Summer's Wallow
What to do, oh what to do.
I don't know
There's Nothing to do, oh nothing to do,
Yet so many things to do...
What to do, oh what to do,
There's Nothing I want, nothing I want to do.
What to do, oh what to do,
There's so many things I need to do,
but nothing that I can do.
What to do, oh what to do,
There's so many things, too many things,
But maybe I can do.

Inspiration from Springtime by /u/HocusKrokus, Kawayan by /u/RuntDastardly, and the floral episode of NOTED
Recommended Soundtrack: Chariot, by Beach House
Recommended Drink: Lime, Seltzer, Wodka, Cactus Pear
Development Notes:
FLV Pink Guava -- This is a beautiful flavor. Bright, citrusy, mildly funky, and compliments florals extremely well. Motivation and inspiration have been hard for me to come by lately, but after trying Springtime and Kawayan I knew I wanted to incorporate the beauty of this flavor in to a piece. While not the star of the show here, it does a wonderful job setting the tone for the vape.
FLV Yakima Hops -- This ingredient was brought in to provide most of the body for the vape and play with the florals and accent the citrusy aspect of Pink Guava
FLV Elderflower -- Just a touch. This reinforces the floral direction of the vape and also provides some mellow sweetness that the recipe needed.
FLV Thai Chai -- The wallow. The darkness. Though the flavor in itself isn't particularly "dark", on the spectrum of florals it certainly isn't bright. This ingredient was brought in to mellow some of the more forward floral notes by bringing them down and a bit and providing a dark floral spice tone for all of the other flavors to congregate with.
FLV Soursop -- I loved the usage of FLV Guanabana in Kawayan and wanted to incorporate an element of that in to this recipe. While Guanabana is a fantastic ingredient, mellow soothing and delicious, it just wasn't doing it for me here. I wanted something a little brighter. FLV Cherimoya was my go to here, but it was a little too bright and distracting from some of the darker notes. FLV Soursop to me is sort of a middle ground of the custard fruits between Guanabana and Cherimoya and it fit perfectly here. Honestly, any of the these three will work here, I just found Soursop to be the most complimentary to this recipe.
INW Purple Rain -- So this flavoring is like a lavender vanilla. Mellow floral forward with a soothing and creamy vanilla. The lavender really pushes this in to the realm of a floral vape and is a lot of what you taste on the initial experience. The creamy vanilla aspect though is really what bridges all the ingredients together to round out the vape and provide a creamy element that I particularly enjoy in my vapes.
Sorry for the delay on notes! I wanted the piece to speak for itself but I suppose if you're not familiar with these ingredients it would be pretty ambiguous what each of these are doing here.
Anyway, this one really speaks to me as far as the state I've been in as of late. It's bright and uplifting, with a present and encompassing darkness. An experience of sorts.
I don't know cheeba. May or may not be breaking #6.
I'll let it slide b/c you provided suggested pairings, but if it happens again...
*Edit - much better, thanks.
I agree. This is really pushing limits of "significant development notes." The video link is super informative but how does recommended music and "wodka" help mixers up their game?
Yo, /u/CheebaSteeba give us some notes on this bouquet of florals while they're still fresh in your noggin'!
EDIT: VERY NICE NOTES ADDED TYVM
