FA Meringue is a bit high, I'd dial it down. I haven't tried INW Marzipan, but it's possible that it might turn a bit sour and metallic over time. FA Marzipan is great, but it does have some odd properties that come out after a long steep.

As for the recipe, that's a lot of ingredients not entirely pulling in the same direction, so the outcome is kinda hard to predict. I'd try to simplify it a bit, such as dropping the cheesecake and the sweet cream. I doubt you'll even notice that they're gone, but it will help you troubleshoot.

First of all, thanks for posting this in this thread. I wanted to add to the other comment with another suggestion. The AWS LB-501 is the standard among DIY Mixers, though there are other options that will work great. The nice thing about the LB-501 is that it can run on a wall plug instead of batteries, and it has no auto-shutdown. Many scales will automatically shut off after 20-30 seconds of idle time, so if you're looking for another option, battery powered or not.... look for something without this feature, or with the ability to turn this feature off. Also there are scales (like mine) which will stay on for 2 full minutes before shutting down due to inactivity. That's good enough for me. Good luck buddy!

I'd try that at various times to see how it changes and when you prefer it. At least steep it overnight. But the first three ingredients all get better with time, while the lemon will fade. There will be a sweet spot in there where the other ingredients have steeps some but the lemon hasn't faded too much. So try it after one day, and if you like it, vape on. If not, give it like three days, and try again. And so forth. That's how you'll find the optimal steep time.

I would give that a week. ID10-T's comment is more precise, but just based on the looks of the recipe, I would give that 5-7 days before I vaped on it =)

Check with them about their shipping. I use Signature to make high nic juice for the iCare and AIO. Others use Smooth to achieve less of the throat hit in normal devices.

I don't know if you can get the rest for this recipe but it would be a good start. TFA Banana Nut Bread is a fantastic flavor on it's own so I would try that and go from there.

I have these funnels that jam into the bottle with no room. I just fill the funnel then pick up the whole thing and squeeze the bottle repeatedly until the funnel is empty. Repeat until done.

Trial and error mostly in my case. I have so many flavours that I have no use for.

The usual advice is to find recipes that sounds good and is highly rated, and buy those flavours, then build up your collection from there.

Do you want to build up a big collection so you can sit there concocting and engineering your own recipes? Or do you just want to get a few nice flavours so you can make a small variety of juice that doesn't cost much? For the former, you're gonna end up spending a lot of money on stuff just to test and play around with. For the latter, you'd be better off letting us know what kinda stuff you like and asking for advice on specifically which concentrates would be a wise investment.

I just keep an eye on the recipes being posted to this subreddit and alltheflavors.com, and make a list of the recipes I want to make if I don't have everything I need. Then, when the list is pretty long, I just use that as a reference to make an order of the flavorings I need =) ^please ^^help ^^^me

You can add more base to it. Ie if you have mixed 30ml at 70vg 30pg 6mg you can add another 10ml of unflavoured 70vg 30pg 6mg. This will reduce the total % of flavoring

The problem is usually nicotine, if your friend could bring some of that safely through customs, it should be possible to have the rest shipped. Though I'd make pretty small orders every time in case they get seized.

And if you go for simple recipes using strong concentrates, such as FA or INW, even a small bottle could last a very long time.

Off topic, but I actually had never heard of Mauritius until literally this morning. I saw it on Snapchat's new map thing. Actually looks like a really pretty place, eLiquid confusion aside.

i don't live in US and shipping costs can be ~20-60$ (or even higher). try to compare shipping costs for one flavour vs 10 vs 20 vs 30 and track the difference. even with expensive shipping getting flavours from US is more than 2 times cheaper compared to local vape shops (they sell 30ml TFA flavours for ~13USD).

before making order try to contact flavour/nicotine suppliers support and ask them what they going to write to customs declaration. and ask them can they write something like "food flavouring" at everything. mb even put nicotine into some flavour bottles. i don't think that customs will smell each flavour if they will have any questions. also it's up to you how to use these flavours. they may be used for food. so actually you and supplier will tell the truth which may sound good in terms of your local laws.

country where i live have no issues with nicotine import. but one nicotine supplier sent nicotine to me with label "food flavouring". it was no need in that and i'm not asked for that. so what i proposed above may work for you

A few of the more popular ones are Bull City Flavors, GremlinDIY, EcigExpress and Heartland Vapes, if you are in the US. I recommend skipping the syringes, buying a scale and mixing by weight, instead.

