INW Red for Pipe
submitted about 8 years ago by twisted_dick

Setup: SXK Hadaly clone, 22ga ss316l 10-wrap, Cellucotton wicking

Testing: Inawera Red for Pipe @ 1.5% 70/30 1.5mg

Flavor Description: Inhale is red sweetness, exhale is leafy cherry pipe tobacco. It makes me think of if Dark for Pipe had some cherry/fruity sweetness to it. Fairly one-dimensional flavor, but very good.

Off-flavors: None

throat hit: 3/10

Second Opinions: none that i could find on here.

Edit: Not to be a stickler, but it would be nice to see a little more of a description above and beyond "red sweetness" and "leafy cherry pipe tobacco". It doesn't necessarily help the person who has never tried the concentrate understand what it really has for potential. Also, personal opinions like "very good" should be left out of the description. It can be included in your notes section, but remember that flavor is subjective and personal preference should be omitted when describing a flavor.

Thanks for the tips, I'm by no means an expert, but this sub has been a little dry recently and I'm doing my best to contribute some.

Meh. You're doing just fine. Different people do things differently and taste things differently. Keep up the contributions. It's good to have as much information as possible with regard to flavor notes. I appreciate you!

Never picked this one up because there was basically nothing about it online. The only thing I ever found mentioned cherry so I've avoided it. Any kind of cough syrup vibe at all? Cherry flavored anything tastes like cough medicine to me. Except real cherries. I can fuck with those.

I've only tried it at 3% and get more of a cinnamon red hots from this than I do cherry. Some kind of fruit is there, but it's a weird pairing, to me; On one hand I feel like I get a touch of cherry, the other I almost feel like it's a strawberry (or cherry berry combination), but then along comes the red hot stompin' in on all over it and thoroughly confuses everything.

I don't hate it, but not a fan either... Might work as an accent flavor; Definitely stands out and might be worthy in the sense of it being a For Pipe flavor in some weird way, but as far as tobacco, it doesn't shine the way the other For Pipe flavors do. If you need a black cherry tobacco, stick with Black Cherry for Pipe. Red's just weird, unless you think you might be into that sort of spicy cherry fruit weirdness thing.

Yeah, I don't get red hot from this at all. I got a vaguely fruity sweet tobacco. Not medicinal at all, which I really liked.

it's not an IN YOUR FACE kinda red hot, more the suggestion of the red hot spice somewhere in the smell and on the back end of the fruit. It really confuses the hell out of me and isn't anything at all what I expect. I'm already not a huge fan of cinnamon or red hots in my vape, but if you're into it, YAY you -- you might like it. I've been steeping the only 15ml I mixed since early may and it's still weird to me.

Sweet? check. Candied? maybe. Tobacco? nothing much to speak of behind the sweet.

It's just a meh, for me. I probably won't be reaching for it ever again, save for the few and far between, but nevertheless inevitable wild hair...

Yeah it's not as tobacco as dark for pipe or flv Connecticut shade but I do get some leafy notes from it on the exhale. It's not the best flavor I've ever tried but I thought it was pretty decent.
