goint to europe for a month, I want to buy some eu flavors---suggestions?
submitted about 8 years ago by materoxxx

Hi all, In a couple of weeks I'm going to visit my family in Italy and i would like to buy online some aromas that are not easily found in the US to bring back. Since I have no idea about brands there that I can't find in the US any suggestions is apprecitaed. I tried to read some italian forums about it nad there are brands that I had no idea existed. The ideal would be a european webiste I can order from that ships to italy. I already have a lot of TFA/CAP/FA/INW/FLV/RF etc, so I'm asking if there are any "must try" that you can only find in europe. Thank you

Well the biggest players are FA and INW and you already have those. There are smaller national ones, like German Flavors etc. But personally I would not bother.

Then there are the companies that create one shots, like Vampire Vape...if you are into that. Heisenberg and Pinkman are very very popular.

For Pinkman I would use Pink Panther from Inawera, it's exactly the same for a fraction of the price and instead of Heisenberg I would mix Grack Juice (much better, same profile/direction).

So yeah...I think there is not much you could buy.

As a greek I have to tell you: Don't get Atmos lab. Maybe try some FlavourArt UK like custard pi. I have also seen Flavourmonks Gin flavours being reviews positively. Think they are from Belgium.

Oh yeah I completely forgot about FlavorMonks even though I'm Belgian. Their Pistachio is great, vanilla custards are very interesting (different from any custard concentrates I've tried before), Speculoos is really good but not authentic speculoos, and like you said their Gin line is pretty popular. /u/materoxxx

Aren't inawera an Italian company? might be some more obscure lesser known flavours they produce that aren't sent to the masses?

Solubarome in France has some good stuff and you can order on their site for very cheap. I recommend Caramel, Captain Jack, Taro, Fresh Pineapple, ... there might be some others but that's it off the top of my head.

PureTaste from dampfsaft (an austrian company) has some nice flavors (mostly flavor-mixes tho, PureBioTaste were the "base" flavors, but can't find these on the website anymore)