TFA Dragonfruit (not for the flavor, but for its purpose in fruit mixes), CAP Italian Lemon Sicily, TFA Strawberry, JF Sweet Strawberry, TFA Pear, FA Fuji, if you like blueberry: FW Blueberry, TFA Blueberry Extra and FA Bilberry are the three to use together. INW Cactus is quite useful as an additive. INW Peach.

INW Biscuit, CAP Sugar Cookie, FA Cookie, FA Liquid Amber. I could keep going on and on. If you are just starting out mixing, I'd stick to some highly rated recipes first.

I don't mix a lot of recipes from others, but I make a lot of my own. I'll give you some of my favorites.

Durry Air - I'm working on a new version of this, but this original is good. Created this to help out someone on here.

Smoking Popes - Not cigarette, but you'll have a hard time creating something that tastes like a cigarette. Good though.

Old English Style - English style pipe. Pretty strong.

Brigade 2506 - This is one of my favorites. You'll notice INW Black for Pipe is a common theme. It's my favorite, and this recipe really showcases it well.

In my opinion, stay away from Flavour Art tobaccos. Others like them, I do not really.

Sure you can. The only issue you may have is with flavours like Melons or maybe Peppermint come to mind. Some flavours impart themselves into the plastic which can then transfer to the liquid you put in the bottle next. In my experience it's best to use glass for really strong flavours.

Click on the blue wrench and select 'Adapt Recipe' then you can change the ratio of VG/PG, nicotine strength and base along with the amount to make.

You have to enter the flavor name in the second box, not the brand, and a drop down appears with every brand that has that flavoring or close to the spelling you input. You click on the flavor that you want and it auto fills the proper brand.

I think Tobacco Absolute Cuban Cigar is under 'Tobacco Absolute Garuda' or 'Cuba Cigar' one of the two. I'm not real sure on that one.

Your mix is 90 PG/ 10VG?

I don't know what your purpose for the Vanilla Swirl is in your recipe. You may be able to leave it out. A bit of AP may help you here

You can probably find better info there as they're trying to create a PB & Jelly sandwich.

Just peanut butter and jelly wouldn't really appeal to me without a sandwich to put it on. Perhaps it's the bread part you feel is missing? Upping the PB&J percentages won't help and adding more flavors will just make it a muddled mess. I'd focus on adjusting or replacing the Biscuit, Cheesecake and Vanilla.

I shake until it looks evenly mixed, no strips of separation visible. Usually a minute depending on the head room. Depends on the recipe for a steep mainly fruity recipes can be a shake and vape outside of that it's not common. Even then the mixes usually benefit from sitting a day or so at least.

I leave as little headroom as possible usually. This is just out of personal preference. I make a 30ml in a 30ml bottle and there is usually enough air to mix it. Leaving extra headroom doesn't make things steep faster. It doesn't matter how much you have it's all the same when it comes to a steep.

I short bottles 10% to make shaking easier. So 27 ml for a 30 ml bottle. I put them in a warm (not hot) bath for approx 60 seconds just prior to shaking to thin the vg out. I use a vortex mixer I got cheap off eBay and just go until it looks consistent. Just hold it up to the light and look for an oily looking streak. If you see that keep shaking. And yes 30-60 seconds is plenty. I usually shake again before I vape off the bottle the first time for good measure.

Using a syringe for VG is the worst. I use a condiment bottle for each PG and VG. And I just add the VG last, so all I have to do is fill the bottle up to the top & im good.

