bathe it) ... tasting alright.

Is there something to pre mixing your vg/pg ?

I premixed 750 ml of vg/pg at 80/20 with 3.5 mg of nicotine .. I figured by adding the 8-15 percent for flavors (90% of the time I'm around 10%) it will make it roughly 70/30 vg/pg and I have been vaping right around that level.

Figure I can also pour 90ml of that with 10 ml of flavoring and still get my 3% nicotine (or roughly a bit more - I don't need perfection. This is personal not for store usage) Main question is ... Does pre steeping the vg/pg and nicotine together make vaping after the flavor is added ready more quickly ?

I thought about it and maybe that's how vape shops also make their ejuice vape ready so much more quickly. Like I said - last time I tried it did improve the quality a bit .. But I'm not sure if there was something to it or it was a fluke. I will know soon as I've been steeping my vg/pg mix for 2 days now, with 3 hot water baths today ... dark cabinet last night. Dark cabinet tonight.

Sorry - Not a question but felt compelled to post. I received my kit yesterday and mixed my first 2 juices. 10ml of FW Sour Blue Raspberry and 10ml of CAP Cool Mint. Couldn't help but put some of the raspberry in a spare tank and keep trying it. The flavour is already coming through. Kind of exciting.

I've only been vaping for about a month now but I found some USP grade PG, VG and some banana cream online in amounts small enough for me to mess with. I just rinsed out one of my old glass jars really well. I used a plastic pipette (1ml) that we had for essential oils (using them as potpourri) and a syringe (used to backflush my sawyer filter, never actually used). I washed everything out thoroughly and then came up with this recipe, going for a 60/40. Yeah, this is ghetto style, but first batch. I believe in starting off small and cheap until you know what your'e doing. 9 ml VG (60%) .75 flavor (5%) 5.25 PG (35%) The flavor was in PG, so that's 60/40 VG to PG. Ok wait, I think I just discovered my first mistake LoL. Well, it IS 60/40, just not quite in the right order I guess. I intentionally didn't bother with nicotine. I wanted to get the basics down first. Anyhow, it tastes GOOD ! Doesn't have that extra little oomph that the store bought does, but it's passable for the price. I can buy the storebought when I want to treat myself, but if you're in this sub you already know how expensive the store bought stuff can be. So I have about 15 mils of this stuff, I'll vape through it and see how I like it after a full tank, and then probably just do it again. Maybe I'll get some storebought 12 to add nic, or maybe just get some nic on my own. I don't know if I can get small cheap quantities of that, and I'm not ready to jump into like quart sized containers. So far so good though !

Alright so, I want to start making my own juice, I just don't know where exactly to start. I was originally going to get the 80/20 base from liquid barn, but some of the recipes I've found say 70/30 or 60/40. At this point I wonder if I would be required to buy a PG diluent to make 70/30 from a premixed 80/20 Eliquid. Don't get me wrong I have no problem messing around with the 80/20 to start, in the future though I'd like to make up some clone recipes accurately. Any insight from you guys?

Hey guys, I want to start mixing my first fruit flavors. I can't buy a lot of different flavors yet so I was hoping I could get some recommendations on a handful of flavors that will give some good bang for the buck. Such as Cap Harvet Berry or FA Forest Fruit because they are good by themselves. (I can only buy Cap and FA flavors)

I'm thinking single fruit flavor mixes or maybe 2 flavor combos, max 3 flavors. I'd like to buy maybe 8 flavors that will let me mix up as many different juices as possible. I'm open to any fruit flavors, I think I'll like them all (so far I've loved commercial flavored juices with grape, blackcurrant, mango, pineapple, honeydew)

What bottles do you guys use? HDPE, LDPE, PET, glass?

Hi! I was about to buy the concentrates for Honeydewie remix made by DIYORDIE. But in my country the only honeydew I find is (TPA) Honeydew II. Should I buy this one or use another Honeydew like CAP?

Weight per 1ml Seems like this varies all over. What settings are people using for PG and VG? Seems 1.26g is the most common for VG but the PG varies a lot more. is 1.038 a reasonable weight?

