How much time is needed to steep nicotine?

I'm getting back on the vape full time after succumbing to cigarettes again following a death in the family. My wife has inherited my brother's PICO, so that will be there for her if she needs it while she is getting off the cigarettes.

I've been mixing my own juice for a while now, always adding the nic at the time of mixing. I understand the steeping time to allow the flavours to develop, but does nic need time to steep in an already steeped juice?

My plan is to mix up a few 100ml bottles of nic free juice, allow it to steep then decant into smaller bottles and dose with nic to our own levels as we may wish to taper off at different rates.

So do I need to let the nic steep in already steeped juice or can I just shake and bake?

Nic is basically shake and vape. Make sure there is enough air at the top your bottle so that it mixes thoroughly. Better yet, pour the nic into an empty bottle then add the juice.

Nic does not need to be steeped. Just shake well.

Just make sure you can't see unmixed nicotine when you hold the bottle up the the light. Otherwise you may have some 24mg-0mg juice depending on what comes into contact with your coil.
