idk ive never had that liquid mane. fuck there are also tobaccos in the inw line that are just vaguely sweet like swishers.

there could be some maltol or em in there. claims are bullshit sometimes, like if i used ry4 double but didnt add in anymore maltol or ethyl maltol could I claim no added sweeteners since i didnt technically add anymore sweetener (than whats already in the flavor)?

I've really wanted to try that juice for a while so I could see if I could figure it out, but they wouldn't ship to Indiana. Read some reviews and someone said they think it's brown sugar. I wish I could try it for myself though.

Off of highly rated recipes? A couple of minutes. The actual mixing is very simple. Lots of pitfalls, but you'll pick those up along the way.

Making your own quality recipes? That's another matter. First you need to familiarize yourself with your concentrates and how they interact when you combine them. That alone can be a very long process. There's plenty of reading that will be helpful. Meanwhile, find some recipes you enjoy and pick them apart. Examine what flavors were used, the percentages, and the choice of brand. Then start tweaking them, omit some ingredients, change percentages, swap brands. Doing this, you tend to find out the hard way what works and what doesn't. You can mix up a simple and pretty decent juice on day one, but nailing the balance and all the aspects of a quality juice isn't something you can rush.

Fuck no. Do not get an Alien. SMOK has terrible QC issues and some aspects of the mod don't even work. Check out the Smoant Battlestar or Charon if you are looking for a dual battery device.

Wife and I both have eleaf 100w dual battery mods and couldn't be happier. Has all the features you won't use but they're there. Cost was about $50 plus 2 new batteries and as very heavy capers can get 1.5-2 days out of them. Of course we vape in the 35-55w range

Smelling is the most common. I have probably sniffed my concentrates hundreds of times and just asked myself "What do I want to add to that?" This is also how I figured out similar or shared volatiles in some flavors. Smelling black currant after passionfruit or giving TPA pear a sniff after honeysuckle. Unfortunately this is also how I ruined TPA sweet raspberry (ketchup) for myself.

All three of the those guavas are crazy different, so any subs you make with those is going to taste much different than the original. There's a good chance it'll taste better, though. You can probably use CAP Sweet Guava at the same % as the FW. But FLV Pink Guava is very strong. 1% might be too much, depending on what other flavors are in there. Also, it tastes as much or more like grapefruit than guava. But is tasty. What is the recipe?

Mixing by volume works yes, but for smaller batches (5ml-120ml) and recipes involving decimal % of flavors you'll never be as accurate as you could be. When I first started I used syringes and once I got a scale I realized how off my batches were (every single one). Mixing by weight is inarguably more accurate than your eyes will be measuring a syringe.

By weight is also faster and less messy. Most flavors come with dropper tops so all you have to do is drop directly into whatever bottle you're making the juice in right on the scale. No need to have multiple syringes and keep cleaning them. The small investment of a scale is going to save you time and money in the long run, and what's worth more than that?

In a nutshell OP... Mixing by weight is:

• Faster
• Cleaner
• More accurate

Well for one you're not wasting time cleaning syringes for every flavoring/buying hundreds of syringes. The benefits are numerous. Saving time measuring each flavoring. People like to be very adamant about volume being more accurate my but if the recipe was made by you, measured by weight, and the drops are coming from the bottle they always are, you're still getting the same ratio, right? Obviously it could carry once you start using others recipes, because of the habit of buying rebottled flavorings, varying the size of the drops if the dropper tip is different.

But the casual mixer will see the same results on average tastewise regardless of whether weight or volume was their jam.

I'm also a rather new mixer, just regurgitating what I've been reading. Long time lurker, rather recent mixer.

Some of the bottles I use in my squonkers are the same plastic bottles I use for DIYing. A fair bit of those have been in regular rotation for over 2 years, many with strong NET liquids. They are still in amazing shape and have had a lot more use/abuse compared to the same bottles used for just DIY if that gives you any idea about longevity.

Glass bottles are best for reusability. Plastic tends to hold on to smells more, but I've found baking soda helps a lot. I usually use soap and water, rinse, and then shake some baking soda and hot water. It seems to work pretty well.

I just rinse my mostly plastic bottles thoroughly with water and air dry, used them for years. A few have cracked, I've discarded one or two due to smell, otherwise they're all still in use.

Almost an unlimited amount of uses! I've got some I've been rinsing and reusing for almost 2-years and they are still fine.

Mixing more is the best way to handle long steep times. If you always have something to vape and some new mixes that are done steeping, waiting for that one mix to steep becomes less of a problem.

I have not tried cake monster but there are 2 things I would recommend.

First is to drop the amount of gamma octalactone probably by half and go up incrementally from there. You maybe overshooting as some of the concentrates may have it in there already.

