Hey everyone, I am a long time lurker on this sub and have been doing DIY for about 13 months.
My original goal as with all of us I think was to replicate flavours I enjoy.
As to that I believe I have managed to clone Prism by the French company Cloud Vapor. The recipe is as follows, all ingredients are TFA 8% green apple 4% strawberry ripe 1% dragonfruit
So as requested, some notes. When vaping "premium" Prism, I was mainly getting Apple notes with quite a fresh Strawberry on the inhale. With the exhale I found it to be smooth but not devoid of flavour, however the Apple note was again the most prevalent.
It is worth noting at this point that the description of Prism is Apple and Kiwi, with Strawberry and a Mango hint.
This led me to a very simple recipe to begin with, which I referred to in my note book as prism V1 Green apple 10% Strawberry ripe 3% (Again all flavours are TFA)
When vaping this I found the apple to be simply overwhelming, bordering on acrid in fact. The Strawberry flavour was not present. I decided to then drop the apple down, and give the strawberry ripe to come through as I didn't feel that another concentrate would be right to deliver the fresh 'true' strawberry I taste in Prism. Most other concentrates in my arsenal are very much a candy Strawberry. Prism V2 Apple 8% Strawberry Ripe 4% Vaping this I found that it felt a bit flat, lacking fullness of flavour. I tried kiwi at 1% however it quite dramatically changed the profile, which I felt was close. I also tried Sucralose at 1% with this same recipe but it became a very candied Strawberry Apple, reminiscent of a boiled sweet.
This is when I came to the idea to add the Dragonfruit. We all know this pairs well with strawberry and I was expecting further work with kiwi and mango concentrates to get this dead on. However to my surprise the addition of Dragonfruit gave this recipe the undertones it needed, which I believe are referred to as mango and kiwi in the official description.
So there you guys are, as I said I was expecting more work but for some reason this recipe got it dead on, at least to myself and my other half.
Pretty good as an S\V but better after a few days.
Opinions welcome guys but I think I got this bang on.

Walk us through your previous versions of this and what about them fell short of a Prism clone. Show us how you got from wherever you started to a successful clone.

That's some serious flavor bending to get kiwi and mango to come out of nowhere.
To be honest with you I couldn't taste a distinctive mango or kiwi flavour in the original juice, more of a tropical sort of edge to it
