In hopes to not pay a fortune anymore for halos tribeca i found this sub and was pointed to a few recipes. They all generally had the same flavors just in different amounts and after help from you guys this is what i was recommended to try: http://imgur.com/COLRcIs
Today is exactly one month since the day i made my first batch. The problem is it doesnt really taste much like halos tribeca. Its not a bad vape i actually like it, but it wasnt what i was aiming for. It just tastes way to much like graham cracker. I honestly kind of feel like i made the exact opposite of tribeca and somehow switched the flavors around. Tribeca has a strong RY4 taste, with a graham cracker flavor in the back. But the vape i made has a strong cracker taste with barely any ry4.
So does anyone have any suggestions on how to adjust this a bit? I made 4x30ml of this stuff mostly because i didnt want to wait to long if i liked it. So while im looking for a new adjusted recipe to make some more and try again, im also curious if there is any way to fix what i made. Thank you!

Drop that Graham Cracker down to 1% and the acetyl pyrazine down to 0.25% - 0.5% and see where that lands you.

You probably don't have the needed concentrates, but I've been [playing with a recipe] (http://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/1543377/YakGak%20%5BObsidian%20Based%5D) using the Obsidian base. It's in the same flavor profile and it's pretty yummy. You might order the flavors for that and a [few other] (https://www.reddit.com/r/DIY_eJuice/comments/64j5vs/z/dg87lhd) RY4 recipes that are really good from u/ChemicalBurnVictim.
So i followed you advice and made a bottle. Its only been 48hours, but i figured screw it id give it a try. So far its already 10x better than it was before. Doesnt smell/taste overly strong like graham cracker and i can actually taste the r4 a bit now. So i definitely have some faith that this will be good in a few weeks time.
That's great to hear. Getting the right balance can be tricky. Some flavors are very potent. The most important thing in mixing is getting to know your flavors. Each flavor from each brand is a little different and needs different percentages and will mix with other ingredients differently. When I lack experience with a flavor I learn from other popular mixer's recipes. Go to ATF or ELR and find your flavor and look at the top rated recipes. It helps most of the time. Single flavor testing is always good too so you have a reference point and some notes. I use Evernote on all my devices (phones, tablet, laptop, etc.) and keep notes and recipes notes there.
Personally I think RY4 Double is a very poor RY4. I get very little tobacco flavors and is kind of a tobacco flavor for people who don't really like tobacco IMO.
IME Hangsen does the Ruyans the best. 1-4 gradually getting sweeter and less dry as you go higher.
Hangsen RY4 with a touch of INW Virginia Tobacco Absolute should get you started right, maybe a little INW DNB if you want a little smoke/ash.
I'd probably drop AP and EM to .5 but that's up to you.
Thanks for the advice! When i first started vaping i was hooked on Hangsens USA mix for a while. It the only "tobacco" vape ive used that actually tastes like tobacco to me. Tribeca tastes great but its more like caramel candy to me. I will take a look into hangsens flavors because if i enjoyed there USA mix i will probably enjoy that too.
There's no way to fix it unless you dilute the batch further with PG/VG and then adjust your flavour levels to compensate while not adding any more graham cracker.
For your next Tribeca attempt, try 8 to 10% TPA RY4 Double + 1% acetyl pyrazine. Should get your pretty close after a 2 week steep.
Have you tried FlavourArt's Soho concentrate yet? It didn't work for me, but to be honest I haven't tried anything except combining it with AP so far. There are a lot of people who love the stuff, so I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. I'm still pretty new at mixing.