I would raise the RF Strawberry Lemonade to 3% and the TFA Raspberry Sweet to 4-5%. Other than that it looks pretty good.

TFA flavors are pretty weak especially Raspberry Sweet. As well, RF SC are definitely not as potent as they claim it to be.

You should start mixing by weight now. You'll regret it once you find out how much easier and less of a mess it is with a scale. There's really no reason to start out mixing by volume first if you are intending to switch later. So skip any kits you find. I would also recommend buying flavors from another site like Bull City Flavors, Gremlindiy, or Ecig Express. Liquid Barn carries their own flavor line, so you might have some trouble finding recipes.

Mixing is simple, you add flavors, nicotine, PG and VG, then you shake it up. You don't need any particular gear for this, just the bottles and a scale. Or syringes, though mixing by weight is simpler than by volume. If you're mixing by weight and your bottles don't have drippers, you'll need some pipettes, but that's it.

Don't make 120 ml batches right off the bat though, start with 10 or maybe 30 ml if you must, until you've learned the ropes. Not because it's easy to screw up, but because you may not like the recipes, and it sucks having 120 ml of something you're sick of after 5 ml. Start small, start simple, scale up when you know what you're doing. Same goes for concentrates, you're better off getting a few small bottles of different flavors than a big bottle of one flavor that you might hate. Need I say you shouldn't buy a gallon of nicotine until you've tried it? :)

You can start mixing 120 Ml. test batches, but you may find that this will become a little too expensive if the mix(s) fail to meet your expectations. Most folks mix differently when compared to each other. Batch size, number of flavors, number of mixes made at a session, to name a few factors, can dictate the type of DIY equipment needed to complete the job. I suggest starting out simple with making 5-10 Ml. batches by volume, see how you like your mixes, then progress with the method you like to mix by, given the desired batch sizes of your known successful mixes. Might want to watch a few You Tubes about DIY mixing and see what folks are using, equipment wise, for mixing with regard to the batch size per mix.

So, what are you vaping right now which is too thick? Just flavoring + VG? Or did you use the 50/50 stuff + flavoring? I'm just a little confused about your question but I'll try to help you out =)

It really depends on what you like I usually go for 1% for other people but 1.75 or 2% for myself.

A buddy of mine likes it at 3% but he is a weird one so theres that as well.

FYI it is actually not as strong as Koolada, I posted a link about cooling agents.

Or rinse your bottles with water. Some of the smell may stick but u wont taste it.

Plastic isn't meant to be reused. Best way to clean bottles is soaking them in alcohol, then letting them dry.

I rinse them several times in hot water and air dry for the juice I make for myself.

Figure out how much you'll use up during a couple of months and find some bottles to match that. Shake the heck out of the source bottle (hope you got PG base nic ;) and split it up into the smaller bottles. Glass or plastic, clear or opaque makes no difference, but dropper bottles will probably leak since the seal is just a rubber gasket.

Keep a working bottle, put the rest in the freezer. When you run out and fetch one from the freezer, let it come to room temperature and shake the heck out of it before opening.

Do note that this whole process isn't entirely necessary, but if you have high quality nic, expensive or hard to come by, it's a good way to protect your investment. If you skip this, your nic will slowly become increasingly harsh over time, depending on conditions and treatment.

They're more about convenience than anything else last time I checked, the convenience of not filling your cart yourself.

Maybe you need those accessories and you'd need to other them elsewhere and pay another shipping fee etc.

100 ml of water will be the same as 100 ml of VG. The VG will just weigh more.

Volume is temperature dependent. Your 126 grams of pure glycerin takes up 99.58 ml of space at 15°C and 99.87 ml at 25°C. As you can see, it expands with heat.

Slight but insignificant. Pretty wasteful though unless you only vape that flavor in that atomizer until you've used up the whole batch. Otherwise you'll use up a lot just wetting and replacing wicks. More importantly, single flavor samples tend to be so boring that you probably want to discard the samples after testing.
