Warning- Recipe made me puke
submitted about 8 years ago by ieatblackbeans

Going for a pistachio yogurt here and got something nasty.

FE Avocado - 1.5% FLV Coconut- 1.5% TFA Sweet Creme- 0.5% FA Yogurt- 3% FW Hazelnut- 2% FLV Pistachio- 2.5%

Watch your butyric acid levels! This shit tasted like straight spoiled milk vomit. I’m not sure what flavors here are redeemable, but something about that FA Yogurt I think was enough to make me hurl.

I like /u/notcharlesmanson's description for the new FA Yogurt, "Pickled Foot Mayonnaise."

But, why so much FLV Coconut in your attempt at pistachio yogurt? It looks more like an attempt at a rancid coconut nut butter.

flower nut>>> rancid nut

3% seems pretty high for FA Yogurt (new) especially with these other concentrates, 0.75-2.00% range is good for adding a little bit of dairy stank to recipe.

In small amounts, Cap Vanilla Custard v2 tastes really good. At medium amounts, actual vomit.

The only v2 I've tried and liked was the Cap Graham Cracker. Peanut was HORRID. I don't like either version of Vanilla custard so...

Oh god yeah if you didn't like v1 (I loved it at 1-3%) v2 is the same thing but grosser. Hahahaha

Graham cracker v2 is awesome, agreed :)

Vaping on VCV1 and Graham V2 right now, actually, haha.

It burns my throat, well at least I think it's that! Even at super low amounts. A shame cause it's common in cream concentrates.

Just tastes like bile to me... I can't get past the flavor to worry about burning... Lol

Interesting. I've made this recipe:

CAP Blueberry 6% FA Yogurt 2% TFA Sweetener 1.5%

@ 70/30 VG/PG, 3mg nic

I mean, it tastes like a probiotics drink (yakult, anyone?). Not like creamy yogurt, but it's still enjoyable.

Must say that I made it about 6 weeks ago.

Maybe it's the % used? or the extra sweet cream? Or the steeping time?

Edit: I can't tell which version of FA Yogurt I have, if it's the original or re-formulated.

What’s up with the reformulation? When did that happen?

Can't say, as /u/ID10-T said:

I'm not sure now if FA did re-formulate their yogurt without diacetyl or something. Or if I misunderstood the statement.

They used to have one that was diacetylicious! Then they took out the D and replaced it with vomit.

The puking is a pretty clear indication of the reformulated FA Yogurt. Never mind the remaining ingredients, 3% Yogurt by itself is enough to make me puke.

TFA Sweet Cream is also very cheesy. Not so much at 0.50% though.