Second if you are looking for creaminess you maybe looking for a flavour with Diacetyl in it, I personally don't use it in my DIY generally but the recipes that I have tried that had it in there were super creamy. Something like CAP Vanilla Custard V1 etc

1st question: yes. The first (blue label) is a standard VG nicotine base. You'd add this into your recipe calculator the same as any other nicotine base, setting it as 100% vg with the mg qty set to whatever strength you'd choose to purchase, and then add your 70/30 base equal to the two values of the remaining VG and PG added together. The second (purple label) can be used in a similar fashion, just plug in your nic base as being 70% vg and 30% pg. I know at least ATF's calculator allows for divided bases in nicotine. On the second question: not exactly. Let's say I'd want a 3mg final product. If I bought 3mg nic/vg/pg base and used it with a recipe that was 12% flavoring, it'd dilute my final nic strength to 2.6 mg, which isn't dangerous, but is kind of silly because it's not at all economical and the total amount of nicotine in the final juice would vary every time you'd mix a different recipe. If I was you, I'd stick to the 18 mg base like you are used to using, which is what the blue label is, just in a bigger bottle. If possible I'd switch to PG based nic too, just because it amalgamates easier in mixes. I'm using VG nicotine myself right now because I wasn't paying attention to what I ordered and now I have a liter of thick, 100mg vg nic in an annoying jar thing to fuss with.

Yes always keeps your stock Nicotine in the freezer. It is best to break it down into portions of what you use for a month and keep them in the freezer. Then keep that months bottle that you are currently using in the fridge.

If that is too much work you can keep it in the larger bottle in the freezer and only open it monthly to fill up your working bottle. It won't keep as well as the above method as you are introducing new oxygen everytime you open the bottle.

If the nicotine does not taste bad to you in your juice I do not see the point of throwing it away.

If you are adamant you want to get rid of it, I would run the cold tap and the pour the nicotine slowly down the sink. Keep the tap running afterward to wash it out of your u bend.

If you are ordering from the US try to not order when the weather is too hot as you nicotine may spend a long time in transit in high heat which will oxidise it.

It won't be the same and there's usually a pretty good reason why one flavor was picked over another. Even swapping one menthol for another can make a big difference if they're not exactly the same strength etc.

Feel free to substitute flavors, especially to ones you know you like. It may even be an improvement. Just keep in mind it's not going to be the recipe created by the author, but something different, to varying degrees.

That's a great list for all kinds of milky goodness, but I think you should give some other strawberries a try and maybe some FW Hazelnut as well.

This doesn't look bad at all. As ID10T said hazelnut is a shoe-in for strawberry the same way you would think TFA malted milk is. However, TFA malted milk is a big fat liar and you're better off using hazelnut or graham crust to accomplish something better.
FA black currant is a great booster for "thin" strawberries like capella sweet and also worth picking up as well at the other strawberries. FA and INW are both fantastic.

I can't help you with specific brands, but in theory there should be little to no difference at 99.7% purity, with the remainder being water.

In practice, how it has been stored and handled can make a difference. If the VG you've had has been good, the grass will not be greener on the other side. If your VG has seemed too thin, had a taste (other than slightly sweet) or odor, I'd try another vendor. Which one shouldn't matter, again, in theory.

While the source can impart a slight taste (most notably with coconut but also with soy, which is why palm is generally preferred), you won't notice it in a mix.

Just make sure whatever you buy is USP or BP etc as it will be for human consumption where as if you just buy none USP/BP the 0.03% could be something unfit for human consumption such as heavy metals or the like.

PG helps a lot in bringing out the flavor, so you want around 30% of that. 25% is too much flavoring and even then you land below 20% PG in the mix. I would advice you to pick up some PG, you won't need much but it will help for sure.

As for why it doesn't taste right, that is first of all due to the 25% flavoring. Aim for 5-15% total, but this and steeping depends on what flavors you are using. Was it a one-shot concentrate, did you get any instructions?

Either way, you would have better luck finding a good recipe and ordering those concentrates.

you dont need PG to mix vapeable juice. your problem was using 25% flavoring. that sounds disgusting. depending on what brand concentrates you have, anywhere from 3-12% should be good.

My favorite is a Velocity V1 clone. Very simple to build on (dual coil), a big juice well, o-rings that don't catch (important since you'll be popping the cap off a lot), great control over airflow which translates to great flavor. But above all, the airflow isn't situated at the bottom like most RDAs which causes them to leak, especially if you're over dripping. Oh and clone because price.

Much like tanks and mods though, it's a matter of preference. I just like this one because it's user friendly and durable, while having great flavor.

Steeping is an incorrect term for what is actually happening, but it has kinda stuck. Aging, curing, homogenizing, call it what you will, but the concentrates need time to mix with each other and the PG/VG. Particles are exchanged, molecular structures are changed, I've seen it referred to as a diffusion or Redox reaction whatever that is. I've given up trying to understand the science behind it and just accepted that chemistry needs to happen for some flavors to come out, and the larger the volatiles, the longer the process takes. That's why a fruit flavor can be shake-and-vape while a heavy cream needs time to do its thing before it will taste right, and the process doesn't start until you mix it all together.

When you add a teabag to water what happens? Same thing when you add flavorings to a VG/PG solution. It needs time to flavor the medium it's being carried in.

1. Ratio is personal preference/based on your setup

2. You can't get 100% VG unless your flavors are also suspended in VG. Most are suspended in PG. If you use 100% PG your juice will be ridiculously thin and will probably burn in whatever Atomizer you are using.

3. Its not smoke. It will have a slight sweetness

Depends entirely how it has been stored. Give it a try. If it tastes bad, it's gone bad, and you shouldn't vape that.

It's probably not going to taste very good. It will be harsh due to the oxidized nicotine. And all flavor will probably be gone. You can certainly try it. You will not get sick.