So I have a question and please forgive me if it has been answered a 100 times already. How to make my e juice sweeter overall, without losing flavor and tasting just sweetness on exhale. I guess I am looking for a way to pop sweetness in my strawberry or pineapple flavors, but without losing flavors. I have CAP Super Sweet, I use it at no more than 1%. It kinda leaves sweetener taste afterwards and tends to mute the flavor. What else could I use? So far I've used TPA Sweetener and CAP Super Sweet.

One short question. I'm currently steeping 100ml of tobbaco e-liquid (70vg/30pg 6 mg nic), made it one week ago.

Is it a good idea to open the bottle for 1-2 minutes to let new air in or I will lose flavor this way ? I already know that you have to shake the bottle every 3-4 days while it's steeping.

Hello guys, i recently returned to vaping, entering the RTA field with a Goblin Mini v3 + Pico. However, the cost of e-liquids here in Europe, is pretty massive (6e/10ml). Here is Greece we are under the Nicotine EU law as well, allowing for max 10ml bottle of 20mg/ml Nicotine boosters.

I did some research, here and in the Internet and ended up ordering these things as a "starter", balanced kit. (I hope so)

The second question the creator used a 40 PG/ 60 vg base I would use 50/50 ... Are there differences? Sorry for the bad english

Hello, guys! I need some help figuring out the math regarding my DIY e-liquid. Since this is my first time trying to make my own e-liquid, I find the ratios quite confusing.

Here are the things I have, Premixed base (1000ml) : 70/30 VPG; Nicotine (20mg/ml): 50/50 VPG; Flavour (10 ml): PG based;

Target: For starters, I would like to first try and make a 10ml batch with nicotine strength of 4mg/ml and hopefully, it has the ratio of 70/30 or at best 60/40.

Now I am not entirely sure if I should have got liquid nicotine shots that contained the same amount VPG ratio or can it be tweaked to achieve the target product?

How do I go about this?

Mistake buying Premix

Having been playing around with on-line juice calculators and my own calculations I just realized an error in ordering 70/30 mix.(VG/PG). Especially when mixing by weight not volume

if I put the weights in for PG and VG separately and run the calculation I notice that the calculator is accounting for more pg in my nic and flavour so increasing the VG required.

Seems a work around is to put in the weight per ml of my premix as if it was PG and do the calculation for 100% pg mix - this gets the weight correct.

But assuming I go for 10ml total volume, 3mg/ml Nic and 4% flavour mixed with 70/30 I am really creating a 63/37 juice.

I have got the math right here? approx 0.6g nic and 0.4 flavour = 1 gram which is 10% of the mix and VG which is then mixed with 70/30 gives 63/37 ratio edit: forgot to mention I am using 48mg/ml nic.

Edit: somehow I didnt see the post right below this - seems that this confirms my math. Guess the post wasn't there when I started my math and forgot to see if some-one posted an answer while I was doing it :)

I will try the 63/37 and see how I go and buy some VG if I want more.

Best coconut for use in a custard?

new-ish mixer here. I've made a ton of other peoples recipes but now I'm trying to craft a few for myself. custards are my mainstay and trying to put together a creamy coconut custard. So far I have TPA Bavarian cream; CAP or TFA Vanilla Custard; a touch of marshmallow for mouth feel and a bit of either whipped cream or fresh cream to lighten it up. Choosing the right coconut is what I'm having trouble with. I have several to choose from (including coconut candies) and tried TPA coconut extra at 1.5% which gave the mix a weird taste. What coconuts do you think would go well here and roughly at what percent? Would dropping the coconut extra down to say .75 or 1% do the trick? Last it seems to me coconut extra is not just a super strong version of TPA coconut but something all together different. any thoughts on that?

I just got in my first flavors for mixing my own. We love menthol's and mints here so of course I picked up a few of those and koolada. I ordered from gremlins, really nice company btw.

Now to the question, I have a bottle of LorAnns Peppermint Oil that I use in my coffee sometimes. The ingredients on the bottle say 100% essential oil. So I know essential oil does not have any lipids in it so should be safe to vape. Is there actual oil in this or some other dangerous property?

Hello! I'm a relatively new mixer and any flavour that contains any sort of dessert/cream rips my throat really bad. Every fruit mix turns out awesome, smooth and a proper throat hit. Anything with Custard (V1 or V2) VBIC, doughnut etc is just super harsh. Bavarian Cream isn't so bad, nor is Vanilla Swirl. I'm at my wits end because I don't wanna vape fruit forever.

