I have a raspberry pi 3 that I want to use to calculate and store my recipes and was wondering if anyone has made an app for it yet? I have considered using an online calculator but found it too slow on this setup.
I'm sorry that I won't be much help here, but I have to ask...
What would be the benefit of using the raspberry pi for this over just using a computer and an online calculator? Or is this just a sort of challenge for shiggles?
That seems like a highly inconvenient way of keeping track of and creating recipes. The Pi is a computer by the way. It runs Linux software. Why not just use your phone or a PC?
I just have it around and figured I'd put it to good use. I also prefer to type on a keyboard when I'm mixing as things get too messy for touch screens.
When I read this I immediately imagined someone running a juice calculator on a pipboy.
An app, as in a normal Linux program (command line or GUI), or something specialized for one of the specialized accessory touchscreens?