Just read that if you let the e-liquid "breathe" it will lose some flavor. I can't vape juices that have a lot of flavoring in it(15-20) beacause it makes me sick. As the most of the recipes today have that much flavor( for me at least) , is breathing a better solution than cutting off 20-30% of the flavoring?

Broke a cardinal rule and placed an order before doing my research. When I got my Noisy Cricket II, I also bought 30mL of nic from vapewild because I was broke. Just read the PSA that was posted about 10 months ago and now I'm afraid to use it. It's not murky or separated or giving off any weird smells. So I have been DiYing for awhile now and wouldn't consider myself new but still fairly amateurish as in I have only done single flavor testing in flavors I really like, my own recipes tend to be 2-4 flavors as I am not very good at layering or balancing flavors and although I am starting to amass a large collection of flavors I would be hard pressed to tell you what half of them taste like by themselves out of the mixes I enjoy them in.

My question and problem is I cannot find or make a recipe for an accurate tasting captain crunch and I have tried many. I am looking for something that tastes like Vapor Trail Northwest's Crunch Addict (VTNW is no longer in business sadly) Coval's Cereal 7 tastes somewhat close to what I am looking for. All of the mixes I have tried on All The flavors and ELR taste nothing like captain crunch. I have tried mixtures of TFA Berry Crunch,cereal 27, fw crunch cereal, fruit rings, fruity pebbles (I have not tried flavorahs crunch but heard it's disgusting) I am tired of mixing sink juice help me someone please

i have a nice recepie that works well without nic! but when i add nic to the mix (use online calc to maintain the VG/PG correct) the juice gets extremely harsh on the throat! even on 3mg, ive been trying with "ShakeandVape" fruit flavors, do i need to let it steep for like a week because of the nicotine??

I made some juice, and it has a very "dry" feeling to it. Also, It literally drys my mouth out quite a bit. I am mixing at 60/40 VG/PG. I know PG drys you out, but this is ridiculous. Help save my saliva!!

Hi guys I'm looking to make a good strawberry liquid. Will 3:1 tfa strawberry ripe and strawberry work or would you add anything else to it? Like strawberry shisha or another fruit?

Wanting to make a nice glazed lemon poppyseed cake/muffin. Im a complete noob when it comes to making my own recipies but i have looked up a few real poppyseed cake recipies and am getting ideas for what flavors would work best. Heres some flavors i own and have picked out (that might work well in this mix). Any percentage suggestions or flavor suggestions are much appreciated!

Heres the flavorings im thinking about using:

• FW Yellow Cake - A classic flavoring that will hopefully give that nice fluffy, buttery cake flavor.
• CAP Butter Cream or CAP Golden Butter - To emulate that buttery baked taste, will probably use this at low percentages
• CAP Juicy Lemon or FA Lemon Sicily - Thinking of using both of these together, as far as i understand lemon sicily seems better suited for bakery flavors and has a creamy element to it?
• CAP French Vanilla or TPA Vanilla Swirl - To add some nice subtle vanilla to the mix, hopefully will round out rough edges and add some smoothness. Not sure which one will work best. Also will hopefully add to the glaze flavor notes.
• TPA Sweet Cream or FA Fresh Cream - Hopefully will add some sweetness to the mix and emulate the sugary glaze along with the vanilla notes
• I also have some other flavorings that might work well/replace what i have listed above (CAP Sugar Cookie, INW Biscuit, TPA Grahamcracker Clear, FA Joy, TPA Marshmallow, FA Meringue, TPA Whipped Cream, TPA Bavarian Cream)

Now what i am completely lost on, is how i would be able to emulate the poppyseed flavor in this recipe. I have some hazelnut flavoring and i also have some AP but i have no idea if either of those would even get remotely close to what im looking for.

Really would appreciate some help, hopefully this post doesnt annoy any of you - i tried to add as much info as i could with notes and reasoning for my concentrate selections. I searched on ELR and can not find any recipes for a Lemon Poppyseed muffin or cake, i would just try and adapt one of those mixes if they were available. I know this flavor is possible to make because ive had a lemon poppyseed juice before and it was bang on and is one of my all time fav juices.
